What if a bank closes your account for trading with Bitcoin? what will happen to your money and what will the cons of such thing happening (except for losing your bank account which could be seen as positive)
You don't need to exchange your Bitcoin directly to your bank account.
It's much better, in my opinion, use exchangers, so that your bank can't find out origin of your money.
I don't really agree with exchangers because of the history of most exchangers and most exchangers don't allow buying from the UK I'll be using localbitcoins bank transfer and hopefully meeting up locally eventually.

The answer is to store your wallet using TrueCrypt (http://www.truecrypt.org/)
Using the hidden volume facility you can create one 'container' which has two 'partitions' (volumes) each one having it's own password. In the 'innocent' volume you could put a wallet containing a tiny amount of BTC for plausible deniability and in the hidden volume you put the wallet containing your massive stash.
When you're asked to reveal your password you give the password for the 'innocent' volume containing the wallet with the small balance and you've complied with the regulations/court order/whatever.
No-one can prove whether the TrueCrypt volume contains a hidden volume or not because without the password to decrypt it it's just random noise, which is what a TrueCrypt volume would contain with or without a hidden volume inside it.

Hi all,
I'm looking for a small number of chip to experiment with. Just one would be a start but ideally I'd like between 6 and 10.
I've got some designs to experiment with but they're only in my head so far because I figure if I can't get hold of any chips it's not worth having designed and made the boards.
I'd appreciate it if anyone who can help me out would get in touch. The ideal scenario would be someone who is also in the UK, as I am, but don't let me put you off if you're not.

Indeed there are. I fancy the challenge of etching my own for a small number of prototypes.
If there's enough interest then I'd get a bigger batch made up. I see there is one UK based company who actually has the work done in China or Singapore. From memory they worked out to about £3 per NF board if you were ordering a few hundred I think.
For me the only doubt I would have would be supplying the right files for a commercial production run out of the KiCad design.

There are companies in the uk that will make boards, small quantities are expensive, but the price drops rapidly for bigger orders.

I did think about it, but at this time it will most likely not be necessary - most people would either use a powered USB hub (and those now easily deliver 1A and more per port) or use USB3 ports.
In one of my tests I used a powered USB2 hub where the power brick provides 3A (plus 0.5A from the PC) and that was sufficient to attach and run 3 devices, and actually push them all the way to their limits. So by just not using all ports you leave the extra power for the ports that are in use thus achieving the same effect as if you use 2 ports simultaneously.
Plus, the extra USB connector would get in the way the simplicity idea
I'm definitely going to get set up for a DIY build and my challenge to myself is to see how low I can keep the costs. Now that I've seen that the NF2 is in the pipeline I'll wait for that to be available.
vs3 - I'm assuming it's a 2 layer board and that the back is just ground? Thinking about the viability of etching my own boards
Can anyone point me in the right direction to source a small number of bitfury chips (probably about 5 - 10 of them) ?
If I'm successful anyone in the UK interested in a DIY build kit of parts?

Just thinking about the people who are having problems with only getting 1.2Gh / 1.4Gh out of their devices and I had a thought ...
Some people don't seem to be sure if it's their rig in terms of OS, miner software and/or version, USB hub compatibility or power supply issues.
It just occurred to me that maybe people could use the power of the bitcoin community to help pin down their problem if there is someone who has a known good working rig nearby to someone with what looks like a dodgy BF1 device. Perhaps people could hook up, pop round and have their devices tested?
Mine are running at a steady 2.3Gh with a 7 port D-link hub on a Raspberry Pi using MinePeon, so if anyone in Bedfordshire needs what looks like a dodgy BF1 testing we might be able to arrange something.

I've had 6-7 (maybe more) requests via PM today from people asking that I issue their compensation immediately, because they need it to buy something or want to cash out 
. Some people have even requested that I send their funds to an address other than the "refund address" they originally specified when they ordered. (you'll have to send a signed message later)
There is very little chance in me the compensation now (today), I'm not at home now until this evening, nor do I think its a good idea to complicate things by issuing the compensation to just a handful of people, but I will begin bundling up a transaction to process them all in one go, shortly.
To keep everything open and transparent, I was thinking of posting a list of peoples refund address and username and then allowing 12-24 hours for people to message me if they see anything wrong before I send.
What do you all think? Any objections?

I have a number of these exact heat sinks on old disks up in the loft if anyone's interested . I can't remember precisely how many, maybe 6 or 8.
I was considering cannibalizing one as a heatsink for a K1.
I'm in the UK and would happily swap for any parts / components that would help me DIY build a K1 nano or a fraction of a BTC to cover postage.
From the same server(s) I also have a bunch of 90mm cooling fans (12v 0.31A) if anyone can use them (I think I have about 30 of these!)

My only real requirement is that it supports more than 2Gb Ram because I'm looking to upgrade my desktop machine (piece by piece and on a budget), and has at least one 16xPCI-e slot.
Preference for a seller in the UK because that's where I am.
