Re: what do you think the best way to gain when you trading?
by
Mobshady24

the best way would be the basic ones which is to buy low and sell high, for example with current dip and slump happening in the market we can say that this is the lowest by far again in few weeks so in short best time to buy since it is low and then wait for another pump which usually happens right after a dip.

there's are few blockchain technology that is a lot better than ethereum blockchain but since the adoption on ethereum is quite easy compared to them i guess we can say that ethereum has a higher chance compared to top alts on being the next bitcoin although that is not possible as long as the bitcoin's dominance through the market exists.

Some are doing a great job overseeing ICO teams, but how do we prevent collusion?

Just asking
simply nope, but there are legit ones on the list but most on the list of top ICO or hot ICOs are just simply paid these site in order to receive good ratings from the website.

that is just garbage. How can they even think it is fair to reduce the bounty campaign? The campaign did  a lot for them to receive the funds collected. I know sometimes the bounty amount is high in relation to collected funds. But than you will have to make it %-wise. That is a scam and really destroys all reputation of the team and the project.

I think you're being overly harsh on them, my friend Smiley Everyone is bound to make "wrong" decisions once in a while, RepuX team is no exception Smiley
I personally don't think they've done something wrong at all, if we are being honest Smiley
Good luck to you Smiley

well you can't blame him, the problem with ICO conducting bounty program is that they don't disclose such action at the start which is really frustrating for someone who invest their time to promote their ICO.

Too bad for OP if he/she bought bitcoins from the time this topic was posted, i believe right now is a good time to buy bitcoin as well as alts because of recent slump and dip on its price, i can see right now that trading volume has increase so it could give us profit easily in just a few days or a week if we buy right now.

well his opinion quite make sense, who wants their investment/asset getting seized by the government? of course non, i heard there is a whale that move thousand of bitcoin into exchange, coincidence? guess not.

Re: Is the bull market coming?
by

on 11/06/2018, 22:00:36 UTC
We all want the bull market to start as soon as possible. Therefore, many people are expressing their forecasts, but this does not change anything. The bull market will begin when it will need sharks.
agreed, i believe (but i hope not) this bearish market will last a long period of time compared on what we experience in the past. we can't just simply ignore anymore the authorities, just like what happened on that investigation on bitcoin's price manipulation it followed by a huge dip.

im a newbie here i really want to get much experience in cryptocurrency and i myself want to learn a lot about it but since im new in this industry everybody warn me to be careful in trading, i really dont know what trading is and how can i get my money stolen from that thing can you guys explain to me?
Just be careful of those phishing sites like if someone gives you a link via msg or email don't open it immediately or do not fill any form asking for your password because they can easily access your account, and if you are using private keys better not input it elsewhere just in the online wallet you are using like myetherwallet.

Hi, Can some one advise

My friend wanted to invest in bitcoins He wanted to give me say £1000 from his bank and gave it to me in cash, If I was to say put the cash into  my bank and set up buying bitcoins from my online account would this be legal? , He has no knowledge on how to buy or trade them..

Thank you
well first of all you should know the existing laws on taxes on cryptocurrency in your place, if there is one just pay the assessed tax so the transfer would deem legal.
but as far as my knowledge is concern i think as long as the government doesn't impose ban trade of bitcoin any transaction as long as it is not for a criminal act should be legal.

Re: Why bitcoin is still dropping ?
by

Do your research on the terms bear market and bull market. Bear market is what's happening right now. A bull run happened in December 2017.

Hint: https://www.investopedia.com/terms/b/bearmarket.asp & https://www.investopedia.com/terms/b/bullmarket.asp
Well actually bull run happened if i'm not mistaken around sep or at least early oct and the peaked is at december of the last year, for me it seems the prices are still normal because the pump happened last year is way too much for the community to handle yet, in short the hype was just too much and the result is an expensive prices. So right now buying is a good option because if a bull run like that happened last year starts you might regret it.

Re: market now
by
Mobshady24

The market is constantly fluctuating. What is your opinion?
My own opinion is that people should stop selling their Bitcoin and start Hodling and also investing more of their money into Bitcoin, especially now that the price is down to a lower rate. The price is determined by the rate investment (rate of demand) so I believe this is due to so many people withdrawing. This low price is an opportunity for so many people, so we better start taking the opportunity.
I will say that it is true, if bitcoin supporters will also holds and wait for a while, then new investors will come and start investing as well, the panic that
was created also giving new comers trust with the system, we need to treat this as an opportunity rather than treating is a loss from our investment,
keep in mind that the market will bounce back and will bring good gains after.
that's not gonna happen, some people are trading for short term profit and with current market trend or condition that the best way to do tbh, you won't earn anything if you keep on holding those btc for too long and waiting for the next bull run to start.

Worth it if you can make money/earn out of this but if you loss a lot through trading maybe it's better to stick on other activities like bounty where you don't have a cost for your crypto holdings.

Even with quality posts doesn't mean you'll get merit hah
Interesting stuff, but not easy. I'll probably be stuck at Member for a few months  Grin
Now almost all members problems is that they already reach thier complete activity but cannot rank up because thier merit is not enough. Even you posted constructive and high quality post but they dont like to give you merit theres nothing you can do
that's the real struggle here, even though you put effort on the quality of your posting people can't notice that because of so much users here and most likely the focus of people here is to just post and simply join bounty campaign, i love the new system but i think they should appoint a lot of trusted users to spread merit across the forums.

Re: How long will the bull run last ? 21 March 2018
by
Mobshady24
on 21/03/2018, 17:28:55 UTC
You are asking for when the party ends, but the party hasn't even begun yet! Either that or I am out of the loop and missed all the signs the past couple of days. Don't get me wrong I believe we are almost there, but let the party fully begin before asking when it ends! If I had to guess though, just randomly I would say bull run will last couple of months this time at least. But that is only because I saw the last run as a test bull run and not a real bull run.
I was confused about the party he/she talking about  Cheesy
see the current market now? bitcoin can't even pass 10k price point right now even after G20 releasing good statements for cryptocurrency. This might be a really long bearish trend right now. Sad to say but the hype of bitcoin is losing its effect ever since that correction happened in january/feb.

Re: Is Advertising through bounty profitable?
by
Mobshady24
on 21/03/2018, 17:26:06 UTC
I want to ask how does the people that do bounty make money.I mean they are giving away money for free. How is it profitable for ICO teams?
Because very less amount of people invest in their ICO through bounty. Huh
They are not giving any free money, you are doing the job as advertising their project so you are doing some job to get that money.

Actually they are making lot of money than you think, the advertisement of the project is very important if they want to get more investors so they will allocate some funds from the token or coin creations so they are using that money for the advertisement,it is the investors money not their own.

Some ICOs will reach their caps value in some minutes after it was launched so it needs to be a good project too to get succeed if there is less investors then the project may not worth to invest.
For some ICO or projects I do see some which do sold out for few hours or minutes only which is amazing because you can really see the demand.Advertising do really works and always been part of the plan of those project owners. Its not actually investors money on what they have spend mainly. They do have allocated budget with it and they do only gain profit in the end of the sale or they do let it progress overtime since they are holding some serious numbers of coins from their own wallets, when the market booms up then its a sure sure money for them.
Totally agree, even for some scammy project were the most part of the effort is done through advertisement they are getting so much money during their ICOs while the development is being left behind right after collecting funds from investors.
Bounty programs pays well definitely, there's no exact amount of how much you can get since the stakes can only be completed after the bounty is finish and the value of the coins you'll get will depend upon the demand once get listed.

Re: Banking will still be significant until cryptocurrencies can "stand on their own
by
Mobshady24
on 21/03/2018, 17:21:32 UTC
for the moment the Bank is still standing upright, then how is the continuation of the bank if Crypto already stand alone and in the public know so that in use fully and all countries wear it. is there going to be a temporary panic in the financial world? .... and all the banks in every country collapse is that what will happen hopefully there is no market panic
banks will definitely play a major role if bitcoin and alts can't still be use for normal purchase transactions, we seeing a lot of companies accepting cryptocurrency for payment such as real estate and purchases of goods but can't be use for small transactions yet so banks will continue its efficient service in financial system.

Re: Long or Short since Bitcoin reached 8800 again?
by
Mobshady24
on 21/03/2018, 17:18:19 UTC
For now all elements show btc will rise thanks to the G20.

I don't believe that's actually the case. First the market was said to be going down due to South Korea, then due to China's new regulations, after that the SEC was causing the market to go down, and then MtGox, and then G20 and Google. It's just the result of people paying too much attention to what the news sources want you to believe. Bitcoin may just have bottomed out, where traders gained back enough confidence to enter the market again.

Currently two things matter for me;

1- Is the short term demand strong enough to push the market over the $10,000 level again? I would say likely.
2- Is the short term demand strong enough to maintain $10,000 for a longer period of time without diving under that level again? Not likely.

I am still of believe that in order to break through this uninspired market, a bullish trigger is definitely needed. As long this bullish trigger isn't there, the chances for a real breakout to happen are very low. In a market as speculative and hype driven as the one from Bitcoin, it doesn't take long before traders get bored and start unloading coins again.
You are right, we have to view the positive side of bitcoin always as this will give you such a better life that you are not expecting most, so give yourself at least some years to hold bitcoin so you can see the positive outcome on it. Make it a vision, don't let those negative news ruin your decision.

Going long is a better option now as prices are recovering well and should  move 9k upwards and we can see lot of buying happening global due to which this has caused the price to rise. Unless we have some negative news related to btc their should not be any worry.

And yet it's down by 8850usd again, might thinking of selling soon if it reaches atleast 9.5k or 10k, seriously the support for 9k is really weak might be the reason for bitcoin getting hard to pump up again.
short term could possibly the best choice by now because of this fluctuating events.

Re: France declares war on the cryptocurrencies
by

on 19/03/2018, 22:18:47 UTC
I read on news that

"The French finance minister has called for tough new regulations on cryptocurrencies to stop them being used to dodge tax or finance terrorism and other crimes"
Source ( http://metro.co.uk/2018/01/15/france-declares-war-cryptocurrencies-bitcoin-ethereum-litecoin-ripple-tough-new-stance-lead-ban-7231339/?ito=cbshare)

Is this having any impact on the downtrend nature of the whole Crypto Currency market today?
Are some investors having second thought about crypto and selling them?

Would like to get some idea about this.

as long as they don't ban bitcoin from big countries such as france i think regulation should just be fine because i notice when there's a new news regarding regulation of bitcoin there are some small dips but it can catch up easily later on unlike in a total ban where correction on the market will happen instantly.

There's a lot of way for the government to track your profit if they want to do so it's just that there are too many individual and businesses that illegally avoiding taxes compared to profits coming from cryptocurrency but i believe there will be a time that government will chase us for those profit we earn from bitcoin especially there's a lot of news going around that many individuals made fortune themselves through holding bitcoin for such a long time.
