The new beta version is finally ready. You can download PhoenixMiner 5.7a from here:

PhoenixMiner_5.7a_Windows.zip (GitHub)
PhoenixMiner_5.7a_Linux.tar.gz (GitHub)

The new features in this release are:

  • Added lock core clock
  • The problem with the missing GPU temperatures on Nvidia GPUs is fixed
  • Added native kernels for AMD RX6700 GPUs. These are faster than the generic kernels and produce a lot less stale shares
  • Increase the max supported DAG epoch to 550 (should be enough to about Jan 2023)
  • Full support for setting clocks, fan speeds, voltages, and memory timings of AMD RX6900/6800/6700 cards
  • The specific hashrate is now shown in the form of kilo hashes per joule (kH/J). Example: if a GPU has hashrate of 30 MH/s with 100W power usage, the specific hashrate is 300 kH/J
  • Added new command-line parameters -ttj and -ttmem, allowing automatic fan speed control based on GPU hotspot (junction), and memory temperatures respectively. Example: -ttmem 83 will keep the GPU memory temperature at or bellow 83C by increasing the fan speed as necessary. These parameters can be combined with -tt, as well as with each other. These options are supported only on AMD GPUs that report junction and memory temperatures
  • Added new command-line parameters -tmaxj and -tmaxmem, allowing to decrease the GPU usage when the GPU hotspot (junction), or GPU memory temperatures are above the specified thresholds. These options are supported only on AMD GPUs that report junction and memory temperatures
  • Added support for AMD Windows drivers 21.3.2, and 21.3.1
  • Added support for AMD Linux drivers 20.50.x. Use this drivers only if you have Polaris or older GPUs, or the latest RX6x000 GPUs. WARNING: Vega, Radeon VII, and Navi GPUs won't work with these drivers!
  • Turn off the zero fan feature on AMD cards whenever a fixed fan speed is used (e.g. -tt -40), or when an auto fan with min fan speed is used (e.g. -tt 63 -minfan 35). To disable this feature, add -fanstop 1 command-line parameter
  • When -mcdag 1 is specified under Linux, the miner will not wait for the daggen.sh script to finish before starting to generate the DAGs. Instead it will for a fixed 7 seconds. This allows you to do all the following in the daggen.sh: turn off the overclocking of Nvidia GPUs, sleep for 30-60 seconds to allow time for DAG generation, and then re-apply the overclocking of the Nvidia GPUs
  • Other small improvements and fixes

The support for -ttj, -ttmem, -tmaxj, and -tmaxmem for Nvidia 3090 and 3080 GPUs is not yet ready for release. We hope to have it ready for the final 5.7 release.

For more robust integrity check, you can use our GPG public key, which was verifyed with ETH transaction from our main devfee account as explained here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2647654.msg56755869#msg56755869.

Please let us know if you have any problems or questions related to PhoenixMiner 5.7a.

ASIC A3 only make a little under 10$ per day  right now and ROI has come from 1-2 months to the whole year with power price included, not worth it

Starting trading with a small amount is the best thing since experience is lacked in this case. You could try bittrex exchange since most of new coins are listed there.

good advice, but remember you will have to loose some to gain some

Mining now with an A3 sucks balls, 1500-1600 SC per day, $30 bucks basically. Hard to justify the price, hard to even reach break even.

One would need to really believe Siacoin will appreciate A LOT.

why would be 30$ a day bad? its really good income if you ask me

Wait for next batch.. It will be 12-15$ per day, just like with GPUs

its still good eventually they will become obsolete like any other machinery

I'm new to Claymore and have been using v11. If this new version doesn't appear to benefit me, is there a point in updating? Or am I safe just sticking with what's working for me?

Looking just for the release notes of the new version, I didn’t update too. I don’t think 11.1 have any thing to improve mine performance

what exactly do you mean by the mining performance?

Even if you had a lot of money I'd suggest to start with little sums, as the possibility to lose everything is very high.
Only when you'll have more experience you can start to put something more on the table, not before.

i agree with that, start small, learn while you are doing it because i assure you, you will loose some $$ on the long run

🔶The triangle was knocked down, which still confirms the fact that there is a bearish trend in the market, but the "inverted hammer" candle indicates that this level can become a starting point for an upward movement.

🔶 The level of 500 was upheld and all those who listened to my recommendation to issue their orders in the range of 500 to 750 earned from 20 to 40% of the profit during 5 days.

🔶Now the price is likely to go into the flat and will move in the corridor from 400 to 800, where we can still quite well earn if you correctly place your orders for purchase and sale.

🔶The price chart has moved below 200 EMA and as long as the chart is below this level, the bearish trend will continue and this level will enter resistance.

🔶MACD shows mixed signals, but in the short term there are signals about purchases.

🔶The main indicator that will now be the most important is the volume, with the increase of which it will be clear where the price will subsequently move, if the price will fall with the increase in volumes, then the drop will continue, and if the purchases prevail, then quite good growth will be possible.

🔶 Support level 700;
🔶 Level of resistance 1000;
🔶 Orders for the purchase of 500-600;
🔶 Orders for sale 900.

yeah, that will work maybe on a long run and if btc stays solid or it goes sideways

Hello guys, i'm thinking about buy 3 antminer A3. Problems are: they will be ship around the end of march (i mean, if they don't scam me...) and the difficult will be higher for that time.
If you were in me, will you do it? If not, why?
I still haven't bought anything, but planning to do it.

Any help and answer is VERY welcome, thanks
As far as I know bitmain is going to release ASIC ethereum miner. So I think this will be the next something like "sia attack". Ether with asic can have a great profit. (P.S I don't know that fact 100% sure, just heared here in some topics). If that's real, I think it worths to wait and put all money/effort in it.
On another hand would buy baikal giant miners if they are in stock or possible to buy.

ETH miners are already out, at least some people call them asics anyway.
Baikal are very expensive.

I am doing the same. Using igpu.
It works with teamviewer but not windows rdp.

has this been solved yet i have the same issue

Hi
i have the same struggle since a few weeks. I am checking the SIA calculator daily.

At the moment it still looks pretty good. Even if the ROI will increase double its still best to mine.
BTC with the A9 is waste of energy. T9 is waste of even thinking about it. Ether GPU mining is to much work to onboard maintain and the availability of the GPUs is bad.
Also the ROI on Ether is not that grate.
I am mining at the moment Verium and even this is waste of time. Same goes for Burst.

If we would receive the miner end of march and the average profit per Month would be around 500$ you would be ROI in about 2 1/2 months which is still better than every other coin ROI calculation.

The main prob with Antminer, when will u get your miner, what happen if it broke ( this will take weeks to ship it back and return) and what happen if it will be the next D3. You will not be able to sell it. GPUS will be possible to sell all time long.

Hope I could help you.
A3 still available!

this is all true, but that is the risk people are willing to take when they are buying miners like this. I think people who bought D3 are not buying A3 right now, because most of them will never see ROI.
Also if you were mining with D3 when DASH was at 1,5k i think it want that bad at all.

Is this project abandoned?
Masternode is not compensating.

The masternodes (goldminenodes) do still work if you have set them up correctly. The issue is that they reward only $6 a year, so not worth running. Even if the coin price jumps x 10, a $60 a year masternode is still not worth running imho!

Price won't jump much anyway as dev team, if they exist, don't deliver.

Join their Discord and see how active they aren't!!  Cry

C.

this thing is still going on, i didnt expect it to last
