"...first trustless zero knowledge cryptocurrency". This claim seems a bit false unless im misunderstanding something about your project. There are quite a few coins out there using some form of zero coin protocol. Could you explain why you claim to be the first?

The sky is the limit for Verge in the year 2018. All of the fud has been proven to be false, and the technology is starting to prove itself. More and more vendors are accepting verge everyday. And the developers are doing a great job. As the year goes on, I can see lots of coins falling off because of lack of utilization in the real world. Not verge, it's utilization is growing everyday, and its only going up from here.

Would you mind outlining exactly how the FUD has been proven to be false? Just curious because I come across a lot of "newbie" accounts that post things like this but dont have much substance behind them? I am just looking for actual information without the hype. Thank you!

What differentiates you from other anno coins already making progress with similar tech? Coins such as Phore, Shield, Colx, etc...

Just curious since the theme as I've come to notice it is new coins tend to release when their developers notice market movement for particular features. POS coins drove tons of POS copies. Same when MNs were first a big deal. Anno coins are doing great at the moment and so now here is another one...

Not trying to be difficult I am just genuinely curious to understand what in your mind will set you apart?

*To be clear all the things you listed that make your coin unique are already either implemented on existing coins or listed on their own roadmaps

Limiting to scrypt already seems like a hindrance. ICOs haven't been as popular in this area (anno coins). No premine/ICO is usually a more popular option due to the typical trend of immediate dump post ICO once any ICO coin first hits an exchange. Curious as to why you choose these options when it has already been proven that coins that expand POW mining options as well as minimize premine can grow exponentially by just proving tech to community.

Re: [ANN ][SCORE] [POS] [MASTERNODES] Launched officially now at 23.12.2017
by

i updadet the anno

Executive Summary

The original Scorecoin, which was a Proof of Work Coin, has been updated to implement Masternode capabilities. The current version is now Proof of Stake (POS). Our vision for Scorecoin is to connect game developers and gamers, enabling them to seamlessly transact and purchase additional functionality within respective games. The main usage envisioned for Scorecoin is to be an in-game Currency for mobile games. We also plan to get Scorecoin accepted within game stores as a payment method.

Scorecoin in its current state offers two distinct advantages over Bitcoin as a traditional payments method:

Scorecoin transactions are confirmed in a much faster fashion, lending themselves more useful for payments processing

The expensive transaction fees for Bitcoin do not lend themselves useful for small transactions. Scorecoin facilitates micro transactions for in-gape purchases

To differentiate from projects that may operate in the gaming sphere, we have clearly narrowed our focus on a specific channel, mobile games. More specifically, we will concentrate on Android games in the initial stages, with a plan to broaden our in-app currency solution offerings to IOS games in the near future.

The Masternode version is POS, meaning that you do not need dedicated machines to mine it. This provides Scorecoin community and miners an energy efficient and simple mining solution. By locking coins, masternode owners are incentivized to continue operating their node to receive a periodic reward in the form of more Scorecoins.

This all seems a bit late to the game overall. What edge do you have over coins like Gamecredits or Enjin? They have highly experienced teams, both on the crypto side and game development side moving their tech forward and correct me if I am wrong but didn't it take about 7 months for SCORE devs to figure out how to get MNs working from initial official release date?

yeah, we had similar plans. Would like to say Hi and thanks to all our initial supporters.

Glad to be here! I like what ive seen so far. I am tired of trying to guess the highs and lows trading most ICO or PnD coins. Looking forward to legit tech development to drive value!

For a project with such robust plans and ambitions this ANN IS WAY TOO SCANTY AND SUMMARIZED. More details please...roadmap, team, whitepaper etc.

Honestly, at the moment while tech is being developed i'd say this is a god send. We have a chance to really accumulate at the moment.

Too many coins out there get overly hyped for nothing as long as ANNs have all the showy pictures and whatnot.

This feels more inline with what I would expect for a legit project. Small notice till the time is right to make more of a push towards advertising.
After all, copy and paste projects are quick to upload new features...new/real development takes time Wink

As per open domain knowledge looks we are the first. Or please someone can correct us if anyone has come across such project.

Im surprised this thread is still as quiet as it is. One almost sure fire way to find great investments in crypto is to get in asap with a project
doing something first. Any speculation as to why this hasn't had more attention?

Servers migrated to low latency networks and few upgrades.

Mining and following here! Nice to get in early and hopefully project turns out to be a good one.
Any other coins currently focusing on adding smart contract capabilities to privacy coin or are you the first?

Could you put a link where NVIDIA tells to the investors that is in partnership with you? Official from NVIDIA obviously...

Doesn't sound like its a partnership in the traditional sense. More that having been accepted to the competition they will be granted access to certain resources along with all the other participants.

NVIDIA is incubating our startup since May 2017. The NVIDIA Inception logo that you see on our website is used with explicit encouragement from NVIDIA. NVIDIA's involvement with Inception startups consists of training, early access to latest hardware, introductions to VCs and competitions, such as this one in May 2017 that awarded $1.5m to 6 startups: https://blogs.nvidia.com/blog/2017/05/10/these-six-ai-startups-just-snagged-a-share-of-1-5-million-in-cash-prizes/
NVIDIA Inception is a highly-selective, application-only program.

This the program you talking about? Looks like you'd be competing with 2,000 other applicants correct? What differentiates you exactly to make you competitive in this particular contest?

Re: [ANN] [XSH] TOR/i2p, Quantum proof, MN, PoS/PoW, Fully ano, SHIELD
by
Mezmon
on 29/11/2017, 07:29:52 UTC
Verge is far superior to Shield.

Not from an investor's point of view.

The max supply on Verge is too high!

As a long term investor, Verge is far superior. As a short term trader, Shield will make massive gains, very quickly! The reason why Shield will run hard in the short term is because it is massively undervalued.

I'd say anything labeled as "massively undervalued" should be considered a long term hold wouldn't you say??

Regardless, this the XSH ann so let's try to leave discussing other coins in their respective forums eh!

Can some one please explain me why these security coins are any different from each other ?
Or what makes them better then the other .. at the moment there are so many coins that are referring to secure and privacy.

Of course this is important but what make shield any special in compare with the other coins.
Don't hate me I am interested just digging around a bit.

Hey Fluffyfart,

We're currently working hard on explaining every future project, but because we have not yet done this we will try to explain how we're different. For now we're different because we try as hard as we can to listen to our community and really take what they say into consideration. But for the most part we're not that different right now. If you look at our roadmap you can see some interesting projects that we'll release in the near future (6 months is not that long.) A coin like Verge won't ever be PoS (they said this in their Faq page.) Verge also has their Electrum database public something that we don't like because it could lead to leaked information other than just a wallet address. But if we're really honest we don't really see SHIELD as a privacy coin that much. We are a "normal" coin with privacy intergration meaning we'll be just as good as, or better than all of your favourite coins but you can also keep your identity safe.

So what makes us diffrent? We thrive to be a coin with the best function that doesn't give up on privacy to achieve greatness.

Just wanna bump this one up. Back on October 13th this was what convinced me to accumulate more.

Goes to show the how important a solid team is to the growth of a coin. A strong community supporting said team will just further drive potential!

If SHIELD can get to 1 000 satoshis, a 100K coins stake for a MN should be a nice round number.

No one in their right mind will fork out 50K USD for a farely new coin.

But my personal feeling is that it will not get to a 1 000 satoshis unless some of the 600 million coins are burned or some community initiative takes place to make the coin more attractive to more investors that believe in the project.

There will always be pump & dumpers, but if the community is strong "control of coin" and not dump on FUD, then this Project will succeed.

You never know really. Shield Devs have been on it! This alone helps to drive support.
