I think that it depends on the situation of that coin/or that project as a whole if they're making good progress, effort in marketing, or was able to successfully follow their roadmap. Like what others are saying, if the project is not going anywhere, better invest it in BTC or other activities such as gambling if you want to go YOLO or participate in this evolved IEO that lets you buy discounted tokens that are already in an exchange. But if that coin's team members/devs are super active and making good progress as a project as a whole, you might wanna hodl to it a little bit more and enjoy the ride.

Re: IEO can be a safer investment option than ICO

It's always glad to see people inventing things for the better. When ICO's had its downfall several years back, people became wary of fundraising events involving crypto and that's when STO was invented, then IEO. So far, it has satisfied the taste of the community and it became a platform where people can again support legitimate blockchain companies (since they are also vetted by these exchanges) that helps to maintain the network, get low transaction fees and electricity consumption. The top 3 listed exchanges from the OP are all great, some good ones are Liquid and BitMax as well.

Re: We can't blame crypto and blockchain technology
Every tools that was invented or will be invent in the future will be used wrongly, the point people are not getting is every successful invention can be used to do bad things, stop saying cryptocurrency scam is increasing and leaving banks hacks & scams out of it,cell phones & smartphones was build for humans to make communication easier for us but still scammers are using the tech to do terrible things like terrorist attacks, online romance scams etc,my point is no matter how good an invention is bad people will use it for their own benefits.
This is true and good perception towards things and tech as a whole. Blockchain has proven its worth and value since we're seeing tech giants/big companies getting into crypto and use blockchain to improve their system as a whole. This is why I fully support legitimate blockchain projects that help reduce costs of maintaining the networks, transaction fees, and electricity usage. Which in result will help the environment in the long run. But at the same time, there will be people who will always look at crypto in a bad way because of previous experience such as them getting scammed or hearing stories of how it's being used in the black market.
its always good to see projects aiming to help the agriculture industry, something that has not been touched for decades. And its exciting to see blockchain being used and possibly be the solution to some problems.
Libra has raised fears about the future of blockchain mainly because it goes against everything the community wants and believes in: decentralization.
Facebook could ultimately create a massive closed-loop revenue model from ads, digital marketplace, to payments. Do consumers want to bet on the status quo of existing monoliths?
Libra is definitely not the future that can help us get blockchain to the next level. It does help in terms of word of mouth because of Mark and Facebook as a whole, but it doesn't provide the IT factor that will benefit the technology as a whole. I would rather go for startups that are aiming to introduce blockchain technology to different companies and are more decentralized than other projects that are in the space right now. I'm not counting Libra out but it needs to prove its worth to everyone.
Don't get your hopes too high when promoting bounty projects especially bounties with very high allocations like in millions of $$$ ,they are never the same again unlike in the past ,all you have to do now is just depend on yourself and promote good projects and wait for end results.
Good point and this is something that I've been seeing on different social media platforms for a while now. A lot of people are promoting projects due to bounty campaigns but it will never change the fact that its up to the project and team to step it up, and make their promises real. Something that I've been into is this evolved IEO which allows you to buy a token at a private sales-like price if you won their lottery, crazy thing is those tokens are already in the exchanges. Doing your own research about what you're getting into is still key whether what campaign you are gonna participate into.
The market has recovered so much since last year and I think that this is definitely not the end for crypto. There are a lot of offerings that improves over time due to the experience of the community, from ICO, STO, IEO. It will always look for ways to improve the system, similar to an MTO which is less riskier compared to all of those and at the same time, more accessible.
So I see your app has a community section. Is there incentives for the professionals to join??
Optometric Professionals are incentivized to provide answers and solutions raised by the community on the platform. Their effort will be rewarded in tokens. The better the quality of the content, the better the rewards they can receive.
And how will you determine the amount of token an optician receives? Reward pool or something?
