Bitcoin anyday anytime.
Ripple is nowhere in the picture of even competing with bitcoin. It's decentralized and many more projects just like ripple are about to come.

Ripple can recover but it's value can not reach even beyond 13$. It is supposed to be a payment systems by banks and it's not decentralized like other cryptocurrencies. It's not suitable for long term investment.

Do you have your seed?

If so, try to re-install Electrum... maybe it is the fastest and easiest way to recover your funds

Re: Is Bitcoin really secure?

Bitcoin itself is very difficult to hack, and that is largely due to the blockchain technology which supports it. As blockchain is constantly being reviewed by bitcoin users, hacks are unlikely. On the other hand, though, the fact that bitcoin itself is difficult to hack does not mean that it's necessarily a safe investment. There does exist potential for security risks at various stages of the trading process.

You have your own desktop/hardware wallets along with maybe two or three different exchange wallets. Unless you check them daily and update some kind of spreadsheet, there is no good way to track them all…until now.

For hundreds of years, gold has dominated the safe-haven asset arena, and it is yet unknown if Bitcoin presents a real threat. There are some small, but potentially significant differences between Bitcoin and Gold in 2017

Re: Is bitcoin a good way to invest your money ?

t seems silly to some people that one bitcoin can be worth hundreds of dollars.
What makes bitcoins valuable?
Bitcoins are scarce and useful.
Let’s look to gold as an example currency. There is a limited amount of gold on earth.
As new gold is mined, there is always less and less gold left and it becomes harder and more expensive to find and mine.
The same is true with Bitcoin.
There are only 21 million Bitcoin, and as time goes on, they become harder and harder to mine.

Don’t wait to buy bitcoins and start earning good returns. Don’t keep your bitcoins idle.

You can make good money if you know how to research, as I am going to tell you about a technology business. Business requires time, investment and research, technology can make it autopilot i.e. computer will work for you.

Re: Is Bitcoin be in a bubble?

Impossible to know for certain. But here’s the contrarian view:

If there is just a 1% chance that cryptocurrency is “the future of money,” then the entire sector is currently undervalued.

The global money supply currently stands at $90 T, so 1% is $900 B. The total market value of all cryptocurrencies is just under $270 B.

And, I personally believe there is a greater than 1% chance that crypto is the future of money. My gut tells me it’s closer to 20–30%.
