How to contribute

Download mixin messanger app ( https://mixin.one/ ), follow the step , watch video for your ref https://youtu.be/oGk5ZBJxb6s.
After completed created pin wallet winthin mixin messanger. Send/deposit your token to mixin messanger wallet. If erc20 token, send your token to your ethereum address in mixin messanger. Once your token deposit successfully inside mixin messanger wallet. Klik on it and copy the transaction id.
Faste your transaction id in ( search transaction field ) at https://mixin.one/snapshots than enter. Afterward, you will be redirected to another page eq : https://mixin.one/snapshots/37568840-72ee-4b51-bbc0-16a6cfd1de99. And in the bottom of page. you will see ASSET name. Click the link below of ASSET, the result will be as example here https://mixin.one/snapshots/4d977d4e-af34-360e-ba03-f546a3f14fcb .
The random word and number ( example : 4d977d4e-af34-360e-ba03-f546a3f14fcb ). That is your token asset_id in mixin network.
Add a file named index.json, and fulfill the content by following the schema of index.json, you can get cmc_id from https://api.coinmarketcap.com/v1/ticker/?limit=0, which is id of the asset in coinmarketcap.
Add the logo named icon.png
Besides, if you find that your token has been added, you can modify the related file and logo as well
Commit the changes
Push to your own repo
Make a pull request with detailed description
We will review your PR as soon as possible, and then merge it into the master branch when everything is fine

How secure is transaction on Mixin network?
The Kernel BFT consensus is secured by a strict punitive PoS. If a kernel node is determined to be an attacker, all its collateral will be recycled into the mining pool. TEE enforcement ensures three important security and trust factors for Mixin Kernel. Mixin Light node is a simplified payment verification (SPV) node for Mixin Kernel. It stores all unspent outputs for easy account balance query.

The reason why I'm optimistic about Mixin Network is its use of use and diversities. People no necessary to pay more attention in how to use Mixin Messenger to keep their assets safe while are clear about the transactions he performed. It's really to send tokens to the ones you know, just like send messages using any instant social messengers. Actually, besides the tokens listed on Mixin Messenger, I guess all kinds of token are possible to be stored, transferred, paid in Mixin Messenger just like the idea Mixin Network stated: All cryptocurrencies accepted in Mixin Messengers. I like that.

I'm just thinking since Mixin Messenger is also an app just like telegram, why don't we talk in Mixin Messenger so that we can actually have a feel of the product which we support.

Quick question. I see the Mixin wallet holds EOS and Eth. Does that mean it supports ERC20 tokens and EOS tokens? Or is this something for future releases?
Mixin Network current supports 13 blockchain.
BTC, BCH, ETH, EOS, ETC, SC, XRP, XEM, DOGE, DASH, ZEC, LTC and ZEN.
which mean it support any token released on those blockchain.
ETH-ERC20 and EOS-EOS Tokens.

Did they run an ICO ? And what are the potential applications MINXIN is working on..
Right now we don't have project has done any ICO with XIN.
But there are many projects built on Mixin Network.
The core team is working on Mixin Network, Mixin Messenger and OceanONE.
Mixin mainnet will launch on Feb 2019.
I think potential application will come after Mixin Developer Competition.
