With yours speed no way. Even in a year you haven't lost anything worth talking about if every day is like that... But since I pushed you into publishing scores it is fair that I also did the work.

Is your hashspeed 100x mine?

This was my point ever since. This is why I insist that there is no loss - because to calc it is much more loss. I guess 99% of miners here are around 1,5 - 5Ghash/s and all those issues are nonissues. If those losses are bothersome, consider solo mining...

Same with Slush himself I guess. It is more resource optimal to bear with some minor loss and wait over it. There are new bitcoind versions to have. I believe major pool software updates will happen sometime. It`s much more cost effective to just move forward, than to delve into logs and try to find and reproduce bugs that happen for ... how much?

When you are a one-man-army you have to concentrate and focus your efforts on the important stuff, globally important.
And I like situation that we have now much more, than if Slush was replying every single moaner here, while pool`s reliability degraded.
The pool works. It accepts shares and sends out due payments.
Let us celebrate that, please!

OK I have looked at numbers.
.....

And then there are smaller then 14% differences... Complicity normal with your speed and you did gain with them so total difference is only 0,001454909 in your loss(1 good block). So again total normal with one invalid if invalid is normal. But it is some time since I saw last complaint that block didn't fix itself. It was 18264 but since it is invalid that doesn't count...

And now answer the question honestly. At least to yourself. Was this work worth 0,001454909 btc??? Even if you have a ready spreadsheet to calc this?
My bet is - you were loosing money while calculating this. And while you did that, I was at the field flying paraglider. And my miner was mining. I did not loose anything. I gained, then gained indistinguishably little less, then gained again.
Or should I go like " Oh! Slush, you bastard, give me my money back!!! Your pool has stolen $0,002 from me today!!!! AAAA!!!1111" And so on for 300 pages... Really?

I will not.

So you are backing out? You will not post statistics and things I can prove without seeing them you are saying that they are not relevant? Your words were: "And if there will be some losses in blocks for me, I promise, i will send you twice the amount. Yes, I`m that confident, that I can triple the amount. Easily."
You had 2 invalid blocks and that is 100% loss on a block. 1 is bed luck 2 is a error and look at other my posts to see explanation why... And for the rest I just have to trust you that you will tell me? Well I never expected that you will pay up... Just show you how stupid you were to promise that.

I wanted to post my statistics page, but did not find a "spoiler" feature to hide this unnecessary blunter from the innocent people.
For the sake of the argument

...1 is bad luck 2 is an error...
Why not "both = error" then? Cheesy In my book that`s below statistical noise level - just as with pool luck, not measurable in a couple of days.
If we had 3 invalids in a row - that would be more believable to be a pool system issue. But not random 2 out of random 30...

P.S. I apologize to all the readers for the clutter. (maybe there is a spoiler feature I did not notice?)

OK on that case

amount due for yesterday is 0.0022 * 3 = 0.0066.

Reason? 2 or 3 invalid blocks that are too much not to be a pool error. Let see if you will be truth to your word.

And please do post statistic so I can find more...

EDIT: and my karma is OK. Yesterday we had 200% luck and I got a donation from a user that I helped troubleshot a strange problem... I was sure that will never happend but it did...

2 invalid blocks out of 30 in my statistics page, looks like ok to me. Some bad luck.

And congratulations on the donation.

About being true to my word, I stated that I will send double the loss if I, that is me, misteranf, gets screwed up reward block or a lot of missing shares per round having no miner downtime.
I have never seen that. I guess hundreds(thousands?) of Slush`s pool miners haven`t.

... really bad time for Slush to have ...
For gods sake, who are you to judge Slush?
One who calculated that have lost in last system crash of the reword system 0.01 BTC. If I have had all my miners hire I would have lost 0.03 BTC... And don't worry after that I did left and I'm looking when pool will become Slush pool again. Pool is good when Slush is hire. But right now it has one system failure after another. In 24 hours I have detected stratum not logging my shares for 16 minutes(after that time they did come back but according to forum posts they are lost if block ends), total crash of a reword system that cost me 0.01 BTC and 12 stratums disconnections without a reason(probably it cost me some BTC but is hard to say). If you are a hobbyist I do understand but if you look on this as a businesses it is a totally different story. ASIC is coming and every hash is important. If every day would be like that 24 hours that I tested if Slush fixed problems and I had all my miners on the pool I would lost out 0.03BTC*30days*130$=118$ per month. If I take today for example. I'm sure you had 2 invalid block or maybe even 3 not sure. That would be without even taking into account reword system problems that pool had again 0,09 BTC. So even more then in test(354$). If that are normal losses to you please send me that much or allow me to say Slush you must fix the problems. I'm not sure why you are not saying that since you should. But then again you might like to loos BTC if so you can loss then on my address I promis I will not send them back... 1CPPdCNUash5ZYQXNRDW8pQiYWzZh5hCFu

As I wrote earlier, I had no losses, no screwed up reward blocks, no stratum interface jumping or theoretically submitted but not counted shares. And yes I mine with single 7950 at 600Mhash/s give or take 20.
And my point is, you Lucko, get all those problems because of bad carma. You piss of so many people because of pointless bitching about losing 0,01 btc (can you buy anything in your country for $1,3 Huh i guess coffee cup is around $7 in starbucks?) You just annoy btc mining gods with complaining about getting less than you hoped for to get for free and put all this trouble upon yourself...

Just think about it. The Great Universe gave you ability to turn one resource into another, breaking the laws of everything by getting more in the process. (in my case it`s approx 1 to 3 - where 1 is electricity cost and 3 is btc value on mtgox) Than you calculate something and consider all that COULD be given to you - OWED to you... And jump around feeling betrayed and robbed!
WTF dude? Nobody owes you a shit, be grateful for what you get.
Or maybe plant couple of fields with vegetables and knock yourself out bitching on agricultural forums about the weather not cooperating and rather being a bad pussy! Imagine what losses are there to be had. Here, you never loose major part of investment, your mining rig. I mean, you never will loose it to slush`s pool. And if there will be some losses in blocks for me, I promise, i will send you twice the amount. Yes, I`m that confident, that I can triple the amount. Easily.

... really bad time for Slush to have ...

For gods sake, who are you to judge Slush? If you are so disappointed in this pool just go away, fuck a blender or two and leave us all alone finally.

PS. I mine with Slush since 16-th april. Lurked around the forum since, every day. My miners are on 24/7 and there were no problems whatsoever. Except the times  when pool was ddos`ed and hacked. My rewards are fine cause I never bother to check them before they are confirmed, all my shares are always there, because it is more practical to not give a fuck if 0,000shit percent are lost, than to be the epic hysterical squirrel about it. http://images.wikia.com/adventuretimewithfinnandjake/images/c/c7/Modelsheet_squirrel_-_specialpose.png

Thank`s and respect to Slush and the constructive folk who keep the forum useful!
