Hey guys I need your help.
So I've setup my miner to mine Dynamic [DYN] on zergpool.

This is what it looks like and it seems to be working:
sgminer.exe -k argon2d -o stratum+tcp://argon2d-dyn.mine.zergpool.com:4239 -u myDYNwallet -p c=DYN,mc=DYN

However, I havent gotten any payouts yet, but accumulated some DYN and they show up under "balance" and "total unpaid". What is the default threshold for DYN?

Re: [LAUNCHED][POW]⚡ELECTRONEUM⚡Official Moderated Thread

I honestly believe that returning back to an asic-friendly algorithm is a seriously bad move. Sure in the short term it might help ensuring network stability but in the long run it will make Electroneum centralized i.e. that most of the coins are going to be in the hands of relatively few people. I really hope that Richard Ells and his team reconsider their decision because this fork is a major letdown to the community in my opinion. I mean, for real how many people do even own an ASIC. The vast majority of people don't. And to further strengthen my scepticism they say something like this:

Quote: "There is a further development. The first generation of hardware called an FPGA miner is arriving during 2018 and they make ANTI-ASIC capabilities a thing of the past, as they circumvent the slow delivery time of new ASICs by being re-programmable. If we are ready to embrace these rather than fight them, our network hashing power is increased further and our network stability and security is further enhanced.
Because ASICS run cooler, quieter and use a fraction of GPU rig power, they are suitable for MORE people to run in their homes. If you are interested, a search of “Cryptonight ASIC miner” in Google or Ebay will find the equipment needed to mine Electroneum. You will need to be reasonably technical to achieve this!"

This sounds like a friggin advertisment for ASICs, wtf O.o
It makes me wonder if there is more in it than meets the eye. Either the Electroneum team has a secret arrangement with ASIC suppliers and get a share or they run ASICs themselves in their offices, which honestly would explain a lot.

TLDR: Bad move Richard Ells! I'm disappointed!

Is Wavi really only CPU-mineable? I remember when Ravencoin was announced to be CPU-only and shortly after that people were happily mining with their Nvidia GPUs at much better hashrates.

Re: [ANN] Brazukcoin - true anonymous currency [BZK]

Hello, folks!

So, I look at crex24 and I like that BZK is worth more than some established coins now. Also we are the second best performing coin on crex24 (the first one there seems bizarrely manipulated).

Now that we have a stable service, we need to reach more goals (mostly regarding gaining more visibility (marketing)).

Let's take this website as example: whattomine.com

This website is a well known place for potential miners to find good opportunities, so obviously it helps a lot with visibility.

So, according to their website (source: http://whattomine.com/contacts/new), we need to be on one these exchanges: Abucoins, Bitfinex, Bittrex, Binance, Cryptopia, HitBTC, Poloniex or YoBit to get listed with them.

Also, https://coinmarketcap.com/ (another great venue for coin visibility) asks you to be listed on certain exchanges as requisites.

So, by getting us on one of the above exchanges, we then get a ticket to http://whattomine.com, https://coinmarketcap.com/, and from there so many other services in the cryptoecosystem.

Can you see where this is going?  Wink

I hope you haven't sold your BZKs for a pizza    Grin

Onward we go sailing!

Let's go

I find https://www.cryptunit.com/ to be much better than http://whattomine.com. It only compares Cryptonote coins. And it is probably easier to get listed there than on whattomine.
I really like brazukcoin and hope that it will take us to the moon someday.

Is there a way to reduce the CPU usage?  I'd prefer not to have it running at 100% all the time.

you can adjust the number of threads used by adding "-t" and your desired amount of threads used in your batch file.

So if you have a four core CPU with hyperthreading but you only wanna use 4 threads on the miner it should look like this: -t 4

I can't mine this coin somehow.
Whenever I start the miner I get this: "[goldenhillpool.com:6668] RECEIVE error: Ein Blockierungsvorgang wurde durch einen Aufruf von WSACancelBlockingCall unterbrochen"

Which translates roughly to: "a blocking process has been interrupted by WSACancelBlockingCall"

What am I supposed to do?

Please help!

Re: [XLC] ★LEVIARCOIN★ DRM and In-app Purchases
by
Melfyce
on 29/01/2018, 20:38:27 UTC
On the 11th of this month we increased the block size because some transactions were too big and that resulted in coins being locked in the wallet, the fork was successful, txs in the pool were successfully mined and the coins were unlocked but now the same thing happened again, because tx size is unpredictable, so we were going to increase the size from 200k kb to 1mb to have a block size bigger than the max tx size mineable. To do that we were going to do another fork, but after some consideration we thought instead of taking two weeks to do a fork to just increase the block size. We decided to switch to monero’s code while maintaining our blockchain, this will fix the block size transaction and give us a lot of new features that we would have to add ourselves otherwise, features like offline wallet (Mnemonic seed), RingCT, subaddresses, Multithreading for daemon and wallet, Rpc wallet and more importantly a more stable daemon’s code, this will save us a lot of time and will allow us to work on other aspect of the project and get us closer to the point where we will be working on what really makes Leviar a unique project, from the in-app purchase system to the DRMoB. Modifying the code will take about 3-4 weeks and at the same time we are working on the new whitepaper and the roadmap and the new website and the rebranding elements.
The fork will take place on march 1th 2018, so until that time we recommend not making any transactions.
We are sorry for the inconvenience, but this decision we took was for the best interest of the project and the coin holder and it should help move this project forward.
Thank you for your understanding.
Leviar team.

So should I better stop mining now or is it safe to mine until the fork happens?

Though I'm quite new here on bitcointalk I'm really hyped about this project and I'm mining CRDS almost 24/7 now because I see the potential in it.

So I applied for the airdrop. How do I know if im on said list? I will spread the word and help the community to grow.  What else can I do to improve my chances to be chosen?

As I said this is a very nice and promising project! I'm happy to be a part of it now.
