Re: No Wonder Satoshi Disappeared...

With his last of mails released. Anyone can easily predict satoshi was planning the exit the day he started. He knew bitcoin is going to be a success without him. Accumulated a good amount of coin and disappeared without a trace. I respect his desire of privacy but if he won't reveal himself, a great person would get lost in the disguise of a pseudonym.

I was about saying same. Dude is most probably a well articulated individual and had all his plans premeditated. He forsaw a problem that can be used effectively in the dark web and thus transmitted into the surface web to create money transfer solution. He didnt want the glory and name so he published his invention and went anonymous which is one of the best decisions ever made for cryptocurrency survival and adoption till recent date

I don't expect much growth in price and adoption for this coin but they've some a long way from being just a meme coin. I'm surprised that they're still around to be honest and kudos to them for outlasting many other early cryptos. I guess many people still finds value in them like the faster confirmation and cheaper transaction fees compared to bitcoin as you mentioned.

You are right. Doge has hang around for quite a lomg time and has never dropped a quality one bit. One of the best Coins with the cheapest transfer fees out there. Its the largest community coin i know and i wont be surprised if coinbase chooses to list it based on this merit just like Binance did. I do hope they can be more than a meme coin though and advance technologically too

Re: Scam Projects and Bounty . Way forward??
by
Mmesooma1
on 10/11/2019, 08:21:19 UTC
So far this year , a lot of scams have occurred in the crypto sphere ranging from projects scamming investors and as well as projects not paying hunters for their works.

What do you think can be done to counter this ill manner behaviors that has been painting cryptocurency bad?
There's no way to counter these kind of problem, As we see today it keeps repeated people are not learned by the experience of others thats why its better to move on to avoid stress and until next time it should be more cautious when dealing investment like ICO's or invest instead on IEO's but choose those exchange that has already a trustworthy records.

Theres truly no way to counter or checkmate these projects as long as there's no regulator body that certifies these ICO/IEO projects and proclaim them worthy of investment. Till then, scam projects will keep running wild in the cryptocurrency space. The risk is all left to the investor as its his perogative to duly research on the projects. Maybe we can minimise the risk by choosing to invest in projects running on more reputable exchange platforms.

Re: John McAfee Releasing an ‘Epstein Didn’t Kill Himself’ Token
by

While he owned a decentralized exchange, now launching his own token with an "out-of-the-box" name. This guy right here is a long time supporter of Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. He promised to eat his own d*** if Bitcoin doesn't reach $1 million dollars by the end of 2020. However, Donald Trump would likely gonna ban Bitcoin if it breaches $100k.

I don't know about this ladies and gentlemen, but I have a question for all of you. What do you think about McAfee's new token? Let me know about your thoughts, opinions or feedback about this one.
John McAfee is a comedian in the entire crypto space and you should not take anything he says seriously as he likes to do things out of the box and he knows there will be some dumb people who will be purchase his new token, he already pulled some token stunts by promoting scam tokens and these sort of meme tokens are already there in the market like TrumpCoin (TRUMP)  PutinCoin (PUT) and many others and those have valuation too so why not another token from a joker  Cheesy.

Lol. Dude is really a joker. He has said so many unbelievable and unimaginable things but we must admit that he knows how to market shit tokens and make money for investors out of it. I womt be surprised to see heavy investment on the whack token from investors. I wont underrated that.

IEO in Dcoin exchange? I think this is not popular exchange so if you want good investor people then you need follow other exchange like top in cmc. I was reading roadmap of your project and good think I'm impressed but we can expect other exchange.
why dcoin is not a popular exchange ?, let's take a look at the daily trading volumes on the exchange. It seems to me that this is an average volume, of course, dcoin is very far from binance. Don't worry, it will be okay.
Of course it will be okay, because I know the team have better plans. Truth be told, Dcoin is a smaller exchange and one won't be mistaken for calling it an upcoming exchange, but however the team is thinking long term thus by starting with a smaller exchange they will gain a reasonable support to move to bigger exchanges.
We are only small investors in this project and cannot ask the development team to list at the big exchange right now because most large exchanges have very very difficult requirements and are not easily listed. In my opinion you should be patient and give them more time to do this and during that time you should learn more about the project to realize the potential of E3T. I personally am very impressed by what is happening and will consider investing if E3T can improve on future trading volumes.

Indeed the requirements to enter a large exchange are very complicated, but as far as I know it can be done easily if the team is willing to pay with some BTC to the exchange. Maybe a little pushy but that's the most effective way.

Asking for a big exchange is rathee too impulsive and early in my opinion since its trading comfortably on dcoin against usdt pair. I will like to see manifestations of the working product and how it interoperates between the crypto and real life world before expanding to top tier exchanges

Re: Should ICO have Advisors compulsorily?
by

I have seen many ICOs' having advisors for namesake and only a few have for real. Can we believe a project based on the Advisors?

Or is it necessary for ICOs' to have Advisors before Token sale? Seen some using Bounty campaign to get Advisors.

I don't see it as compulsory. It can be a forgone alternative because its an area that can be handled if the team has robust knowledge and ample experience on the field. Or better still, one or two advisors are okay to minimise recurrent expenditure

Do any of you have plans on how you'll eventually spend your crypto?

I'll be using Zeex Cool Their protocol lets you to buy gift cards directly with crypto and spend them with major retailers like Amazon, Starbucks, Playstation etc. with no fees. And they're backed by their sister company Zeek, which is already the biggest gift card provider in Europe, so the platform will be up and running quickly after their token sale.

Here is their website if you're interested: https://www.zeex.me/

This is good. I have a project I know running something similar. They plan to be the bridge between the IOT world crypto world where by users can purchase any hardware or software device using its native token called multicoin(mtcn). These efforts are really commendable if effectively executed

Just like an account where one's fiat currencies are kept so also is wallet where digital assets or cryptocurrencies of crypto lovers are kept. Can the wallet be vulnerable to hacking and if possible how can that happen? If you have experienced it before, I want to learn from your experience.

To the best of my knowledge, wallet hacking is possible in this particular way, If you entered a phishing site where your wallet Passphrase or private key is given out or in the case of a stolen phone for mobile wallets

I'm wondering what will happen to ICO if bitcoin goes back to 1000$ plus per one to find its bottom? Will ICO start dying off ? Cos presently ICO is already suffering from market condition and I'm wondering what ICO fate would be it bitcoin falls further ,any thoughts???

Obviously, ICO will die off. A practical buttress to this happened in 2018 when bitcoin and ethereum achieved all new low. It spread wide panic and loss of confidence in cryptocurency which made investors develop cold feet towards ICOs.

Nice write up. Almost all crypto enthusiasts in early 2017 and beyond came in through btc faucets to earn to multiple negative zero digits of bitcoin, ethereum, doge coin etc and since then  things have improved. Cryptocurency business is still young with a lot of potential and if you are knowledgeable enough, you will know better than listening to naysayers

Re: Listing kills a coin?

I used to invest in ISO and make a profit. Recently, a lot of coins in which I invested fall down after entering the stock exchange. I do not know what to do about it ...

Listing the anticipated final stage from investors after fundraising through ICO. It doesn't necessarily kill a coin as long as the exchange has good organic volume. Rather look at these factors like private and presale bonus, team allocation without lock up period and no buy back plan from the team

Spending cash is expensive, bogus and less secure. Sweden has taken a positive way to globally connect its economy. I see other ict compliant or friendly countries to join suit in the revolution

Re: Solutions to KYC complain of some Bounty Hunters
by
Mmesooma1
on 02/04/2019, 22:13:54 UTC
Here are my solution to growing complained by the bounty hunters regarding KYC.

1. As we all know KYC by its definition. We all know that we aren't obliged to do so. Since no fiat or investment we did to get the tokens which solely the purpose of KYC to monitor the funds ans circulation of token during purchase. Don't comply and don't join bounty with KYC! Simple as that.

2. If youre afraid of KYC asked someone to do it for you and gave him funds in return. I think this is happening on some cases ( But this is form of cheating)

3. Read again step 1. If youre still have complain and still want to join that particular bounty and you are really a nutcracker!

Number one would have been more doable but only if theres a union for hunters to ensure every hunter adheres to the rules or laws bounded by bounty hunting else it will be a movement in futility

Is it a good idea in your opinion for me to wait for ethereum price to increase so I can sell it and move the money to more alt coins or should I just move the current amount of ethereum to other altcoins right now?  Undecided

If you know how to trade you can make money from shorting ethereum and realising profits. These are volatile coins and are hardly accurate on prediction. I suggest you sell if you are already in profit

on 31/03/2019, 17:05:27 UTC
Well your wallet is where you keep your coin safe and it always important to protect it
One of the best way is to protect your private key never give it out to any one even if it's your mentor that is very important
This is for new guys like me

First rule in cryptocurrency:  never give out your private keys, Passphrase or mnemonics to anyone. This is sang like a nursery rhyme every day in cryptocurency yet people still fall victim of such scam
