We still a long way from a real ATH, which might be around $80k to $90k accounting for usd inflation.

Bump. masterluc's last post in TradingView.

Does anyone know what masterluc's latest projection on Bitcoin currently is and his latest takes on the market in general? This was his last post in TradingView, https://www.tradingview.com/chart/BTCUSD/zzbhCPLm-Long-term-targets-approaching/

That was posted last October 2, 2021. That's two years ago, and he was always very bullish. Perhaps it's the same bullishness today, but maybe that changed when QT started + Russo-Ukraine War?

an atheist or a nileist.

i am more of an agnostic i am just smart enough to know i simply dont know

For 30 years I have been describing myself as a Confirmed Agnostic.

*this has the added benefit of shutting up any religious arguments before they start.
Agnostics don't have the sacrament of Confirmation.  That's for Catholics.

Whatever investing strategy you settle on, be it lump sum or dollar cost averaging, you´re going to execute it once, not 4000 times or some such.  I haven´t read the posts, just looked at the graphic comparing large samples.  No mention of variance.  Okay, I don´t wanna get in a scrum with people, this seems like a contentious issue, so please don´t adopt my in support of your argument or lambaste me as helping the other side.  I´m going for a walk now.

Good grief.

cAPS decides to stop posting at the BCT idiot forum and suddenly the Monero speculation thread has not had a post for the better part of a month.

C'mon people!

OK... OK... I will give you a bullish bit of info.

I had to reinstall my main OS.  I use Arch Linux.   And to get the regular Monero binaries (GUI and command line) you typically have to go into the "user repository" (AUR).  This means, essentially, that you compile a binary of the program, maintained by a volunteer.  You basically build the program from source. It is not an official package for the distribution.

But behold!

Arch Linux now includes Monero as an official program in the community repository!

Yeah.. this is sort of fringe stuff...  But honestly, it is also quite validating that the best linux distro now includes Monero as an 'official' app!
I´m waiting on delivery of a pinebook pro.  It comes with Manjaro, which is an Arch distro.  Never used Arch before, always vanilla debian stuff like ubuntu or mint.  I´ve led a sheltered life.

All of my friends and me
Wild about
The last of us “serie”
But maaaaaaaaaaaaan that 3th episode fucked up a lot
Fast forwarded through almost the entire episode, not sure that had to do with the story line, if they keep that up wont be watching it anymore.

They just cant help but shove agenda into every fucking thing they touch these days.

If it continues I may just go back to the old days and lose the tv altogether.

Are you going to move to the mountains and write a "manifesto" too?

Asking for a friend.

So ignoring someone shouting crap in my face I don't like is akin to writing a manifesto now?

Well maybe maybe not.

I can list a long line of bs on tv shows that anger me.

I think the one that makes me more angry then anything is Trevor Noah commenting on New York State banning bullet proof vests.

"If you are not up to something nefarious you don't need a bulletproof vest in New York"

I was so pissed off at that statement I wanted the motherfucker to be fired.

and in under 2 months since he said it the motherfucker is gone.

So is this a manifesto? No it is not.

But New York City had over 3000 shootings in 2022 most of the people were victims and not up to anything nefarious at all.

So I am happy to see Trevor no more just for that one single statement of support for banning bulletproof vests in New York.

BTW I own guns and I own bulletproof vests. . So fuck Trevor and Hochel NY states bitch governor.
If bulletproof vests threaten public safety to such a degree that we must pass laws against them, then even police shouldn't wear bulletproof vests.

You can't make this shit up...

BIS General Manager Agustin Carstens opined: “You just cannot defy gravity … At some point, you really have to face the music.”

All jokes aside... I have a feeling they are in the middle of executing a plan to try to kill BTC.  It will be fun to see them lose.

Sure you can defy gravity. Has he never been on a plane before?

We need to start making a list of people who should be ridiculed in the future for criticizing Bitcoin with half-baked knowledge.
Carstens has his own gravitational field.

I haven't even mentioned Monero to him as I still can't get him into bitcoin.

Ha Ha. But he got the message pretty quickly. First he mentioned shitcoin and then Monero. That is quite a fast learning curve.
And the other thing with Bitcoin.... he will also understand soon.

Yeah, he's a "Dumb Roofer" (as he describes himself) that owns many properties now and got a judge disbarred.

He didn't listen to me years ago when I told him to sell his silver and buy bitcoin but he's learning his lesson there. Smiley

Is your dumb roofer named R0ach?

That's Radiy dopomogti.

"Always happy to help"

Thanks.

I copy/pasted from a Ukrainian phrase book but that's what I wanted to say.  Hope I didn't accidentally insult anyone.

That phrasebook had a Latin p in place of the Cyrillic p (they do look identical, but the character codes are different).
\
The Cyrillic P derives from the Greek letter rho and is pronounced like the latin R

We might be seeing the beginning of the end of the old imperial style Russia now, change can come about very quickly when the foundations start to crumble.

There's just a small problem i see:
Putin grew powerful in the shadow of the fall of the Sovjet Union. He, among many others in his back, experienced the fade of the SU as unjustified and cruel, and now it's perfectly reasonable that he (believes) is fighting for a good thing, the reestablishment of the good, old Union. Golden times will come again (and so on)...

Now imagine Russia under Putin ending as an imperial force, all the people under sanctions and poverty, without future visions, a whole nation in misery, just like North Korea, but on a higher scale. A nation's young generation, growing up under grief, with no future, because of the "bad western nazi imperium".
These times might create much more dangerous dictators than Putin.
And don't let us forget about China! Can Europe afford to lose Russia, as the "whore of Bejing"? I don't think so.

Imho, if Putin's regime finally fallls, Europe and the EU should embrace Russia as a part of europe, tear down ideological walls, bring more evenly distributed wealth to the country. As unrealistic as it might seem, it's the only long term solution to the Eurasian conflict. Of course, the EU has to adress their problems with corruption and become a way more serious government than they tried to put up so far. Otherwise the EU will start to crumble. That's why i think Russia should not be isolated after Putins regime ends. Otherwise when will they recover and start another war? 2030-2040?
The voice of sanity.
Can we punish Putin and his cronies, and stop the war, without punishing 140 million or more Russians?  If we really have no choice but to damage Russia to the maximum, then let's not crow about it.
Not only is this unbecoming, but it's foolish to think that we can step on Russia's neck until she bleeds without creating future geopolitical problems.
Xi is watching.  The Chinese play the long game, and I can hear them thinking:
These punitive tactics of the Western alliance mean that we won't be able to invade Taiwan any time soon, but it also means that dollar hegemony is doomed.  Every sovereign power on this earth is going to seek a way out of the dollar dominated world currency system and move away from fiat money to commodity money.  After the transition, the world will be our oyster.  Taiwan will be ours for the taking, and the U.S. won't be able to do anything about it.  The dollar is a damp squib and the U.S. certainly won't use military force, we've already seen that in Ukraine.
