Re: The rise and fall of stablecoins
by

When we say stable coin like USDT, it is not worth for investing because it is promptly a stable value of a dollar only, it is just like your money in the pocket not gaining any profit on it.
If like that, I think that stablecoin is very suitable to be used as an alternative method to avoid market volatility.
But sometimes the price of stable coins doesn't always follow the USD because this coin is not regulated, so I still doubt.

Re: When to trade altcoins?
by
Meggie Diaz
on 15/12/2018, 21:48:26 UTC
Is there a good altcoins I should be looking into for trading?
Because altcoin is more volatile than bitcoin, it's better to trade on altcoin with low supply and the price is still low (not comparable with total supply). So the opportunity to rise up to 5x is far greater. Why should choose coins with a low total supply? because if the price of this coin free falls, usually it will be faster for recovery and even tends to be stable.

Re: Is product important for a project?

Products are important for a project so that the value of their tokens can be protected from market volatility, but sometimes these products do not always match what they have planned from the start. So it's better to invest in projects that already have working products or at least have a prototype.

Re: Give me a coin that will easily go 3x

Well, I would say that each coin in top 20 cmc is going to make 3x within next year.
We dropped too deep,so I bet there is such potential to get back to higher levels
Next year? I think it's too long. You can find altcoins that can rise up to 10,000% overnight at Yobit, although this sounds ridiculous but that's the fact. Even though this really happened but I not recommend to try it, because if you are timid and don't have enough luck, you will only get a loss.

Re: This is the FINAL

Blockchain has the potential exceed what we expect. Therefore, there are many irresponsible people who utilize this technology for the purpose of raising money through ICO. In relation to the price of tokens in the market that continues to drop, I think this is a natural thing, considering that every day new crypto continues to born but is not balanced with the increase number of investors.

Re: Should leave the market?

Leave the market after the value has falls 50% seems to be the wrong decision, so it's better to keep holding it. Unless you are very confident if the market conditions will continue to get worse until the end of the year, maybe leave the market from now on is the best decision.

Re: Do you still believe and invest in ICOs? Why?
by
Meggie Diaz
on 12/12/2018, 23:00:52 UTC
As for me, I invest in ICOs when I know the organizers myself. Also I like investing in projects which have already collected soft cap. It's less risky to lose your money if it will be scam.
This is the best strategy, but it does not mean there is a guarantee that you will get a profit. Even so, at least it is not a scam, so even though the price of their token after listed on the exchange is not as expected, we still have a chance for recovery.

Re: Aren't we killing the market ourselves?

Maybe they did this because forced, considering the cryptocurrency market had been bearish for almost 1 year. Although there are many investors who dump all their holding, but if the market is bullish it does not have an impact. To prove this you can see the chart in the previous year.

Re: Thinking about sell? Or invest more?
by
Meggie Diaz
on 11/12/2018, 23:06:50 UTC
Invest more because if you choose to sell, it means there is no hope again for recovery but before doing this you must analyze first so as not to regret. In addition you also have to look at market conditions, if there is no chance for recovery it's better to cut loss and look for other altcoins to cover you losses.

Re: [ANN] Ethereum: Welcome to the Beginning

I just realized that Etherum doesn't have a total supply, it's like Dogecoin. Whether because of this factor that has made prices of ETH on the market difficult to grow? Other than that, even though their technology has been applied in many ICO projects, but it does not seem to have a positive impact on ETH prices.

I have several Waves in my wallet, maybe for this reason I always get tokens from unknown wallet, but some of them have values and not. So I want to ask, how to determine the token is valid or not? because there seems to be a lot of spam tokens (made only for jokes).

Re: Why NEO cant be divided?
by
Meggie Diaz
on 10/12/2018, 18:49:59 UTC
Hello, yesterday I bought some NEOs because price was soo nice. But I have find out that I can send only whole number increments of NEO. I mean that you can´t send 0.2 NEO, you only can send 1NEO. And my question is why? Imagine the price is 1NEO=150USD and you cant send 0.2 NEO. It doesnt make a sense.
Can you tell me from where you send it, exchange or private wallet? if you send it from an exchange, maybe the rules should be like that. Because there are several exchanges that determine the minimum limits for deposit and withdrawal, or maybe because NEO are created only to make large transactions. Because I have never made a transaction using NEO, so I don't know about this clearly. So is better to ask it directly on their telegram.

Re: Bitcoinus platform is fully developed, the token price stays low.. Why?
by
Meggie Diaz
on 10/12/2018, 18:23:00 UTC
Hello, I was following Bitcoinus platform since the ICO has started. Few days ago they have listed their token on HitBTC. I wonder why the price of BITS is so low now if they have working product? Despite their platform is fully developed, the token price stays the same or lower..
Many factors that can influence it, but I'm sure this happen because it is dominated by investor disappointment. Considering they have promised to get listed on a large exchange but after waiting a long time they cannot keep their promises (too many lies). In addition, they also cannot work in accordance with the roadmap that has been made. So i think it's natural if there are no new investors who are interested to investing in Bitcoinus.

Re: Amazon launches blockchain product

Now the Amazon has implemented the blockchain technology into their system, of course this is a good step. So that i am sure there is possibility if in the future they will also have their own cryptocurrency to be used as an alternative payment tool. Considering payment using fiat takes a long time and must go through a complicated process.

Re: Is it true that 99% of all airdrops are shitcoins of bad projects ?
by
Meggie Diaz
on 08/12/2018, 14:27:55 UTC
If that is true I think this is reasonable, because usually airdrop tokens do not have ICO. Certainly it would be very difficult to develop their project, even to listing in exchange is very impossible because this would require a lot of funds. But this does not apply if the dev behind the platform is rich people who have a lot of money, because to develop a project they will not need funding assistance from early investors.

Re: Will you invest in ripple ?
by
Meggie Diaz
on 08/12/2018, 14:11:06 UTC
Will the past repeat itself again like it did last year with ripple where it gained over 1000% and then suddenly dropped down to just few cents, will you invest in ripple or not ?
Do you know the reason why the Bank is interested in using and implementing the technology that Ripple has into their system? This is because Ripple has the potential that is not owned by similar platforms, so there is no reason to refuse to invest in Ripple. Regarding with the price drop this also happened to all crypto so I think this is a natural thing, considering the price of cryptocurrency is very fluctuating.

Even though already don't have KICK tokens in my wallet but in every month they keep coming, is there a way to stop this because it looks like spam and is very annoying. I know clearly if every month they give dividends to token holders, but because i am already don't have it, should not be eligible to get this.

The BTC crash is good news for Altcoins
You can think of it as good news maybe because you can buy altcoins at low prices. But for me if the bitcoin price is crash is the worst thing for the altcoin because the market becomes unstable and it looks very scary to trade. In addition, the bitcoin obtained from the altcoin trading if exchanged to fiat the results is very little.

Re: HUSD: The Universal Stablecoin Issued by Huobi Global

in my opinion there are too many stable coins circulating in the market today. Are investors still interested in this type of coin?
I see the function of each stable coin is not much different from one another. so is crypto really in need of stable coins?
I also think the same, why there are many companies who are interested in making stable coins even though they already exist. Is this because it's really needed or because they have other goals such as politics and business? It seems stable coin will be the next drama after Bitcoincash, be a smart person in making decisions guys Smiley

Re: Pity for those who bought at ATH
by
Meggie Diaz
on 07/12/2018, 11:31:43 UTC
The crypto world at the moment is one filled with so many levels of emotion and reactions to varying degrees of loses experienced by people. While some people are sobbing about their little loses, we should also reflect on the fact there are people who bought BTC @ $20K, Ripple @ $3, ADA @ $1.22, etc. Most of these guys are still hodling, hoping the market will bounce back and they'll recoup their loses.
Almost all crypto prices have dropped by 90%, so even though in the end there will be recovery I'm sure it can't cover the losses, so you also have to increase the amount of altcoin you have by bought it at cheap price. But the problem is the most people are afraid to buy back because already several months there is still no changes on the market conditions
