Re: [ANN] [2GIVE] / CHAIN CHECKPOINT UPDATED / SYNC INFO
by
Merlin44
on 18/05/2017, 09:20:36 UTC
I've confirmed that the seed nodes are fully in sync and we did a manual checkpoint at:

{
"synccheckpoint" : "000003e1c27946ac57fde950bfde6fa890f8c132824770eff1e26724b940cbe1",
"height" : 49208,
"timestamp" : "2017-04-29 18:46:17 UTC"
}

If you end up getting stuck synchronizing, you can always delete blk00001.dat, blkindex.dat and the file in database/ directory, then configure your wallet to only connect to our seed node to pull down the chain

listen=0
connect=192.169.7.65

I've made a note to go in and review the checkpointing code -- I don't think its reasonable to have it checkpointing every block that gets provisionally confirmed -- makes more sense to have it do so every 4,8,16 or 32 blocks just to make sure we allow for network consensus.

I've long thought that bootstrapping a wallet was inefficient one block at a time -- it makes more sense to do a RSYNC like whole file pull from trusted sources.   I'll add that to the list for this summers enhancements.

Thanks for your continued support <3

-dvd

Tried this solution this morning, after tried resync 2 times, and still got many unconfirmed transcations, and my wallet with 02GIVE and the bad checkpoint
Is there a new version for windows than the old 2.0.0.RC6 ? Help

Faites attention à vos altcoins !
Une faiblesse dans mes securités dans un de mes ordis a laissé 188-25-181-127.rdsnet.ro me voler 200 CIRC.
Certainement un lecteur du forum de Circuits ou celui de Quatloo.

Go to debug, run listaddressgroupings and copy/paste the full results here.

second clue, someone always trying to go in my vnc server from 188-25-181-127.rdsnet.ro
(wich has be blocked since this morning)

Is CRZhd91Nb64uwKmuj6FwKPtqeYbuSXZe4k your bittrex address?

The first two addresses are change addresses and the second one is from the 200 CIRC transaction in question, then you are just left with your main address which is now empty.

Most likely explanation is you got hacked but he was kind enough to leave behind the change.  Possibly because he was trying to act quickly and it's faster to just type "200" rather than worry about all the decimals places and making sure to leave enough for the transaction fee.

Yes it's my bittrex adress
And Yes, i've to put more security.
I've to search who's this guy

Unfortunatly my wallet wanst password protected, and always launched for minting. so it's my fault maybe.
btw computer is well protected, vnc is well protected too.
btw someone with a circ wallet has found a way to made that.

So you were minting with 200 coins? I got like 25k and I only mint like 3 coins a day, so you were minting for 0.025 coins a day? Sorry that doesn't sound very believable.... Huh
Yes i do, just to discover and following circ wallet, wasnt doing anything else, why not ? i've not really more money to play.

I hope you are not offended if you are genuine, but I don't believe you, you have been registered since may, more than enough time to know how this stuff works...
Im not offended dont worry.
my first deposit in my circ wallet was :

So your CIRC balance is exactly 0?  No dust?  The change address from that transaction is CGnSANaTsZU4VQK1Hs7t6raf3f4CmsoncY and contains exactly 0.07072833 CIRC  If it were a hack, it is kinda odd that he would send 200 CIRC to one address but set a custom change address for the last 0.07072833 CIRC.  Kinda weird there would be a change address because I'd expect him to just clean you out.  If for some reason he is OCD or whatever and didn't want the dirty dust, the 0.07072833 CIRC should still be in your wallet under that address.   Go to debug menu and run repairwallet as well just for shits and giggles.
Theres 0.58662833 CIRC exactly now in my circ wallet
I really cant explain anything more than you, i'm just asking

Can someone have a REAL news ?
After decrypted source code of quatloo :
They are taking 1.69 QTL of each trade

Crypto Obsucator is used too crypt the 4.5 .net assembly
In the 2 crypted resources :
QuatlooTrader2
QuatlooTrader2&

we have usage of a unrecognized wallet.
Remember :
DONT USE ANY SOFTWARE USED TOO TRADE IF YOU DONT HAVE SOURCE CODE

Qtl trader : share your source code and may people will know.

we dont care about other bot.
I can made any psd as i need for that, i've an Johnny XVII ready
Qtl is 2x time that i've byied, Circ too, and some others too.
Annouce are usefull for someone who has qtl, not to call anyone for buying it.
Made a poloniex/crptsy/btce/cexio work and i'll x2 my qtl wallet
Make a qtltrader soon or qtlwill loose his power.. that's the law.

for stupid people :
Circ need 30.000 Circ and working
Qtl need 30.000 Qtl and not working for a least 3.000

Work geek guys
Do you need the bittrex value for now ?

Saly (As you like to say) A buggy mono c# program always done a badly soft.
You dont know how to make a not omplain coftware. Just to made QTL a bette rchoice than another
Unfortunatly, bugs are resolved in 1 hour with an open source thing
Bugs, with a geekly software are never resolved, just for some near friends.

So, If 'Markus' do a good job, (that mean 1000 workers using it above 3000 QTL) and MArkus DO a good job
Pr if 2 guys says : QTL trader is working well, buy QTL more than 15.000 and everything is working then... my friend you arent one.

I easily done my arb bot with polo & cryptsy.

2 guys in 72 concersation say: it work
70 guys in 72 conversation say : bad work

So you work, or you disapear, and more than that :

Markus : Explain how you have done this Mono C# Progy, that will explain why you cant improve it

Are you still running different software programs at the same time?

Each call to each of the Exchanges for your check balance would include a nonce in the call.
Tried on 2 computers, with no other programs.
I just saw 2 guys who say "no error, working all day" and 50 guys who say "not working"
Thats what I am trying to tell them. I am running 3 copies of the bot on separate systems. I am getting a nonce error every once awhile now, aside from a long streak yesterday where I couldn't load my balances with polo no matter how many times I hammered the refresh button. The fact that no one else has said they are seeing the same magnitude of difference in nonces means the issue is either on their end, polos or a combination of issues that are hard to diagnose from a forum post that simply keeps repeating the same thing.
I am just curious because they said they did not have a problem with their Java program.  If they are writing a program, they would know how the nonce works....

And, still up a running with no errors.  Windows did a restart on me yesterday, so I did not run for an hour or so, but other than that, no errors at all.
I know how nonce work..
If i've an issue, then it's a bug.
My java soft are working well. and it's open source
I just asking the programmer to make some efforts about bugs instead of improving capability.
I'm not the only one to complain;
I'm a programmer too since 30 years, and i never use non open source software concerning cryptocurrencies, so I'm not a troll asking for using geek like circ software, and just want to help to improve qatloo trader.
So now, i'm will stop to talk about bugs here, wait a few moment to listen for the dev work, and not with some users who never konw what a source code look like, and avoiding to have a steril discussion.
If nothing happen in the good way, i'll just stop to use qtl without any consideration, I dont care about that, life is too short for wating about hypothetic working software

If my bread at 1000 QTL isnt well cooked, i'll never buy another one at 3000. I change Bakery.

Update v2.3.2.2 released.
http://quatloos.org/downloads/Quatloo-Trader2.3.zip

-Poloniex cancel bug fixed
-Cryptsy adv ping pong fixed
more updates to come !
keep posting ideas and bug reports.

Is there something you can do about the nonce issues with polo? My balance list on the arb screens is blank for polo about 50% of the time.

Thanks, yes, i'll look at that

Still no news about nonce error ? tried in 2 computers, still 1000 x less than needed (microsecond with mono sdk or maybe bad use of daylight saivng too ?)
And no cryptsy wallet.
Do i need to sell my qtl reserved for quatloo trader ?

I am now running the bot on 3 systems, 2 local and 1 vps. I had a long run of nonce errors yesterday but this morning it seems to be back to normal. As kb4svc pointed out, the nonce issue could be related to multiple instances making calls to close together. We may have to live with the nonce issues until he gets the push api integrated. I am also still not seeing the 1000x difference you are, this still tells me that the issue might be something on your end as well as with the bot and polo.

Nonce must be greater than 143 722 086 216 076 2. You provided 143 722 827 210 9.
AS api says : Additionally, all queries must include a "nonce" POST parameter. The nonce parameter is an integer which must always be greater than the previous nonce used.

There's no previous nonce used in poloniex, the only was the one that's used in bittrex on launch. So it's a programmation mistake
