If that is your belief, that Elite will fail, then allow me to offer you some hope. If you're looking to cast away your "bad investment", I'll happily buy you out.

I think it is more likely, however, that you're looking to cause panic among supporters of promising projects, and make them the same deal - at a lower price.

If the latter is the case, then your tactics are unethical. Common, but unethical none the less.



I have spoken with members of the team, and my interactions with them make me very confident that the Elite project will be succeed. True - it might not be tomorrow, but I firmly believe that there will be a point in the future where people will look back at your comments and laugh. My concern is that there may also be people who gave you undeserved credence, and who will regret ever giving you a thought.

Someone should host (and promote) a contest for the most 1337 gaming moment videos. Any game, but it must be your own footage from a game you participated in. Maybe the top 5 are rewarded after three months?

I would be willing to throw 100k 1337 towards this endeavor, if others would like to donate towards that end, and we can find someone who can host the contest.

I think we should consider sponsoring some gaming contests, and award the winners with 1337. Maybe get some browser extensions up...allow for one-click depositing of 1337 into others' wallets if they have them listed somewhere.

Maybe we should get someone to write a program like folding@home, except instead of allocating resources to benefit medical research, it allots resources to improve performance for other people's games?

Unfortunately, there are always wealthy people and orgnizations who purchase currencies and sell them at a low price in order to keep the prices down (allowing them to purchase more) before a big price hike. I think we're seeing the same here with 1337.

Hello, I have a couple of questions about this, namely;

-If I use the downloadable client and set my name as my wallet address, does this still get counted?
- Can I use the same wallet address on two computers at once, or should I set up a second address if I wish to use two computers (Don't worry, I own both of these machines - I'm not hijacking the university computer lab or anything).
