Blackcoin will be part of a tv documentary that will be shown in Finnish national tv in beginning of 2015. The reporter will follow me and my endeavors with BC during 2014.
First interview and filming was this morning, and we will continue later this evening for the first part. I hope we can see a lot of happy faces during summer, when we go above 1$ and beyond

hey yall RJSchex from the blackcoin subreddit had an idea;similar to how the MIT students are getting bitcoins in the fall to experiment in an ecosystem with, he proposed we do the same for blackcoin!that way we can show off blackcoins utility versus/in conjunction with bitcoin! he is currently coming up with a plan, please follow the subreddit if you havent already for more updates on this! if you feel that this is a good idea like i do, when the time comes for donations, please give what you can!

Good idea.It has to be blackcoincard,not just some usb stick.Its much cooler than bitcoins sticks.
I think there is some misconception about the goal of Iconic's event... it is a marketing event and new user campaign. It is not aimed at Wall St investors. His goal is to create an event that will make mainstream/web media and associate Blackcoin with THE NAME 'Wall St'. The goal is not to send girls to Wall St suits and hope they invest millions... Yeah, the idea sounds fucking stupid if you look at it that way.

The event could take place in Times Square, but the following media would not make the powerful association with Wall St. To the average person, 'Wall St' signifies wealth and power. If the event is successful and mainstream media picks it up, that is an excellent association to make for the people that it will reach.

For the past 55 days we have all been building on the next big thing, and a lot has happened. We went from a measly 500 sat price point to trading daily in a 40-50k range. Some people here seem to be nervous about manipulation by whales and other things, from 'less progression' and 'attacks on BlackCoin' as a whole.

Those that are impatient and want the price pumped: Stop.
Stop it with the instant gratification you guys all seem to be after. If you really want to get 'rich' or get a good profit out of BlackCoin then you WILL have to support it. Tell your friends, tell your neighbours. Build a product for BlackCoin, start convincing merchants that they need to add Coinkite to their mix.
Things you can do to help BlackCoin:
- Find new holders, convince your friends to invest in BlackCoin
- Add buy support to the current price. If everyone here instead of pumping the coin, adds actual buy support, AND KEEPS IT THERE, you'll see a lot more interesting things happening.
- Convince Merchants to accept BlackCoin, convince merchants to start using Coinkite
- Have patience.
A lot of things are coming in the near future:
- 2nd of May - KNC Miner give away starts
- Start of May - The first BlackCoinCard will be send out.
- The BlackCoin team will be visiting conferences all over the world
- Version 2 of the BlackCoinPool will launch.

Make something useful for the community.It can be as little as small donation to some good cause.I'm afraid the 30mil was misinformation. According to http://agran.net/bc_getbalance.php?top=100, the top addresses hold 40,973,569.05. That's worse distribution than the ~39mil I posted last week. (You can see that easily in my tiny post history.)
well it depends on how much is held in exchanges.
there was over 3500 btc traded on minpal alone which is about 10 million blackcoin.
Across all exchanges you could probably assume that there is between 10-15 million on exchanges.

Btc is allways going to be nro.1 even though its old and slow,but there is a spot for nro.2,and Ltc isnt going to be there forever.Ltc is going to have a hard time with BC someday.Bc is a lot smarter coin that Ltc,but Ltc has a huge fanbase and it will give us a good fight

I am still here guys. I have just been very busy recently, at the moment I am trying to earn some BTC so we can get this on an exchange as we don't seem to have enough support.
