I have to ask. How much money do you have into investing and creating a retail company? Sorry, just have a feeling you don't already own a store, or have the funds for what you are describing.
Also, you have the idea of Decentralized wrong. Decentralized means you don't have control over the coin. And it's not backed by a retail chain. It's created, then sent into the world, backed by people mining, and they are the ones to get the coins, not the company. You may have a pre-mine to distribute, but the larger it is the less of a chance people will buy into it. What you are talking about sounds lik the exact meaning of a Centralized coin.
No I do not own a store already. I work a job but I had plans to start my own company. I have all the legal paper for my company and now I am working on my brand. I like crypto and I am looking for a way to raise money trough fiat and crypto for my company. Thank you for your definition on centralized/decentralized. I have recenly made a post on here about a coin that I wanted to create but I honestly don' know much about creating a coin or raising money for one. Despite my lack of knowledge, I received some excellent feedback from a few. The main point I got from the feedback is that in order to make a coin there has to be TRUST being that is is a decentralized network as well as a reason for people to buy into your coin.
After contemplating this for a few days, I asked myself how can I implement this coin into the every life of common households worldwide. Well Melloney's LLC I want to be a retail company. But one company of many businesses. But as for the coin, I was thinking maybe a coupon like coin. Major discounted items for trade by this coin. It's a "retail" coin I guess with coupon feature. I was thinking since I am based in the U.S to do a mail campaign and send everyone a KEY. The key,of course shaped like one, will have the address and QR code to download with your mobile device to get receive your first MELL. I guess the MELL can be used for acquiring items at a discounted price. Please ADD TO THIS. I am not dropping this idea, this why I am asking for help.
I think I have one more way of acquiring MELL and also to put Melloney's in the good graces of things. I want a game application, ( I am no developer) Characters:Melly/Mell (your choice) to go through everyday life according to the users age and education and complete task dealing with there education and getting MELL for every succesful completed task. EX..Your child has a test next week, they can download the game play and learn for the test at the same time... Please ADD to this..If I understand the true meaning of decentralized then this is why I am bringing his to the table.
My goal: To start Melloney's LLC as being part of this new generation of entrepreneurship, a trendsetter for entrepreneurship, and to establish a new brand in my country. (U.S) I have seen big brand name stores, the same ones all my life. Time for the new I feel. I also feel I have the perfect concept and drive.
My view: I feel as though if the P.C got introduced to almost every household in the world, then why not the crypto-currency. I can I ask to many ppl about Bitcoin and they still have no idea what it is and a lot of them are scared of it even. I am looking for ways build awareness throughout inner cities and rural areas. I do know that ppl dont want to hear or are intimidated by technical jargon. There has to be a way make the transition subtle.. I am taking as much advise from any of you who are skilled for help on this subject. Thank-you very much in advance.

I have recently took investing on poloniex serious. Ever since I've invested the alt coins have been down. Do the amount of coins I posses go up if I stay. Also, do I have to wait for the coins to go back to their original price that I bought fo in order to make a profit? What are the reasons to holding if prices are down? Thank-you.

I think you are not alone with this kind of thinking right now as the ICO boomed. There have been companies with real business that went sourcing additional money/capital via the ICO route and they were successful in generating more funds for their business.
I do suggest that you talk to someone or a group of people who specialized in bringing business into the ICO universe. Only deal with professionals who can package your business to make it more appealing to ICO buyers. There is now a movement of introducing niche businesses to the ICO market and your idea can be one of them.

Yes there are lots of people who do have this kind of idea some of them succeed but most of them do failed because of lack of interest or speaks with "TRUST" in the community. You could possible gain some attention if you do make it appealing to potential investors. I am simply brainstorming ways to implement my company into this new generation crypto. I undersand the business plan aspect as well as the use for the token I will create. I understand the "Trust" as well. But I do not understand all. This is why I am asking the community. I really want this to happen so I am taking all the advice and notes I can. I want to specialize in womens clothing. But I want this retail store to be special and relevant to our generation and whats further to come. I have an idea for Melloney's to venture into the crypto-currency world. I want fully compatible hardware to go into the brick and mortar stores of Melloney's. (BTC,LTC ect...) I want to promote art and beauty everywhere. Self empowerment and confidence in all expression. Like I said I am no crypto-developer/technician. I am a 28 year young enthusiastic future entrepreneur seeking to help integrate this technology into to the homes of people around the world. I am interested in charities helping other countries pickup on this technology helping them build off this technology and more. I want to do this all under the name of my company Melloney's LLC. I have the domian ready for this site. I have a facebook page. I am looking for advice on how to jumpstart this project. I am completely new and brave for even writing this.
