Re: I don't want to buy cheap bitcoins, I want to buy expensive ones

I wonder when will people finally learn it?  Undecided

Only when they develop their own trading or investment strategy. A person without a strategy is just a part of the crowd that repeats after the rest.

These kind of people do not know about the cycle, they do not know that BTC has a history behind it that repeats itself, but they only know BTC's value can increase and that is what their interest is, that's why they are never interested in winter periods but bull periods only, it is the same in any other field, you can only know what you take out your time to learn and understand. The people who understand the history and cycle are those that have made their research on it, and afterwards experienced it with the knowledge they have, this kind of knowledge is what get rich quick investors do not have, that's why they invest only when it is fomo time.

Most likely, the majority are not interested in the structure of markets at all, but act on the basis of a herd instinct. Everyone buys - and I will buy. Nobody buys - and I won't buy.

I totally agree with you that many people are not masters of their own minds. Many people do not have their own knowledge of Bitcoin and are not interested in in-depth research. I have seen such a person, he does not know much, but he can say a few words. When there is no topic to talk about, the most talked about is the price. In fact, what he cares about is not only the price, but also the people who are in the same situation as him. Even when the price has dropped a lot, what he is looking for is comfort and a little self-anaesthesia in his heart.

Re: Learn to laugh even if Bitcoin is crashing

It’s their turn to laugh at us HODLers after many months of laughing at them. But most importantly, learn to laugh at yourself. It relieves stress. Cool

Peter Schiff = 1, Anthony Pompliano = 0. Hahaha good joke.

Now that #Bitcoin  is back below $50k I think it's time for @APompliano to tweet out $1k milestones on the way down the way he did on the way up.

This is actually very difficult. It may be expected in my heart, but when the real thing happens, my chest feels stuffy. Of course, for long-term holders, they have fully adapted, and perhaps this situation does not exist.

You can do some experiments when you pay. In many cases, using Lightning for large transactions is actually not cost-effective. Everything needs to be practiced. If you don't try it, how can you know the result.

Re: Can Machine Learning truly predict Bitcoin's price?

Robot prediction is to give a rough analysis based on the price trend, but it cannot predict what accidents will happen. It may be more convenient to use robots in stablecoins. Do not use robots for hype coins. The robot and our artificial analysis should be the same.

Re: How does the scammer companies earn through bitcoin ?

There is no free lunch in the world. Don't lose your money because of greed. Before Bitcoin they may have exchanged a small amount of U.S. dollars for many U.S. dollars. This kind of deception is very common, don't be fooled out of curiosity. And don’t believe that watching some videos will give you other cryptocurrencies, they just want you to download software to give you worthless coins.

Whenever is the time for permutation and combination, you may only look at price fluctuations or trends in the previous time period, but also look at future market trends. Otherwise, in a few years you will regret that you are just waiting and watching now. Now that more and more people have noticed cryptocurrency, I don't think the price of cryptocurrency will become lower and lower in the future. I will wait for the opportunity and don't want to miss any opportunities.

Re: I think Ethereum is more dynamic than bitcoin
by
Mikayla Buckley
on 15/09/2021, 09:02:14 UTC
Ethereum and Bitcoin are on par after several years of development.
Bitcoin and Ethereum have different purposes. Although Bitcoin was originally used as a substitute for conventional currency when it was first created, it is also a medium of payment transactions and a means of storing value. But Ethereum was developed as a platform so that it can facilitate P2P transactions and applications through its own currency tools.
Investing in Bitcoin is because of stability, and people who lack risk will give priority to investing in Bitcoin. The development of Ethereum is indeed comparable to Bitcoin. If your economy permits, you can buy both at the same time.

Re: Dead Coins
by
Mikayla Buckley
on 15/09/2021, 08:41:20 UTC
Do you hold any dead coins?

'Dead Coins refer to cryptocurrencies that have been abandoned, used as scam, their website is down, has no nodes, has wallet issues, doesn't have social updates, has low volume or developers have walked away from the project.'

How should we manage dead coins?
I think there is no hope for dead coins or someone loses liquidity. Why? Cause nothing we could salvage from it. It will served as a trash on our wallet and nothing we can do about that. Plenty of projects I have grom airdrops and bounty are just stuck on my wallet and just displayed without any use. I dont want to change my wallet since its a long time used of mine but this has a sentimental already for me and even its full of shitcoin its a remember that there are too many projects becoming dead once in a while.
There are many coins with no value. My investment concept is relatively conservative. I will choose to hold them for a long time, but this also has disadvantages. For example, the coins in my hand are slowly dying after being held for a long time, and there are still many coins that are worthless. I don't care about coins that have died. I want to take a moment to manage the worthless coins. Put them in unused wallets. May still dream of resurrection.

Re: How to Influence the Bitcoin Market

If everyone is aware of market fluctuations, then everyone is a rich person.
What affects the market is people's buying and selling of Bitcoin. You may trust the suggestions of some well-known people. Some news will also be relevant to the market trend of Bitcoin.

Re: Why are decentralized exchanges better than centralized exchanges for crypto?
by
Mikayla Buckley
on 15/09/2021, 06:33:52 UTC
Both decentralized and centralized exchanges have their own advantages and disadvantages.
Decentralized exchanges are mainly about security, allowing users to control their assets in their own hands, but correspondingly, they are lacking in efficiency and user experience.
Although centralized exchanges have experienced security incidents such as currency theft and loss, because the user experience of decentralized exchanges is not friendly enough, some people still use centralized exchanges.

Litecoin has been developing steadily in recent years. Some time ago, Elon Musk's disruption to the market did not stop the development of Litecoin.
I am very optimistic about Litecoin. It has great potential. And its transaction fees are very low. It will develop steadily like Bitcoin.

Re: Reasons why government would like to ban Bitcoin?
by
Mikayla Buckley
on 14/09/2021, 06:59:07 UTC
The Sharia LAW of Muslim countries I guess. This had been discussed in the forum for a while I see no reason for the Bitcoin ban this time since it's been regulated already. China use to ban Bitcoin but it had changed now.

Most countries will just follow what US is doing so if US isn't banning BTC, it's likely not going to be banned also to most countries.
Bitcoin is a virtual payment system that is not controlled or regulated by any central government or private institution. Participants in the Bitcoin system can easily hide their identities, and the government cannot control the domestic economy. Many criminals commit crimes through anonymity (money laundering).

You can read the opinions of all of us, but don't listen to it completely or learn how to control the market. The top coins are all pretty good now. Don't choose to invest if you don't understand the hype currency.

Re: Bitcoin or altcoins
by
Mikayla Buckley
on 11/09/2021, 09:54:36 UTC
I have been watching this market for a long time.

It seems that in the early part of a bull market, Bitcoin goes up faster than altcoins (ie Bitcoin dominance goes up.)  In the late part of a bull market, Bitcoin still goes up but altcoins go up even better (ie Bitcoin dominance goes down.)

In a bear market, altcoins fall faster than Bitcoin (ie Bitcoin dominance recovers somewhat but has to wait for the next bull market to go really high.)

So, it would seem the correct play is to buy altcoins at this point, and then convert them into Bitcoin (or sell) when you see the bull market ending?

Any thoughts?

[I used to post as BobK71, and am using a new account after some logistical mixup.]
Whether investing in Bitcoin or altcoins, you must learn to analyze market trends. Many people choose to invest in Bitcoin because Bitcoin is worth investing in and it is relatively stable. Most altcoins will also change with the trend of Bitcoin.
It is recommended to invest in Bitcoin. To understand the market conditions, you can choose to invest in altcoins.
Both can be very profitable.

Re: Shall We Hold Our Bitcoin Like Gollum?

Everyone can hold Bitcoin. The unit of Bitcoin is small. Even if your investment is only a small amount each time, the accumulation will become a lot.
Bitcoin will not sell out. He will continue to buy and sell. The value will get higher and higher. Bitcoin is also legalized in many countries and can be paid or invested.

Some people think that every price drop is an opportunity. This is indeed correct.
But don't choose meme coins. There are a lot of coins on the market now.
Many coins went to death. Stop the loss in time when the price keeps falling.

Some well-known people's comments on cryptocurrency will have an impact on cryptocurrency. But it only affects for a short period of time, not long-term.
There is a lot of news about cryptocurrency which is a good thing for cryptocurrency.
Whether it is good news or negative news. After arousing some people's curiosity, some people will understand cryptocurrency.
Nothing is perfect.

The first choice is Bitcoin. Will do short-term altcoins.
Long-term Bitcoin is king.
You can match the investment plan according to your own money. Don't invest all your money. It is recommended that you invest a quarter of your salary each time.

Re: If bitcoin go high the poor will not participate
by

It's actually a wrong perception, people invest according to what there have as capital.
No matter how high the price of Bitcoin is. There will be people of different classes making investments.
As long as you have investment experience, you will invest in Bitcoin.
The poor do not invest in Bitcoin because they do not understand Bitcoin. Even if you have a small amount of money, you can invest in Bitcoin.

Re: Why should other countries did not accept Bitcoins?
by
Mikayla Buckley
on 03/09/2021, 07:38:42 UTC
Every country definitely wants to promote its own currency.
Small countries only want to get rid of the control of big countries to use Bitcoin as their currency.
As a large country, the United States has not set Bitcoin as a legal tender, indicating that the United States still wants to use the U.S. dollar as a benchmark against the world currency.
The anonymity of Bitcoin can protect everyone's privacy. Bitcoin makes our consumption free, but the country has to control its own economy, which will destroy the anonymity of Bitcoin.
