Have Binance/Bittrex/Cryptopia/Poloniex forms been submitted yet? Should try to get this on a market to encourage mining ASAP.

Yeah, Binance/Bittrex/Cryptopia/Poloniex will definitely add a coin that has been released not even a week ago.

Well what is definite is you being a twat about it.

Dumped my bag a few days a go.

One thing I will say is guys, obviously he cannot hire someone to help with this. He isn't making any money by working on this coin, nor is he being paid to do it aside from maybe a few small donations which the market can barely afford to convert to BTC. There is absolutely no way he could HIRE anyone.

HOWEVER!

He should have brought more people into the fold AGES ago. People in this forum would have gladly acted as PR, web design, additional coding help, etc etc. There are tons of talented people all over these forums, and many of them would have jumped to work on such ambitious tech, and most would have done it for free. While BTCtalk is sort of a running joke, the coin threads are where many go for updates and news, and generally what comes up first on searches. Updates in here were required.

If this was just a side project, something that was just passing fancy, he NEVER should have opened it to the markets.

To those who plopped down large sums of real money, their life savings, a second mortgage, etc. Please take this a lesson. Crypto is not going to make you rich over night. There will not be another Bitcoin anytime soon. No other coin will explode until Bitcoin and crypto have seen mass adoption which is years off. Even Bitcoin took a few years of gradual yet significant increases before it mooned. A coin is never going to move from fractions of a penny to a few dollars a piece in one move. When a coin is going to truly moon in the fashion that could make you rich, you will have ample opportunity to get on board.

Throwing money at ideas sometimes works in the real world, but not in crypto, and literally thousands of people have destroyed their finances by going all in on dozens of coins whos ideas didn't exist yet, but sounded good on paper, and whos anonymous and faceless devs told them of their devotion and good intents on an internet forum. Sounds sort of silly when it is put that way, right? That's because it is.

I'm not fudding. I have bought in and out of this coin for close to a year now. I held a significant chunk of this coin for close to 7 months. I have offered suggestions, have posted on Twitter tons of times to drum up support, have tried to stay positive. However, it is done. I know when I am beat, so I have salvaged what I can while I still can.

The really glaring thing that made me give it up was realizing that without a PR person or communication, there would be no pump. Odds are that he would randomly stumble in here, release the update, and there would be no pump leading up to that update because nobody would have a clue it was coming.

"Buy on rumor, sell on news". This is the LAW when it comes to any market. Follow it wisely.

Edit: If you plan on holding your bags into the dirt, try setting sells around 500-600 and pray some pump group goes to town on this coin. Has happened to plenty of others, but it is most certainly a long shot.

Don't get defensive I'm all for this coin. I just don't believe a few members hyping a project that may already be 6 feet under is going to cut it. We need to know the guy doing the actual work is alive more then once a year, and what work is being done.

I think a dev log would be great way to keep us in the loop. Just post changes, fixes, ideas, thoughts, etc. Examples and explanations of why what you're doing will be worth the wait.  Coder Journal, dev log, whatever you wanna call it. Just something to add a pulse to this coin. The community is nonexistent and would help to garner attention. An active thread is an easy way to do that. I mean all we hear is "Tor Browser". So why do I want to browse the internet with a wallet using Tor when I have Firefox to do that? Sell us on it a bit.

Right now it is just pages of a few community members gushing to keep the price up (no offense guys, I think it has been working, so don't stop) I mention price, not because the value is important, but because it is a solid indicator of the lifeblood of a coin. It shows people that there is a community. We haven't really seen anything in what is getting close to a year.

Even if nothing happens just pushing for this stuff and maybe (just maybe) getting a response from somebody involved with the project is worthwhile. Stealth coins are a crowded genre, amongst competitors that are incredibly active. Sure the idea of the tech here is great, but until we start seeing it it doesn't really matter.

Another idea is maybe get another coder in to help. Some projects are literally too much for one person.

Hey folks, long time lurker and holder here.

I'm sure this has been asked already but there are just too many pages ...

Any ETA for updates or news releases on SupetNET / InstantDEX / BTCD? Even extremely rough, like, estimated quarter or year?

Glad to see you're still so active and plugging away jl777. Your dedication and energy is always such an breath of fresh air in the world of crypto!

Anyone alive? RedDragon?

Really time for at least an incremental release. If a major feature needs more time thats fine but something to get some attention back is really needed right now.

he is finding a bug. finding a bug takes time with thousands of code written figuring out what is wrong

I know but that has been the case for months now, but the coin is drowning and needs something to float on for awhile. If we're looking at even another month without something people are going to be losing hope. It seems like some already are. Some sort of update would be huge for us. Give us the update without the Tor portion for now and let the word spread across the Twitterverse. I bought back in much lower then the current price so Ill be hanging in for awhile but I don't want to see this coin die out Sad

Anything on the horizon guys?

Whats cooking and do you have an ETA? This would be a good time to put out some news or plans or an incremental release now that you've had the spotlight thrown on you for a bit.

This coin looks like it has a ton of potential and I would hate to see it quickly end up in the back pages of Bittrex so quickly after people rediscovering it.

Yeah "He is in Slack" doesn't cut it guys.

As much as BitcoinTalk is a joke in the crypto world, it is also the FIRST thing that comes up for almost any coin when Google searched, including this one. Keeping this thread up to date is very crucial to the long term stability of the coin. If somebody heard about your coin for the first time ever and searched it, THIS is what they will be reading. Seriously, there are a lot of fans of this coin, get SOMEONE to volunteer to handle this stuff. How many DOZENS of other coins have crashed and burned thanks to a coder/developer trying to handle PR? I'm looking at you, Voot.

As ridiculous as it is, the cold hard truth of the matter is a single comment (or the lack there of) on this forum WILL make or break a coin during its life cycle.

The lack of attention and energy in these categories just make the project as a whole too weak for anyone to want to invest in. I'm all for reaching for the stars, but if you don't have a solid base to reach from you're bound to fall.

I have dumped with this rise to 400. I'm done holding this. Even if great tech is coming, why should I support a coin with nonexistant communication from a dev who cannot even stop in to say hi once a month, let alone this almost quarter long silence.  This coin, at least on the outside, appears to walk amongst all the other RIP'd coins.

I'm not mad, and I'm not sore. In fact I still hope this succeeds. What I AM saying is to get your shit together, because apparently if I don't say it nobody else will.

Re: Mining with GPU --- What should I do?

Try to only bring your miners up when needed and get into coins at launch. This way you can accumulate a lot of coins really quickly. This is totally a gamble but if even one of the coins you pick gets pumped you could be in for a windfall. Pick wisely, though. I have had a few I got in on early, got a bunch of coins, and they were quickly proven to be scams. Wasted electricity.

I took the advice of others and started small (2x R9 270s.) Got the rig about 2 months ago. Considering selling it now. HOWEVER, I got into CannabisCoin a day or two after it launched and mined a bunch of it. Now that it has pumped I have easily paid for my rig, electricity spent, and pocketed some cash. Off of one coin! I wish I would've used this strategy early on, before wasting my first few weeks mining scrypt and other high difficulty coins. My electricity is NOT cheap Sad

So apparently Counter Party lost and/or didn't save the wallet address I created so I lost 26 hours worth of mining. This needs its own wallet NOW.

Counterwallet generates a 12 word seed. You must remember this (ie write it down). It is not saved on any server or on your computer. If you lose the seed you lose your account.
Alternatively you can select a password + custom URL. But the same logic applies: you must remember  password + URL, otherwise you permanently lose access.

You may have typed one word wrongly. Therefore you generated another address when you logged back in.

FLDC can be stored on any Bitcoin address. To view your balance, use blockscan.com. To transfer your FLDC you need to import them to Counterwallet first, which is simple if you know the private key.

I setup a quick access code to avoid that issue. Had added a secondary wallet and it was gone. Initial wallet was still there as I had the address copied and it was the same.

Regardless of other wallets that can be used, for this coin to be taken seriously at all it needs its own wallet

Which kernel is for x15? I downloaded it and it does not appear to have a "x15mod" or other such kernel.
