Interesting concept so far based on the whitepaper. Curious to where you're going to be implementing this system if it is successful.

It was stated that you guys are not planning on making the coin available on exchanges until after the crowdfunding. Can you state some exchanges you guys have in mind or is it still too early for this information?

Re: [ANN] EDASH TOKEN [ERC20] AIRDROP LIVE
by

Excuse me, if I may ask these questions?

1. Can you please explain what do you mean by migration server on your website? I looked at your url on whois and it said that the domain is available.

2. Are you related to EDASH before? It is also an ERC20 Token and you have the same symbol. Is that a coincidence?
I believe that its thread is already dead, I'm not sure though. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2252201.0

3. Why are you asking a force donation? You cannot complete the google form unless you fill up the transaction (hash)?

Looks like another typical airdrop donation scam (or pump and dump if it even gets that far).

That forced donation to submit the form.

Also:
"Ultra-Fast transaction confirmation times, secure, private transactions with minimal  to zero fees. Spend your EDASH tokens through the Visa credit card."
There are already tons of erc20 tokens that are doing that exact same function and some have working cards already. Nothing at all innovative here.

Receiving spam PM for this campaign.

Doesn't give me much confidence in this campaign if they're going to resort to that kind of bullshit.

I read the title and assumed you guys already had IBM partnership. However reading the Medium article about the partnership, it seems like you guys are still in the process of acquiring partnership.

Can you tell us the progress of this partnership? And please tell me it's not through some application on IBM PartnerWorld.

Only then would I feel more comfortable buying into the pre-ICO.

this is a clone project and an outright scam IMO, steer clear if you still want to save your money

No ICO, not asking for any money up front. Just believe in the tech.

Just because you're not asking for an ICO doesn't mean you're not trying attempting to deceive people.

Who knows, you might be hoarding a huge amount of coins you're planning on dumping when the coin gets listed.

There's already several tokens attempting to bridge BTC and ETH and I don't see anything that stands out from these other projects.

I use Bittrex. I think it's easier and safer to use. I haven't a problem until now.
But I think the problem in Etherdelta will be solved as soon as possible.

Problem with Bittrex is they lack quite a bit of altcoins that can be found on Etherdelta.

Re: Are Airdrops Profitable?

I tried few airdrops and none of them has a value on exchanges. Now i don't get into any airdrops but i like bounties.
But i know some people gaining some decent amount from airdrops. Its all luck related and i am not lucky
I heard some guys made decent money just from airdrops and also some are saying that airdrops are huge waste of time to collect worthless tokens.
Most of those are from people riding on the pumps during a pump and dump (some made couple thousands by riding the eBTC pump&dump).

That's what these scams do. Isnt that the same thing HIVE did. They stole the Populous idea, plagerised the whitepaper. I think it was about 80% plagerised if I remember correctly. You know it is really worrying that the cryptocurrency space has become all about speculation. It is the wild wild west out there. The day all these people get burned, its going to be hell.

Overall, all these problems causes more uncertainty and doubt in cryptocurrency and gives it bad press. It's annoying.

Re: [ANN] Sangus Rating Token [AIRDROP]
by

I guess these airdrops are going to be totally scams in the very near future.  If you need to pay the rent, just create a website, a token and advertise.  Then ask for .01 ETH to participate in the airdrop.  Sounds pretty good to me.  If a 1,000 people sign in, consider the rent paid.  Then they disappear and repeat the same thing next month.

And everybody is concerned about bots completing multiple registrations.  I think we need to be concerned about bots creating multiple Airdrops.

Just my 2 cents.

Basically these token airdrops started as:

1) Giving air drops
2) Doing bounties
3) Stopped providing white paper
4) Stopped providing any information
5) Started asking for 0.01 ETH to sign up for the airdrop
6) Started asking for donations

Yea it's fairly blatant that lots of these airdrops have become shit.

BEWARE, this is a teenager scam. Same bunch of motherfuckers that created Ethereum Cash, Ethereum Gold and Ethereum blue, and God knows what else.

Can you provide the evidence that these are linked? (Not trying to sound cynical but I genuinely would like to know, I too am getting somewhat tired of the same routine).

You guys are free to participate. But if all you are going to say is "I hope i could win" or "TG group ? Where can i join ? I want to in airdrop group .. Pls heLp me ..", these are not very constructive or useful posts. There are account farmers and these one liner posts only help make newbies seem like farmed accounts.

We also looked into a microturbine, but the costs (capital and maintenance) did not really compare to the genset I'm using.

I'll have a nice update soon, with more details on our source. I spent 14 hours today commissioning the unit and trouble shooting bugs in our programming. More of that tomorrow. Once I get her purring along I will update with some nice pics.

PS our power cost is $0 at the moment Shocked

You're getting natural gas for free?

Re: Why are Muslims synonym to terrorism?
by
Merptastic
on 22/10/2017, 00:59:40 UTC
We have to think about it, can you make me a list of people who are terrorist but not Muslim and not following Islam. And In the same way can you make a list of the terrorist who are Muslim and following Islam.

Make it asap and the rest of world is able to understand that Islam has no relation to terrorism.

I'm waiting for your reply.

The IRA, Aum Shinrikyo (before the split), and I think Greenpeace was also put on the terrorist watch list at some point.

Though I do agree with nitehawk that "the writings of the Quran can be misinterpreted far more easily than other types of religions." which leads to a larger population of Muslims being associated with terrorism.

To say that the IRA was an terrorist organization based solely on religion is an outright lie. The IRA was dedicated to uniting the Republic of Ireland with Northern Ireland. The fact that the majority of the early IRA were Catholic and their opponents were Protestant was not the cause for the fighting. There were actually Protestants who were members of the IRA. Later on, the Official IRA became a Marxist organization. Regardless of all that, it was Christians fighting Christians with one side seeking to unite their country that the other was occupying. What we see with these radical Muslims is their desire to slaughter any and all kuffar/apostates.

I was trying to prove the point that there are other "terrorists" that do not follow Islam and not Muslim and was referring to the IRA etc. Never said IRA was an terrorist organization based solely on religion.
