Re: Is it better to analyze against /BTC or /USDT?
by
MooWho

The simple answer is "Yes, looking at /BTC is very important, even better than /USDT." In a Bull market most decent alts will show gains vs USD, and /BTC is more important to know if you are gaining or losing your BTC holdings.

Why choose /USDT instead of /USD? I cannot think of any reason to study movements related to a dangerous, un-audited scamcoin (way over-due to collapse) when you can study vs a dangerous, fiat currency also over-due to collapse dramatically.  Shocked

Re: [ANN] LandDAO - Your Gateway to Tokenized Land Ownership

Any recent updates, how is the dev going?

How does LandDAO plan to implement fractional ownership in areas like Ghana? I’m really interested in investing in plots there, especially since I’ve been to the Kwahu Mountains and see the potential. What specific steps do I need to take to get started, and how can I make sure I'm making a smart investment?

Great question! LandDAO will share specific details about this process at a later time.

To get started, head over to LandDAO and join our waiting list to be among the first to access our exclusive land RWAs

I am happy to see so many interested in LandDao people here,

when it comes to answers from Team then please use official channels to reach the Team and talk with directly

also Medium is great source of info: https://medium.com/@landdao_land
I just wanted to suggest that adding a Telegram channel would be a great addition to the current platforms. A lot of people find Telegram easier and more convenient for quick updates and direct communication. It could really help streamline conversations and make it more accessible for the community. What do you think?

Thank you! We already have a telegram channel here - https://t.me/landdao_rwa

Fractional ownership sounds amazing!

I searched all 3 pages of the thread and didn't find a single mention of property taxes. Assuming the "team behind the project" helps with that, where does the money come from, how do people know for certain the taxes are being paid every time, etc?

I'm interested in understanding more about how fractional ownership operates on the platform. How does the process work for buying and selling shares of land? Additionally, how are profits from land appreciation distributed, and what are the key steps if a member wants to take physical possession of their share of the land? It would be great to get more details on these aspects! Aside from that, who are the team members running this?
It’s great that you’re looking into how fractional ownership works on LandDAO, there’s a lot of potential here. You buy shares of land via tokenized NFTs, which represent your stake. Buying and selling those shares is straightforward on the platform’s marketplace, allowing you to trade your ownership easily. Profits from land appreciation are distributed to NFT holders based on their share percentage, making it simple to benefit from property value increases. Taking physical possession of your share may require navigating local laws and specific project terms, but it’s possible in some cases. It’s also a good idea to dig into the team behind the project, as their expertise in real estate and blockchain is key to its success.

The team will provide specific details on this later

Wow man, have you considered exiting the internet for a while? Being consumed by excess negativity does not help you or anyone you come in contact with. Good luck to you in attempting to heal your soul, peace.

Covid-19 made us socially inept and stupid, but that is no excuse. You won't even recognize good solutions to this problem because you are f@#$ed up. This means that we will have many more pandemics. They will all cause you to lose even more social skills and intelligence. Oh. And some of the symptoms include brain fog. This will cause you to become even more f@#$ed up than you were before. Is that what you f@#$ing want? I think so. You reject solutions in favor of your own stupidity.

Regards,

-Joseph Van Name Ph.D.

P.S. After those pandemics that you refuse to prevent, we will have unstoppable bacteria that will ruin Earth.

Re: The impact of Bitcoin ETF on Bitcoin and the cryptocurrency market!
by
MooWho

The recent approval of Bitcoin ETFs has opened a new turning point for Bitcoin as well as the cryptocurrency market. It brings extremely positive impacts to the development of this market in the future. Let me list what those impacts include!

1. Attracting traditional investors
The EFT Bitcoin Fund is like a certificate proving the legitimacy of this market. It helps traditional investors alleviate concerns about the legitimacy of this market. They boldly pour capital into this market through ETF funds, and this is not a small and extremely stable source of capital for the market. It will create a good premise for countries that previously banned or did not support Bitcoin to become more open in the near future.

2. The market will gradually stabilize and grow more sustainably
Before there were ETFs, the cryptocurrency market was considered an extremely volatile market, sometimes fluctuating up to several dozen to several hundred percent. This not only causes confusion for participants, but also creates extremely risky psychology for those who want to learn about this market. But when ETFs come into play, they can help mitigate this wild and volatile volatility. ETFs will provide diversification, and they are also the ones who will regulate the market, making the market more stable, reducing risks for investors.

3. Bitcoin's popularity and acceptance soars
This is quite obvious when the major US ETFs were approved, which brought huge worldwide attention to Bitcoin. From there, they will learn what Bitcoin is, and help promote Bitcoin to a larger number of users by chance. Besides, they will understand what it is like to use Bitcoin in daily life as well as in other fields besides the financial market, who in the past they only viewed Bitcoin as a speculative product, and only for fraudulent purposes.

4. Create more jobs related to the crypto field
The appearance of ETF funds will lead to a strong wave of investment capital flowing into the market to develop projects. The cryptocurrency market goes hand in hand with technological development, so attracting capital inflows is very easy. That opens up more space and economic potential for projects to develop, meaning they will have to expand their company scale and human resources. The labor market in the information technology industry as well as crypto has been very hot in recent years. And I firmly believe that the recruitment demand in this crypto industry will increase with the development of the market.

In short, the launch of Bitcoin ETFs I think brings a lot of positive things and opportunities to many people. This can be considered a period of transferring humanity's wealth, opening a new era for all of us. Let's find out and seize this opportunity!

This post seems to deserve some merit, imo, sorry I don't have any to give. Yes, all of the above is true, the ETF's are a huge step forward for BTC to sustain long-term growth.

Re: Bitcoin's last big rally in this cycle
by

fyi: This topic is currently posted in "Altcoin Discussion", so I was expecting to discuss the way BTC Bull markets tend to effect Altcoin cycles. Let's do that? Historically, alt/BTC used to be strong when btc/usd fell fast ("correcting" from a rally) since the better alts where maintaining much of their USD value. However, once the "mania top" is in and BTC is extremely Bearish, then the alts take a severe hit since the frightened masses are selling their alts to also exit BTC ASAP.

Good news: On the Bullish "Big Rally" BTC side, making money with Alt/USD is easy, and sometimes you can also gain much more from Alt/BTC going up too.

Re: Is Bitcoin Dominance Going Down?

Bitcoins Dominance Percent seemingly is going down. Any thoughts or comments are more than welcome.

I read less than two weeks ago about BTC showing a strong rebound in Dominance Percentage (as the chart above showed for most of 2019), so what you are seeing is probably a small move in the other direction. Overall, there is not currently a real threat to Bitcoin's awesome dominance.

Thanks for the squares contest. Might be better if the first post mentions the deposit requirement.
