Today, the MineOnlium team would like to announce plans for the evolution of our chain, and would like to invite community members to give us their thoughts so we can solidify plans.

As it stands right now, we have decided that the best course of action is remain on EthHash. We want to provide added features on top of the chain and build an ecosystem that is fair for all and promotes solo mining. We have some ideas that will prevent one person with a lot of hashrate from dominating the network that we will propose to the community in due time.

This account has been handed over to the MineOnlium team.

We will be releasing an official roadmap within the coming weeks for MineOnlium 2.0. We have decided to remain on Ethhash, but we are going to try to build something on top of the chain that has not been done with this algorithm before. We would like to implement Solo mining as a priority, and we have a plan to stop major hashrate from reaping all of the rewards. We at MineOnlium believe in a fairly mined coin for all, regardless of hashrate. In the original vision of Satoshi Nakamoto... "One CPU, One Vote.", but in this case we would be using GPU's. We also plan to implement node rewards for our validators in addition to proof of work. A community voting protocol is planned. At the end of the day, a coin is nothing without its community. Regardless of bull or bear, MineOnlium is here for its miners. We will also be developing a simple GUI node setup program combined with a miner to make mining accessible for all. This is just a sneak peek of things to come. The official roadmap will be laid out within the discord within the coming days.

As Vladimir mentioned in the prior post. We will be forking to the best possible algorithm we can find for fair mining that has the most features baked in. We will be building on top of the chain that we choose. This is not just a fork, this is the beginning of something new. We are excited about our future plans.
