When his price hit $11, 000, I chose to buy it, and then the price of bitcoin continued to fall, and now it's only about $7,100. But I still believe in bitcoin, and I'm not worried that it will cause a lot of damage to me, because I use the money that i earn  invested in the bitcoin, and I believe it will return to the highest point.

As far as I can observe being a teacher, I am definitely happy that my students are involve in cryptocurrencies and they earn for themselves and help their families. But, their school perfomance is getting worse. Please give your thoughts how will you help students to earn and at the same time it won't affect their school works?
Yes, I think the main task of students is to learn not to make money, if students spend too much time to do anything about the bitcoin, it will affect their learning, so all the students need to maintain a balance between study and bitcoin

Re: Will Bitcoin loose its popularity?

As we see that bitcoin price is down since last three months but still not reaching to its highest level.
Is bitcoin loose its popularity ?
I don't think bitcoin's price decline has a lot to do with the popularity of bitcoin. Now the price of bitcoin is falling, but I think it's becoming more and more popular. Now more countries accept bitcoins, more people are involved in bitcoin, and its development is getting better and better.

Re: Bitcoin is better than gold
by
Michellekking
on 06/04/2018, 15:44:53 UTC
From an investment point of view, bitcoin is more about gold than it is about other currencies. That's because as an asset, bitcoin and gold have a lot in common. Both are limited to supply, both have functions to use, and many believe that, despite their large price fluctuations, they remain a good store of value. Compared to gold and currency investment returns in the past five years, the currency's performance is far better than the so-called precious metals, gold year loss than 6%, the currency of the annualized rate of return is 155%. These rich returns show that bitcoin has excited investors about the prospect of putting money into such a new asset class.

Compared with the gold standard, the value of the currency rising and proven performance, investors can be used to measure the investment of the world's leading digital currency future opportunity and risk indicators.
Why do you think bitcoin is better than gold? Not everyone agrees that the value of gold has been recognised by all countries in the world, and bitcoin has been recognized by a small number of governments. The price of gold has been stable, and the price of bitcoin has not been stable.

i'm interested in all perspectives
thanks
Six months ago, I started to invest in bitcoin. I bought bitcoin on the exchange, and I got a lot of revenue through continuous trading. I think it's easy to make money through bitcoin. But in the past two months, the price of bitcoin has been falling, and I've lost a lot of money. I don't trade bitcoin anymore. I keep it. I'm now making some money to do some bounty.

I joined this market a few months, I also lost a little money. Now I want to have a bigger plan by selling my house to 100% participation in this market. What do you think?
You think I will have another house or I will become homeless  Grin Cheesy Grin
I don't agree with you. You choose to sell your house and invest in bitcoin, which will bring you a lot of risk. When the bitcoin to us $5000 a good buying opportunity, I also will choose to buy bitcoin , but I will not use this way to participate in the bitcoin , it is gambling, if failed, you would be disastrous

Re: Ways to improve Bitcoin Community
by
Michellekking
on 05/04/2018, 13:31:08 UTC
Lets give our own opinions in this thread and let's see what are the visions of any users here on forum on what are the things than can affect bitcoin community and value to improve more Wink

So i'm the maker of this thread i'm the first who gives opinion here.
My opinions are:
- Spreading good informations about bitcoin can make it improve.
- If big business will accepts bitcoin or enter bitcoin industry can improve our community because the more investors the more blessings to come Smiley
- Helping newbie investors to prevent scams can help our community because if they see bitcoin in their first invest are scam they would lose their trust in this kind of investment so as soon as possible help newbies to start in bitcoin journey.

These are my opinions on how to improve Bitcoin community so what's yours? Wink
I think there is only a very small amount of understanding of bitcoin, and we need to continue to promote it better and let more people know about it. We can let more people know about bitcoin through TV ads and some social media.

Re: Will Bitcoin be replaced by another cryptocurrency?
by
Michellekking
on 04/04/2018, 17:26:36 UTC
Does it make sense to believe that Bitcoin could one day be replaced by another cryptocurrency, that is, a cryptocurrency that really does make Bitcoin obsolete?
There are a lot of good altcoins now. They have technically outstripped bitcoin, but they have not replaced bitcoin as the king of all cryptocurrencies. I don't think there will be a cryptographic currency in the short term that will replace bitcoin.

Re: Do you think digital currency will ever replace paper money?
by
Michellekking
on 04/04/2018, 15:35:03 UTC
Personally I say yes as our society becomes increasingly dependent upon technology, digital currency will become a more popular means of paying for different things and it is more effective and instant. I haven't used much physical money in the past 8 years and I rarely had any problems with that.

What do you guys think? Wink
I don't think digital money will replace paper money. Digital money is now accepted and widely used in some countries around the world. But it has a lot of flaws, it needs the Internet, and I don't think people around the world are using the Internet, which will make it impossible for him to replace paper money.

Re: Government Will Use Blockchain But Crypto Currencies Will be Ignored?
by
Michellekking
on 04/04/2018, 08:22:00 UTC
Since many years bitcoin lurking around the blockchain which is nothing but its boundary. However both of them are still different and we can choose from them.

BLOCK-CHAIN : Is self sustaining platform, decentralised one and if you want to use it then you are free to do so. Taking that into consideration great smart contracts were produced already such ETH on which different ICO projects are now being evolved.

BITCOIN : Just an algorithm or contract that runs on the BLOCK-CHAIN for its own existence and is valued separately depending upon the demand-supply and investments that are being made into it. It is more or less helpful in different applications such as transactions, storing the value, and all the processes of investing it and growing your earnings. This comes when the end user is going to use it. This all happens over the block-chain itself.

Now reading the title one more time :
Quote
Government Will Use Blockchain But Crypto Currencies Will be Ignored?

We always keep reading that
  • Government is going to BAN the crypto currencies/Bitcoin.
  • Government is not able to understand the useful aspects of this New-Technology (Referring to Blockchain)
  • Government will never regulate the block-chain and thus they will turn it into centralised one etc.

But do we really need to ask such questions ?
Do you guys really think government will ever care about the Bitcoin if they started exploring the applications of Block-Chain and just ignore the crypto currencies?
Its decentralised thing, we can use it freely then obviously Government can do the same too?
They can manage to create whole new world of crypto's or may be gov-crypto's and may spread the word about it, ignoring the existence of whole crypto currency that we see today?
Have you guys ever had such questions on your mind? How do you propose this matter in long terms?
Yes, the blockchain is a technology, and the cryptocurrency, led by bitcoin, is just a token created to support these technologies. So the government is not against blockchain technology, and they are against the idea of using blockchain technology as a cover for money.

Re: How do you deal with friends/family when they lose their investment?
by
Michellekking
on 03/04/2018, 19:46:18 UTC
If you tell your friends and family about Bitcoin without giving them any sort of in-depth financial advice and they go ahead and invest, how do you deal with it when the market dips very low and they silently blame you for losing them money.
I don't think it will happen to me. But my price and my friends asked me some questions about bitcoin, and I always told them that the price of bitcoin was not stable, and that investing in bitcoins would be risky. So when you persuade your family and friends to invest in bitcoin, you win and say that investing in bitcoin is risky.

Re: Are We Dead Without China?
by
Michellekking
on 03/04/2018, 18:25:37 UTC
China has become the powerhouse for Bitcoin (and the whole cryptocurrency in general) as it is hosting many Bitcoin miners due to cheaper electricity and maybe also cheap labors. China also boasts of probably millions of Bitcoin owners and traders who are influencing the moves of the market on day to-day basis. As far as acceptance of Bitcoin in China, it is comfortably good until such time when the government decided that it is time to intervene.

In general, the Chinese government is not comfortable with Bitcoin as it indeed representing a different currency that they can not control with. since Bitcoin is decentralized it would be hard for the government to make interventions and so they are thinking that maybe it is time to ban it altogether. The government can not kill Bitcoin but what they are doing is actually closing the country as a market for Bitcoin.

So the question is: Can Bitcoin survive without China? In case, it can't then then there is something wrong with it since it is not resilient to ride the big storm it is in.
I don't think bitcoin can survive without China. Now that bitcoin is circulating around the world, it doesn't just circulate in China, it doesn't die because of a country. If China completely bans bitcoin, the entire encryption market will be hit hard, but it will not lead to death.

Re: Bitcoin is back to 7k$ , bitcoin is rising again!
by
Michellekking
on 03/04/2018, 10:40:54 UTC
If we look at the chart bitcoin have started to rise up again. It fell into the dip at 6200$ and now it has climb up again to 7k$. Despite the news of closing of exchanges on Japan and India the community are having smiles on their face when they see bitcoin climbing up again. Possibly this is due to the good news being circulated around about the new development in bitcoin. All spirits are alive maybe this is the sign we are looking for.

Is this the sign we are looking for or this is just temporary?
Yes, the bitcoin began to recover, when I was in the bitcoin us $6500 to buy a bit, I think it will also continue to rise, now the price of the bitcoin  hit $7200, and in two weeks, the price of the bitcoin  is expected to return to $12000.

Re: teach your children about bitcoin

on 01/04/2018, 17:49:58 UTC
hello guys , i just want to share what am i doing right now to my children, i have a 10 year old kid , he is david . this coming summer i want to teach him about cryptocurrency. especially bitcoin, from his young age i want to share him my knowledge about this kind of things. im happy that he is excited a little bit however it's so hard to explain but then i use some examples like video games as a reference about bitcoin. probably it might be the easiet way to understand how this things works. for example bitcoin is like a video games, you need to do a lot of research about bitcoin to know it and ask some people what  they know about bitcoin or  like experiences  , like games you need to do a lot of practice to mastered the games , can someone help me about this ?
I think this is a good idea, when he was young taught him knowledge about the bitcoin can make him better participate in the bitcoin in the future, I think the bitcoin in the future will be more and more popular all over the world, but your child at the age of 10 does not need to spend too much time learning the knowledge of the bitcoin, he should spend more time to study and play

Breaking news!

ICO is officially banned in China!

Here is the joint announcement from The People 's Bank of China, Central Network Office, Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, State Administration for Industry and Commerce, China Banking Regulatory Commission, SFC, CIRC: http://www.pbc.gov.cn/goutongjiaoliu/113456/113469/3374222/index.html

-----------------------------

Yes, the Chinese government has now banned ico, which is not allowed in China. Because many fraudsters have cheated many people through ico, and the money is hard to get back, the government has chosen to ban ico for such a thing.

Bitcoin right now keeps on increasing its value, and many more cryptocurrencies are occurring.
Do you think someday bitcoin will end or will be replace by other cryptocurrencies?

Is it too late to invest?
Is there a chance that bitcoin will be down?
Don't worry about the end of bitcoin. What you should do now is add it to the bitcoins as soon as possible and don't hesitate. Now that the price of bitcoin has fallen, I think it's about to stop falling and start to recover, and now it's a good investment opportunity.

Bitcoin is being used widely in porn sites, gambling and drug dealing sectors. Is that why the btc made for ? I have seen a lot of members in this forum discussing about buying drugs, gambling and enjoying porn with bitcoin. Is not it a misuse of a currency ? Block chain tech is a awesome tech and btc is getting popular. I hate these misuses of precious btc. It hurts me. This will lead into unhealthy society along with unhealthy future generation.
Because of the anonymity and decentralization of bitcoin, some criminals like to use bitcoin as a means of payment, so they won't know who is using bitcoin for crime. Now, as a way of investing, many people invest in bitcoin, and they gain a lot of money.

Very volatile still but trend continues down.

Is the drop in the price of bitcoin good news? I don't think so, people lost a lot of money here, I don't see the currency of the price dropped to $6000, is now the currency of the price is $6700, you are wrong the price of the bitcoin

I remembered watching a video about bitcoins and the simple information that a beginner can understand. It says that bitcoin only has the maximum of 21 million bitcoins and 17 or 18 million has been mined.

What would happen if the very last block were mined? Will the value of bitcoin finally be stabilized?
I don't think the price of bitcoin will settle down. Now that bitcoin is being used as an investment commodity, people are buying and selling it at any time, and its price varies with supply and demand, so its price is unstable.

Re: Will the price of cryptos increase in future?
by
Michellekking
on 29/03/2018, 21:05:34 UTC
I think everyone in this forum is looking forward to btc's technological advance, which currently going on is the lightning network.
The price of cryptos including btc is now falling gradually and radically, and now is almost half price of it was in few months ago. (recently mostly according on g20 conference.)

Do you think it might be possible for cryptos to find their own price back if a huge technological advance is found/developed on them? But what if the regulation on cryptos get harsh?
I do know for sure that the concept of blockchain will not just vanish and everyone is hoping to bring/apply it in real-life, but the it seems quite true that at least in currency issue, a cooperate from central governments must be needed.
I think the price of the password will recover soon. I looked back at the history of these cryptographic currency prices, and I found that the rise and fall of prices was normal, not because prices were going to die, so the price of these passwords would increase in the future.
