Re: How do you feel about YOU scamming back scammers?
by
MoonsGravity
on 24/05/2020, 17:46:52 UTC
Obviously, when someone willfully does something bad to you, they have to be open to revenge. The problem is that it's not a matter of just scamming back a scammer. You would have to come up with a very good scam, and that's just not that simple. So people default to punching them out or something.

Kobe Bryant had a close to perfect life. Filthy rich, admired, championships, opportunities, and so much more. And then look at what happened.

Re: Why do people get credit cards loan?

I've been using my credit card to buy random stuff a lot for two reasons. 1 are to collect points. The 2nd reason is because I always seems to overdraft my debit by some unexpected unknown bill. Leaving me with a large fee.

What you're referring to already happened a long time ago. You're using the old term of "Global Warming," when many, many years ago it was changed to climate change.

Re: Maybe Trump is telling the truth, and the media is lying.
by

One doesn't have to look hard to see what's exaggerated and what is twisted. The problem is that people are emotionally invested in their side. So if Trump has an innocent conversation, the other side say he was abusing his power, he releases the conversation, it shows that his words are being twisted, but the people who are already against are blind to see that the whole thing was exaggerated.

Re: Did we actually really land on moon?

....Because most people know that it is impossible to land on the moon.

Six American manned craft landed on the moon, a total of twelve men.

and three electric vehicle waiting patiently for the next guy doings some wheel spins

Those ran on two 32aHr batteries each. It's rather amusing how small that battery pack would be today. So yeah, bring your battery, hook it up, and that moon buggy should go!

Not sure where you get the info from the 32 aph batteries, this NASA site says 121 Ah

Power was provided by two 36-volt silver-zinc potassium hydroxide non-rechargeable batteries with a capacity of 121 amp-hr. (242 Ah)

Unloading one of them

Is this^^ an actual photograph?     Cool

How can anyone claim it was faked when looking at that photograph.

Spotty logic. You have doubts because technology 50 years ago was lesser than technology now. You have to ask yourself why wouldn't the Apollo computer be capable of doing what it did. You're basically ignorant on the matter.

Metal band Testament + privcy = $$$ Smiley
Testament is huge band with a lot of fans. It's huge exposure. Also Coinmarketcap listing is pretty good exposure as well. Only missing Crex24 change on CMC.  Hope they will add soon.

yep, it also means we are now more likely for future partnerships, because now we have some kind of integrity imo.

The Testament news really legitimized the project for me. Not that I had any doubts, but this was like the cherry on top. Because such partnership confirms that this is not just a pump and dump coin like 99% of AD. Testament would not be associating themselves with something that's not legit.

Re: sell bitcoin to buy fiat or altcoin?

If I had some Bitcoins at the moment, I would use it to buy altcoins that I think might have a future. Not all of it, but I would buy some. And also take a little bit to pay bills. But I don't have Bitcoins, everything is in alts.

You're basing your questions, coming to your conclusion simply based by number of Bitcoins ATM by country. Number one by far was Bitcoin, with 554 ATM, 3rd is the UK with 47.

The US has is big. Very big, and has a lot of people. 554 ATMs is nothing. Like seriously nothing. Basing your conclusion on number of Bitcoin ATM is meaningless.

Re: Bitcoin and Globalization

Globalization plan? Such plans, if they are being developed by the elite is not done for the kindness and happiness of man kind. And currency that's out of their control neither.

What you described is unrealistic because each individual human has their own wants, needs and agenda. For people to all "Really be civilized," would require for all humans to be like a piece of clay, easily brain washed, and for these caring elites to have found the right formula for these pieces of clay that they love oh so very much.

That's not realistic.

I think bitcointalk had an announcement a couple of months ago about the Electrum wallet having some sort of new vulnerability, and for everyone to update immediately. So there's your answer.

There are too many factors that has to be consider. Unseen event that might come along. So really no one can truly know what Eth will be in the future.

I don't think it's a bad idea. Look at the market, look at all the scams. It makes sense for such a large company to try and be responsible like this. Sure it won't benefit you, but it will benefit the noobs.

I say take half of what you need today. That way if it grows you will get a little benefit, if it falls, then at least you saved yourself from taking it all on an even worse day.

Re: Bithumb under attack ?
by
MoonsGravity
on 24/06/2018, 20:51:36 UTC
Excellent response shown by Bithumb to compensate the users loses with big amount of money, perhaps this responsibility of Bithumb drive the effect to Bitcoin price increasing recently.
it is fitting that a large company is responsible for any problems that occur, as it could be a positive feedback from users who have received compensation from bithumb
Yeah giving compensation to every affected users might get their morale up but the problem is their security just how did the hackers attack this particular site. That's the problem for as of now in bithumb to know the cause and solve it then compensate every user. I think even bithumb might have hard time giving all those money to users it's like double loss.

I don't know how much Bithump charges to list a coin in their exchange, but places like Binance charge around a million dollars. If they charge such fees then $30,000 is nothing.

Re: How has the present computerisation of the societies affect your own society?
by
MoonsGravity
on 21/06/2018, 03:48:14 UTC
The good outweigh the negative, but computers, the internet in particular has kind of made the quality of life of certain people much worse. For example I think it would be a lot more irritating and annoying being a teenager now, with most of them constantly checking their Facebook, seeing if they got a new text and so on. It sounds like an annoying stress. Real stress over something useless.

I'm glad it didn't really affect the price, I guess people see this as a norm. Too many Bitcoins not in cold storage. I really hope they find the people who did this.
