I sold it Huh
Why?! What is the reason?  Shocked
The price will jump quickly after they hit Bittrex.

She looks. expensive
Anyway, you tripled your ICO investments I suppose.
I expect the price should easily go to 0.0033 in the first Bittrex day.

When is the first Bittrex day? Has Bittrex already stated it will be listing mysterium?

Halving the stake reward maybe? I know it's been mentioned before.

I figured it out.  Just typed in threshold limits on command line, super easy.

On another note the blockchain doesn't seem to be synchronizing.  I'm doing it over wifi, not sure if that's an issue.  Seems to be stuck at 3 years 310 days.  How long should it take?  AM I doing something wrong?

Try downloading and using a zipped blockchain. It won't be three years behind, it will probably be a few months behind instead.

http://108.61.216.160/cryptochainer.chains/chains/HoboNickels_blockchain.zip

After I download it, do I need to do anything specific with it?  Thanks!

Unzip it and put the contents of the unzipped folder in the HoboNickels folder inside appdata\Roaming, Appdata is a folder that's hidden by default in windows. To see it you have to go to appearance and personalisation in the windows settings,  select folder options, then select "show hidden files, folder or drives".

You can find your HoboNickels folder in appdata at

C:\Users\\AppData\Roaming\HoboNickels

where is your windows username.

is there any plan on development of this, or its just another coin?

There should be, the dev should be planning to remove all the viruses from the wallet. If he doesn't this coin's already dead.

Re: Altcoin Source Code Analysis?
by
Mike Hunt
on 21/01/2017, 18:10:45 UTC
There is a guy running pools called ocminer who reviews any coin's source code that he's considering adding to a pool. He frequently makes posts about anything dodgy in a new coin's code. He would probably take payment for deeper source code analysis than the analysis he often provides for nothing.

The sourcecode is available for everyone here:
https://github.com/ocminer/ccminer-spreadcoin-pool-public

All the "magic" is i'm encrypting miner traffic over https instead of using plaintext http..

So I was basically doing 2 years ago what claymore does now with his miners - encrypting traffic between miner and pool. Of course I cannot giveaway the encryption key because it's the key that secures the connection Smiley

Hmm, are those walletbuilders created / compiled wallets?

Edit: Those indeed are walletbuilders created wallets...  Roll Eyes

The premine is huge and using walletbuilders proves that you're not able to clone a coin yourself which should be the minimum for anyone launching a coin. You won't be able to fix when forks will happen etc..

Biggest WTF: only 100 PoW blocks?!? Either you have a trojan in the wallet or you want to turn your ridiculous 19% premine into an effective 99%.

lol

https://github.com/Bartholomew32/stc-source/blob/master/src/main.h#L31

True.. 100 Blocks

https://github.com/Bartholomew32/stc-source/blob/master/src/main.h#L50

Has nothing todo with the max supply.. The dev has no clue what he's talking about..

https://github.com/Bartholomew32/stc-source/blob/master/src/main.cpp#L1004-L1008

Nice premine.. and only 100 x 600 coins for the miners Smiley wow

https://github.com/Bartholomew32/stc-source/blob/master/src/main.cpp#L2541

Aahh, now thats a nice genesis block description.. Smiley

Hmm, maybe you want to also tell miners about the premine:

https://github.com/Wozniakdev/Wozniak/blob/master/src/main.cpp#L988-L991

    "moneysupply" : 303144900.00000000,

So your statement about:
Total approx potential coins from POW: 565,000,

Is not fully true Smiley

have sold some btc. it was a sacrifice for my fellow forum members.

price may explode now.

The fed raised its interest rate by 0.25% today as expected. That might make the price explode. The news will take 24 hours to hit the whole world. Lets's see what China makes of it when it wakes up in 4 hours.

Mats problem is that he is stuck on the idea that the only right way to make money is to daytrade. Realizing that he sucks at it, he doubles down and loses even harder.

Meanwhile I just made a hundred bucks in two minutes by buying on localbitcoins and immediately reselling on kraken. There are plenty of ways to make things work for the open minded.
In-person or purely online?
I always deal in cash in person, on principle. I want as little middleman involvement as possible (banks, other third parties) and I don't like "paper trails". Personal privacy is one of my big issues.

Bitcoinity shows bitcoins sell through localbitcoins for higher prices than exchanges. Wouldn't buying on exchanges to sell on localbitcoins be profitable, and vice versa be unprofitable? These are the latest prices bitcoinity shows for the kraken and localbitcoins.

http://bitcoinity.org/markets/kraken/USD = selling at $782.0 and buying at $782.1

http://bitcoinity.org/markets/localbitcoins/USD = selling at $881.8 and buying at $1114

How can you make profit buying on localbitcoins at between $881.8 and $1114, then immediately reselling on kraken at between $782.0 and $782.1?

edit

Bitcoinity shows today's localbitcoins 24 hour high was $2581, and its low was $343.1. Is that how you do it?

I never imagined the prices were so volatile on localbitcoins.

Re: [ANN][CROWDSALE IS ON] NODIO. A first blockchain router | 10% Bonus

So they raised 106.1025 BTC - which means NODIO company is now worth 1060.1025 BTC.

Does anyone have the BTC escrow address for the funds to see if its already moved to some other accounts?

globalbtc21 - how did you receive your tokens? which wallet you use?

I don't think there was an escrow. The dev talked about adding an escrow long after he had started collecting donations.

we don't see much trouble in adding escrow halfway trough a crowdsale.

SebastianJu denied he was the escrow after the dev claimed he was using him.

I have to say that Iam not happy about what happens here. I see it is claimed that Iam the escrow.

It's true that apriyoni asked me about escrowing, but only 3 days ago. After I found that he runs his ICO, or crowdfund, already half a month I asked about that since of course this is strange. I did not get an answer from him even though he was online often and writes here. So I have to assume that this is something fishy and that there is no plan to send the already invested coins to an escrow address.

That he claims in this thread that Iam already escrowing is... strange.

i received my token, also talked to the dev he is very trustworthy and a very promising project.

Sorry, but could you show some proof, or tell your "buddy" to come by the thread and let people know a timeframe/next step?

Cause really it's looking like a scam more day by day, the only thing newbie accounts like you do posting what you did w/o evidence of said claims, is make it seem like you have some reason to buy these dudes time (to ditch maybe?)

Proof or GTFO

I don't believe globalbtc21 considering the dev registered on November 20, and was last active two and a half weeks ago on November 24. If the dev was distributing tokens he would have logged into bitcointalk this week.

Hey, please pm me with your link, there is no other 90% of Nods, they are company shares, that represent the 10% of shares. Now we are talking with Bittrex and BitMEX.

I've made request to BITMEX and ask to confirm any talking with Nidio team. Got this message:
Quote
No, we have not agreed to list this product, and even if we did, it is doubtful it would be of any practical utility to the project, as we only list derivatives, we do not do spot trading.
Best,
Samuel Reed
CTO
BitMEX
Op never said Bitmex agreed to list Nodio. All he said was that they were in talk with them

This might end up in yobit.

At 106 BTC - that means the Nodio company is now worth 1060 BTC (10% of company's value is sold into this ICO). How could it be worth 1060 BTC?

its "Crypto-worth" 1060BTC ;p
meaning:  INflated self-assessed worth, mostly based off the companies OWN evaluation, and what the IDEA could be worth IF successful ;p

Is there an online government register the company is registered on? Most legit companies are in a register and I would like to do my due diligence and check the Nodio company details before I consider it as a potential investment.
