Re: I'm dumping my coins because..

There are certain situations where you'll need money desperately and you'd have no other option than to sell your assets. I have fallen into this category several times. I hardly ever sell my crypto assets to buy other coins. It never ends well, at least for me.

Re: Coinmarketcap's New Feature "Earn"

The feature is good and ideal if you're a newbie in crypto. Wish we had something like that when I started my journey into cryptocurrency. I think Binance will also make some money through it. I see a few coins like Band, are being recommended for newbies. These coin projects will have paid quite a sum to Binance to be promoted on CMC that way.

Re: WHAT TYPE OF CRYPTO INVESTOR ARE YOU?

I'm wedged in between the holders and professional traders. I have coins that have been in my wallet for a couple of years now and I am still holding. Trouble is they are now shitcoins. Lol. Bought scam projects in the past. Now I hardly hold for long unlike before.

Indeed, it is strange how Uniswap suddenly rose to prominence, commanding such huge trading volumes. However, I think it makes it difficult for experienced traders to use when it comes to using charts, signals, and analyzing the best entry and exit points. These are features you'll normally get when using a centralized exchange.

Re: Another DeFi exit scam

DeFi brings so many possibilities to earn some good profits. Unfortunately, scammers have hijacked the hype and now use it to lure unsuspecting investors. Everyone should protect their funds by performing relevant research on the DeFi projects they are interested in. Simple stuff like whitepaper checks for plagiarism and GitHub details should be looked into before they go ahead to invest

Re: What is best blockchain platform for building tokens for my community?
by

I might sound biased but I think you should pick Ethereum. This is because I feel ETH blockchain is more user-friendly than the other options. I have used both EOS and NEO for transactions in the past and I'll still stick with Ethereum. There's a reason other blockchain platforms have been unable to displace it from its number 2 position on the crypto coin rankings.

Re: Why people are buying when the price is going up and not when it is down
by

People who buy when the price is going up are not patient. They are greedy and will curse and swear at crypto trading when the price eventually dumps on them. These people will never buy when price is low but are quick to jump in at the nearest all time high of coin prices. I do not have any sympathy for them when the market comes crashing hard on them.

Re: Does bounty still kind of worth on 2020?
by
Melody2
on 15/09/2020, 15:49:21 UTC
Bounties are in low volume in 2020. In fact, the rate of projects getting promoted via bounties have been in decline since their popularity in 2017/2018. One of the major reasons for this is because tracking the result of bounty efforts is difficult. Most projects devs have realized this and so they have basically cut off bounty campaigns from their projects to focus on other means of promotion. That is one of the reasons bounty rewards have dipped so low over the years. Worst case scenario, some devs don't even pay bounty hunters anymore because they fail to see their efforts at marketing the project in the first instance.

Re: Crypto after COVID-19
by

The global lockdown has definitely made more people to be aware of cryptocurrency and blockchain. More and more people now see the unreliability of fiat being controlled by governments and financial institutions. We may see an influx of people buying and holding crypto assets in the next few months. I have a feeling the bull run will commence fully post-COVID-19.

How come not many people were aware of this at the time? Perhaps it was a closed ICO for only selected participants. The project has piqued my interest already. Investors must have made some juicy profits. ICO price was around 50 cents and it is currently trading at 5 dollars.

Re: 18% XRP Price Drop ! ~ Moon or Bust?
by

It is better to just hold XRP in small quantities. I think its large total supply is going to make it harder for the coin to have a significant increase in price. I would rather hold ETH and BTC in bigger quantities than XRP.

Re: How to Deal with worst Market
by
Melody2

With this instruction I believe you are targeting those who day trade and not the long term holders. Day trading can go south very quickly and without warning. So following your advice may keep these set of traders safe. I will also advise using stop loss where necessary. It will save you a lot of headache in the long run

It is painful when you buy the dip and it just keeps getting dipper or you take profit and convert to usdt only to see that the coin you sold keeps pushing up in price. The best thing is to swing trade frequently and utilize stop-loss too.

Re: Qatar Bans CryptoCurrency
by

I know that this may mean bad news for cryptocurrency but I think these bans never last for long. Also, I don't believe it will impact the current price of BTC or other altcoins in the market like it normally would have before
