Mass adoption for cryptos is growing. It just a matter of time other big companies will accept BTC. Altcoins are also doing great and this is helping BTC gain mass adoption. You can't introduce any altcoins to a newbie without explaining BTC.

It's still a good time to buy some alts, I will recommend those in the marketplace. Countries that were under lockdown restrictions are lifting those bans and it seems things are going back to normal.

I did a lot of research before joining crypto and i know there are two market seasons (bull market and bear market) which happens in crypto and none of these seasons is permanent. Once we are in the bear market, i'm happily buying more valuable coins because the next season will be the bull market.

I don't think the imposition of tax after the governments accept crypto will be the problem for crypto users because most of crypto users are already paying taxes on the secular jobs. Although the regulations will check the scam ICOs and eliminate the FUD in some investors, cryptocurrency will cease to be decentralized even though the underlining technology is decentralized. The government will manipulate it and control it just as the fiat. Where then will lie the difference between fiat and cryptocurrency?

I understand you're making your point out of a loss incurred during this bearish market. However, this does not guarantee your point that the market will continue to decline. Check the market prices now and you will see there is an improvement after sustaining the terrible drop. Cryptocurrency has faced similar and worst moments than this in the past yet there was a bull market in December, 2017. Let's be patient.

The recent drop in market caused a great turmoil in the crypto space. But it appears that most crypto users are always looking at the negative side whenever the market goes down. It is rather smart and profitable to look at the positive side whenever the market goes down in order to seize the opportunity and buy the dips which offers relatively low prices.
