Re: Is it possible to have one wallet for all cryptos?
by

I'd love to have a multi-currency, multi-platform (or online) wallet that can not only hold just about every cryptocurrency there is (ETH, BTC, DGE, DGX, ETC, LTC, etc...), but also allows me to have multiple wallets of each (say, one for savings & one for spending), and doesn't own my private keys.

Boom, there it is....Other projects such as Lisk and Qtum are also coming onto the scene and could possibly dethrone one of the three larger players.

They have already "banned" bitcoin like 10 times past 4 years without success. This is nothing new, they ban everything that is great about the internet.

Re: Bitcoin is Officially illeagal in Morocco

Nassim Taleb: "For bitcoin to make it, it needs to be banned by a few governments and critiqued by policy makers. Otherwise it will fade."

For those of you who dont recognize his name. He is seriously the greatest thinker in modern finance for about 200 years (no one would ever argue that he is not one of the great, he is in league of about 3 or 4 people). He coined the terms "black swan" and "antifragile." Brilliant writer and thinker.

This is great for Bitcoin because the country has a very significant impact on the market cap. But if Bitcoin continues to be used in Morocco, it will help to prove that govts can't stop Bitcoin.

Re: Will Another Coin Take the Crown?

I see that IOTA has a lot more advantages than disadvantages. Lets compare against the BTC Bitcoin will never be adopted as a payment method on a shop or store, first the speed on transactions are unacceptable, second on micro payments the fees are in many cases higher than the cost of what we are buying,

Comparing against Ethereum the Big issue with this " Crypto " is that it should not even be classified as currency.

As far as I know there is not limitation on the number of ether that can be mined, for this reason it becomes worthless.

Re: Prediction bitcoin in the future
by

on 26/02/2018, 07:23:09 UTC
I think bitcoin will cost more than$ 50,000 in 10 years. Also, it will no longer be the first cryptocurrency for capitalization. Ethereum will take its place because Ethereum has a working economic model. It's not just" digital gold " like bitcoin.
Any time anyone says “trust me the market will go to the moon soon due to...” i downvote and leave immediately. If you have a time machine please do share it otherwise keep the worthless speculation to yourself. You’ll get some free karma from others who want to believe you, but ultimately it’s foolish and naive.

Re: Do you like bitcoin, what's your reason?
by
MisterPrada

People have been saying it’s a bubble when it was 2 dollars a coin lol. As long as it keeps its infrastructure, innovations, believers and we keep breaking down these psychological barriers, we will be the pioneers into a great technological advance. A big problem right now is that it’s getting SO much spotlight by the media, celebrities, governments and tons of people are flowing in looking to make a quick buck without researching and understanding the potential crypto has. So to answer your question, no I don’t think it’s a bubble but yes I do believe we will see some drops in price when all these newbies figure out btc is still in development. But hey, that ain’t nothing new

I've held through all the crashes. Who's laughing now? Not the panic sellers.

Market is all about moving money from impatient to the patient. You see crash, I see opportunity.

Re: Why Banks are attacking Bitcoin ?
by
MisterPrada
on 22/02/2018, 07:08:44 UTC
It's being attacked by every single entity who has the ability and the motive, so yes.

People don't factor in how strong bitcoin is when they complain about it or consider its value. How can something so impervious to attacks have no or little value?

I did this recently and it worked out very well. They still ask for a credit card number when you arrive so they have something if you cause damages, but otherwise it's all pre-paid with Bitcoin.

Re: What happens when all the Bitcoin is mined?
by
MisterPrada
on 19/02/2018, 06:04:14 UTC
Transaction fees will rise to a point where it'll have to pay for mining operations.

Either fees will be enough to cover power costs, or there will be fewer miners. However, this is still decades away.

Glad to see that many large countries are accepting Bitcoin as at least somewhat legitimate at the end of the day.

But even still, how can you can BTC anyway? It's like banning the internet or something. It's just not going to work in the long-run regardless.

Not only friends, top notch finance proffesors here in my hometown also believe bitcoin is just bubble scheme. I try to describe blockchain to people and how its changing way of currencies, they just keep ignoring.
BTC is a bubble like all banks and a pension fund. If there are no new users, all this will burst
