Like a lot of people I'm both fascinated and almost obsessed with bitcoin - be it the news, price, etc. I thought it would be cool to have a thread devoted to tracking the global spread of businesses related to bitcoin. For example, each week another country like Indonesia or Singapore is announcing the launch of an exchange. Businesses like Bitpesa in Kenya, Monero in Latin America are picking up. Bitpay is growing by leaps and bounds. It would be good to discuss the entrepreneurial efforts of businesses (domestic and international) to grow Bitcoin into an industry standard. (I'll still go over to the Wall Observer). The overall success of bitcoin start ups will be key drivers for worldwide adoption and awareness. Which new start ups should we keep an eye on? Which is growing the fastest to perhaps have an IPO? Or which start up might be merged or acquired?
And some countries even have considered bitcoin illegal and banned it from using to their nationals

What would you expect to happen otherwise? If no one would be rich then who you compensate you for your work? And if everybody's rich who would work? It's a circle which by anyone's effort isn't possible to turn Square
When we have a proper strategy and good budget to spend on you can make a decent profit out of it.But recommendation is you get onto some fresh alts and join the pump and dump game. You would surely make a profit more than expected and then you convert the alts to bitcoin while you earn profit.Just don't hold onto alts for very long,do what you have to do to make a profit and then just GTFO
This is somewhat legit, but to make the real, big gains with the alt game you need balls to hold longer than you would expect. Like it has been said before, big gains from DRK and Blackcoin, came from guys that held the coins for 1+ month at least. I also think Monero is worth holding long term. Other than these, yes, the rest are most likely P&D shitscams.
Holding onto some alts just turn out to be P&D fuck.So so I think in the alt game you better go for the shit real quick and turn it back to Bitcoin asap

This would be like a application such as Bitcoin core. You install a client the point to certain network location then you could be able to browse the Openbazaar.Or would just be like typical browsing through the internet?

Many people as well as me use a multibit wallet. It's decentralized and open source as well.Make very possible security to your wallet available from your side like backup ,firewalls, antivirus ,paper wallets and many more along.

While you are in some other mood you don't know you are being phissed.Sorry to hear your loss
Hello, I'm just interested if is it possible or there is some catch. I see that price of BTC on stocks is different (of course) but the difference is big enough to make money with just buying on one stock and selling on the other one. So my Q is what's the catch? I already checked fees and still it's should be ok.
I've never trade BTC (yet) so correct me if I'm wrong or there is only classic risks like falling price..
What's weird is that I'm supposed to have 0.03+ BTC
What's REALLY weird is that I do, but every time I make a transaction, it sort of "refreshes" my final balance, meaning I can spend more than 0.03 BTC, but it SHOWS I have 0.02,
Blockchain final balance is what you might be talking about? That doesn't matters you will get bitcoin onto your client and are spendable after certain confirmations on the network
Anyone here knows what should I pay if I hire someone to write 400 word article about a sports site? Is 0.01 BTC enough or is it a little bit high for that? What do you think? If I do it per month, how much should I pay?

0.01 Bitcoin equals 4.86 US Dollar
