A new Minexcoin Wallet/Node v1.3.2 has been released which fixes a critical security bug.  Mandatory upgrade.  The sooner you upgrade, the lower your chances of transacting on an orphan chain.

It would be nice if you would fix the airdrop to work with non-Twitter tasks.  The submit button simply does not work.  This has been an issue for several weeks now.

We have decided to change algorithm from Skrypt to Grøstl which is ASIC resistant and much more power efficient solution. This important change will be particularly appreciated by the ordinary miners who will notice significant reduction in power draw and generated heat associated with mining.

What's the ETA on the switchover to Grøstl?  How many rounds do you plan on using?  And how many bits?

It's just a false positive as is common with wallets and miners.  You really didn't know that as a Sr. Member?

This will be one of the biggest scams ever, they charge cards that can not be used. You all know that VISA does not allow cards to be linked to the crypto. Do not be tempted to tell them how they found a solution to this problem, it's just a story to get your money. You do not have to trust me, just ask VISA!

They're not the only debit cards doing it that way by not touching the crypto.  So long as crypto -> fiat is done on the backend, what does VISA care?

Is there a -r 0 exit feature yet?  I didn't see anything relevant in the help.  A shame this can't be used for multi-algo mining because it simply won't exit.

Hi, thanks for the message bu May I ask if you would explain to me what exactly this feature is, is it about the auto exit of the miner if it's down?

It's a feature to exit the miner if there is a connection or authorization error.  Usually its done via -r 0 but could also be another command line parameter if miners still desire infinite reconnects.

i m doing multi algo

and something strange first time i see my 1080ti doing ETH  is there a bug in the profit ?

No, its just how much the profitability has decreased on alt coins due to the bear market.  It should cycle between Ethash and Equihash with a little Skein thrown in.

It's not GM that is the "scam", its n000bs that don't understand the business of mining.  As the mining difficulty rises from n00bs and their mothers getting onboard and/or the price of the coin corrects from a mini-bubble, everyone earns less and less until the point where earnings drop below the GM maintenance fee (if any) and hence, no further payouts.  This isn't an investment done for you, it's a business and you have to treat it as such.  If you can't crunch the numbers properly before going in, stay out so you don't get burned.

95% of the time, buying the underlying coin is far more profitable than mining.  There's only a few situations where mining is superior to buying but that's not the business that GM is in.

Hello!
MNX is sold at an exchange as soon as you buy smth or cash out at its current price

So it is withdrawal fees (if any) on top of the MNX/xxx spread sold at an exchange?  What will the typical spread percentage be?

What does the "overdraft percentage" reference?  The required MNX balance?  The withdrawal limits?  How will this debt be collected and what is the time limit?  What happens if the debt is not collected?

Also, the gap in withdrawal limits between Gold and Platinum is simply incongruent.  Please inform whoever is in charge that there needs to be a Silver option where Gold is now and a new Gold to fill in the gap.

And since there are no limits for POS purchases on all cards, it might behoove you to inform potential purchasers that daily ATM withdrawal limits are dramatically lower than Platinum and Infinite in virtually all countries to combat criminality.  Limits are imposed at the ATM level, bank level and/or country level.

Is MASS fully dead now? Like a zombie with a smashed in head? Or is it still just a zombie project? Thanks.

They may have lost their momentum now that pools for masternodes have been going for quite some time.  A pity, really.

ok so if i swap later i get more coins because i still earn more coins from the 5%...?

Haha, the swap should only be once.  No free ride.  But you could wait up until the end of the swap period to maximize your earnings.

Thank you , I have fixed it now, will release v1.5 in few days.

Please fix your miner so that -r 0 exits (and not retries indefinitely) as is standard with the other major miners.

Re: [ANN] Growers International $GRWI - Membership Platform & Cultivation Utility

Our current chain is based on the old Bitcoin (Blackcoin) blockchain tech, it does not have smart contract capability or the ability to program on the chain using solidity. The current chain is extremely limited in what it can do. Our tools are being developed in Solidity for the upcoming fork. The current GRWI coin will remain on the exchanges while the new token will be available for those who choose to swap over. The old github and nodes will remain online for the foreseeable future. If we stay on the current chain, we could only create centralized apps with a decentralized value coin. We are currently sticking to the path of decentralized apps for GRWI. That being said, if volume remains steady for the old coin and the markets don't delist it, you could continue to buy, sell, and use it for the swap if you so chose. Staking resumes. We appreciate your concern and support.

What is the ETA for the fork?  Will the swap be done automatically via a blockchain snapshot or will there be a form to fill int?  Will the coin be destroyed 1:1 for each token swapped?

by

I quite like the Clam project so I wanted to help secure the network so I bought 30k clams to stake with.  On average my node gets around 24 clams a day. The problem however is that I lose between 3-8 Clams/day again, they disapear shortly after I found them and they show up as 'Conflicted' in the transaction list.  So on bad days I lose about 1/3 of my yield which is pretty frustrating to say the least.  Any suggestions?

You lost out to other nodes that also mined the same block.  It's just one of those annoying things that PoS is infamous for.

Meet MinexPayCard, a crypto debit card to pay instantly anywhere!
Here is the final designs sneak peak. Don’t miss a chance to get your card, we'll provide more details soon!

I hope the final designs include the proper system code, such as 4 for VISA and not 5 which is Mastercard. Shocked

With the seed, you can still generate all the private keys that the Ledger Nano S will ever use.

True, that.  In case anyone wonders how, it can be done using this software: https://github.com/iancoleman/bip39

I would like to share with you my modified version of ccminer 2.2.5 with improved lyra2z kernels,
I see that there is many new coins for this algo and since the hot summer is near there is no better "Eco" algo like lyra2z.
So I called it the -"coolMiner" :-).

Is there any speed enhancement for Lyra2zV2 or is that a completely different algorithm?

That's very graciousness of you.  While I wouldn't say your admission now makes you a giant among men Grin, it's a step forward in the right direction.

The old Wyvern code still lives on as a PoS deadcoin.  Perhaps it could be repurposed to a better use?

This coin is going constantly down.
Why is that?

At this time its just a copy paste Bitcoin fork albeit with fancy and slick marketing for the ICO.  No evidence of ongoing active development.
