Are you giving out any free trials to anyone mate?
I see "There was an error in creating a connection to the Bitcoin network" in the corner
You most likely have a corrupted file in your wallet directory. Here's the procedure to resolve the situation:
1. Start MultiBit HD as normal 2. Unlock your wallet and click Finish as normal 3. Click "Manage Wallet" in the sidebar and click the "Wallet dashboard" button 4. Make a note of your "application directory" and your "wallet directory" (copy/paste into a text editor is useful here) 5. Close MultiBit HD in the usual way 6. Open a file browser and navigate to the "application directory" and from there into your "wallet directory" 7. Locate the file called mbhd.spvchain and delete it 8. Start MultiBit HD as normal and unlock your wallet 9. You should now be able to connect to the Bitcoin network and after a much longer synchronization process than usual your balance will be restored
Works OMG, thank you so much! Please send me your BTC wallet, so I can pay you $10 for the help!

Will pay someone $10 if they can help me sort this via Skype.
How about trying a different network ? Coffee shop wifi is normally fast enough to sync.
Also, if you don't have your wallet words you really should empty that wallet and create a new one. WRITE DOWN THE WALLET WORDS of the new wallet.
Without your wallet words you significantly increase your chances of having problems as you cannot restore your backups or create your wallet afresh on a new machine.
I tried my grandma's WiFi, and still the same issue. Might be a firewall/port issue, getting new Internet anyway tomorrow.
If I empty it, where does the BTC go, because I have like $200 worth nearly.
Lighthouse is also based on bitcoinj (same as MultiBit HD) so if it is a port thing then that would probably exhibit the same lack of connectivity though.
Already downloaded Lighthouse to solve the issue, and I don't know my wallet words :S
Hoping someone has a solution for this problem, I have like .6 BTC stuck in there :S
Does it work if you temporarily disable the (windows) firewall? Do you have any other software that might cause this?
Turned it off and still the same issue :/ I don't think I have any other Anti Virus system etc that would stop it, this only occurred recently and I've not made any downloads/changes at all. Was working fine for 2 months, but idk what's going on now :S

Tried uninstalling, updating to the newest version etc, I think it might be a network problem with ports, but I'm not sure how to fix that, any suggestions?
