Re: Trusting your budget in times like this.

It is very important for every man to have a budget on how to spend to avoid being broke or overspending. But some people I take myself for an instance no matter how I make my budget at some points I still exceed it so I really need your thoughts guys.
And at the same time having a successful budget and maintaining your budget depends on the situation of your country in a country where prices of goods are not stable it would be very difficult to have a trusted budget.

So how do you manage your budget in a rotational economy I think I myself would need to hear from you guys.

Even if you have one source of income, always, if it is, for example, a salary, as soon as you receive it, set aside even a large amount, but steadily, every month and then find something to reinvest this money in.

Re: Will you still gamble?

The motive of this thread is for us to discuss what will be you stands if online casinos charges you fees on each game you play on them, same way excahges charges you on each trading position you open, and why should excahges charges fees and casinos not charging such fees, First of all the First objective of every business is to generate revenues, so at first I wasn't curious about this, but recently I began to wonder why the difference between excahges and casinos when both have similar features which are licensing and KYC.
If exchanges take trading fee's their call it value added taxes which some part get remitted to the government.
But online cryptocurrency casino's act in the same vain because both trading and Gambling are the same it all aim at either profits or lose, but while gambling plartforms let go of the fees, exchange charges us on each regardless wether we make profits or lose in the trading position.

I think that these are slightly different things and the casino does not position itself as a platform for generating profit. And the exchange takes a commission for transactions within its system, so I don't think it's reasonable to compare the two platforms.

Re: Is Signals for Casino games a real thing?
by

on 08/08/2024, 12:10:45 UTC
So today I came across a post on a WhatsApp TV that caught my attention. I have seen different telegram channels, groups, WhatsApp TVs and groups post sport bet codes and claim that their predictions are always 100% correct (which in reality is not) but never have I seen anywhere that signals are being given for casino games.

Basically, what they image (below) means is that - you’ll be added to a group and then the so-called “signal provider” will give you the exact time and multiplier that a specific game (e.g Crash) will get to before it stops.

https://talkimg.com/images/2024/07/25/44cnw.jpeg

I’d like to hear your thoughts on this, do you think something like this is possible? Or it’s just a means to scam people off their money? I personally know that even the casinos don’t know the exact numbers that will come up next not to talk of an outsider.
I don't believe in signals at all. To me, it's a complete scam. Yes, maybe a few signals will be profitable, but then you will lose 100% of what you spent on entering such a channel.

Re: Media and Gambling, How does it work?

How often do public perceptions and media narratives influence betting odds in ongoing leagues, and how can bettors exploit these discrepancies to find value bets?

I don't think that casinos will increase their odds because of the developed media. These are large companies that know how to build a system that is profitable for them, and I don't think they need to raise the odds.

Re: If you want to be close to wealth you need to work together other people

Even in here crypto you don't notice that always but you do work together with large number of people.
You work together with people from all around the world even If you don't know that you work together with them.
So the money is amount of people you reach the trading investing so you work together with many people.
You sell to someone they buy from you that's exchange and that's the cooperation.
Alone just you it's allmost impossible to get any success you need be connected with large network of people.

Network is key and your life time income because where is the people there is the money.
Sell icecream with 1$ profit to 10 people you only make 10$ profit but sell ice cream to 1 mil people you make 1mil of USD profit same with everything the larger the network of people the more money you make.

That's why it's not good to say i do it all alone because nobody cant really do it alone we need others either we admit that or not.
In general, everything is interconnected. I believe that no success has been achieved without networking.

Re: So dollar collapse ?

When dollar collapse ?
I keep seeing on Youtube and from experts the dooms day for USA and dollar ?
Actually dollar collapse means weak dollar and its not bad thing it means lower rates of fed so it's good for economic boost.
But i ask when the dollar colllapse lol? They keep telling us how bad is the dollar and so much doom and gloom.
So are we really see dollar collapse ? And when ?
It's grazy how much everybody talking about end of usa and dollar...it sounds funny also.

I don't believe in the collapse of the dollar and the end of the US, it's just fud, as usual, which is now just pouring in at a high rate. We are definitely going to see big changes, especially looking at the situation with the way the government has stepped in to regulate cryptocurrencies.

Re: Gambling winnings should NOT be taxed
by

In my country (Australia) ALL gambling winnings and profits are 100% tax free.

You don't have to declare it because it is considered a hobby.

In the USA and other countries gambling winnings are treated the same as income and gambling companies are required by law to withhold federal income taxes.

If I had to pay taxes I would quit gambling. The risk wouldn't be worth it.

Does your country tax gambling winnings and if so do you declare it yourself or does the gambling operator withhold the taxes on your behalf?

I have the same position. If winnings were taxed, I would definitely stop playing.

Re: Can people still get the addictive nature through friendly games

Good day friends

Yes the topic name somehow portrays what am about to explain although for a female gender and plus the current society where am staying this kind of habit is somehow strange but I guess most persons must have witnessed it.

So the other day me and my friends both male and female were involved in some house old friendly games like food competition, card game, thumb wrestling and so many more and take to note, all these activities were done just for old times sake and meet between old friends at my place as it included both my husband and his friends but I witness something rather uncalled for.

So I noticed that there were this particular group of guys who really went all out with the friendly and even getting to the extent of making serious argument and almost taking it to the next level for games that were just played for fun purpose and nothing more, it got so worse that the whole atmosphere changed and he instigated that they added some monetary value to the game that he is certain that he isn't going to lose easily and to cut the long story short it went on and on till he barely had much left with him anymore and I had to call the whole thing off and even asked that he money was given back to him but his pride and Shame couldn't allow him to take it back.

So am just curious to know if these little games are the one's that got to him or already developed such habit and to know if possible that the practice will continue elsewhere after leaving there when he lost the money and to look for means through gambling to recover it.
God, it's horrible, but I also have a few friends who are probably addicted, based on your story. This is especially true when friendly gatherings with a game of cards turn into a game for money.

Re: Do you think gambling every day is better?
by
Morr1s
on 23/04/2024, 15:40:28 UTC
I'm not sure that gambling every day can increase our chances. I don't fully agree with this idea because I bet on sporting events. But if I played casino games, I would take more risks on the days I won. I would gamble every day with little money and test my luck and then take risks according to the situation. But as I said before, I don't trust my luck in casino games, because most of the time I have bad results. I lose money. So instead I bet on sports events. If there are no good matches in the fixtures, I don't bet. If there are good matches and good analysis, I bet on them.

Casino games are quite addictive due to its optimized fast nature of providing results. Unlike sport gambling where the gambler has lots of time to decide on whether to pick a specific team or not based on their past analysis of performance and action. That doesn't remove the fact that everyday participant in sports games will also not influence the chances of winning. Should I call it addiction or greed, some gamblers who wager money on teams they've got no valid information on their performances, are close to facing the same fate with slot players. The slot player is at an advantage because of his knowledge of this occurrence, based on how slot games were designed to operates.

Sports gaming is quite good if a player is weekly wagering money on his favorite teams, which he's made some strong analysis on during the weekdays. Doing this helps a player to have enough time to think, more than a slot player who does not need to run any analysis. Capable of influencing the results of his game. However, a well-scrutinized sports analysis doesn't guarantee a gambler would win the game. But players still learn from doing this weekly research on football games. Another valuable asset of sports gambling, it helps players to be advanced in sports events.
In my opinion, both sports betting and slots are equally addictive. In slots, you are looking for a strategy on how to hit the jackpot by manipulating the bet or going through the slots, and in sports events, it is a search for insider information about the match you want to bet on, plus dealing with team scales, player injuries, and so on. In both cases, you need to have a sober head so as not to turn the game into an addiction.

Re: Do you think gambling every day is better?

There was a friend of mine who visited me a day after and he was saying gambling every day draws you more closer to winning.

I asked him how?

He said when you keep trying luck every day you stand the chance not to miss your luck of winning, he also made reference to few people around our locality who won outrageous Money within 31 Dec to 1 January 2024, asking if I knew how often those people keep trying for them to have the winning they got.

I said No! He then say the more you space the more I missed my chances of winning but what I came to understand is that, the more anyone keeps trying the slimmer such persons turns into gambling addiction becus such person will always want to gamble regularly stirring up some forms of pressure to himself. When there is no money to gamble such person don't mind going extramile to source for funds since he has install this mentality of regularly gambling without giving break.

My question is do you think gambling every day is better? From his reasoning and points of narrations.
Based on your friend's logic, it could be successful in principle. But, how much money will be spent on the game and will the winnings be big enough to cover the expenses?
I see here only the search for a successful strategy based on the game's dependence (IMHO).
I understand that this should be considered from the perspective of different people/situations. For example, I sometimes like to gamble, but I have a sum of money that I can lose and it does not affect my life in any way - in my opinion, this is a smart game.

Re: advice for a beginner
by

on 19/04/2024, 09:44:09 UTC
Hello, I'm a new trader. I started a month ago. I deposited $100, and now I've lost $40. Any advice for me? I watched some YouTube videos and found a technical analysis video which helped a lot. I started not losing as much. Sometimes I even earn. But even though, I feel so lost. Like every day, I see some random coins get boosted. Some people earn from how they know that coin will go up. I'm sorry for my bad English; it's not my first language.
I am also a newcomer to this field, but I, for example, decided to start not with trading, but with finding interesting projects in which to perform activities. Of the latter, it was Linea Park. Low costs, activities are quite simple, after the update from ETH, even gas was quite cheap. Among the disadvantages of this area (let's call it drop hunting), you don't know how much you will get, when and if you will get it at all. I'm still learning the basics of trading, but technical analysis is very difficult. I can't even imagine how much time it takes to find your own strategy and make it at least a small percentage profitable.

Re: Be rich sheeple or free people, what's your choice?
by

on 17/10/2023, 12:45:49 UTC
I was at the beach after having my evening half rack, same boring night walk scavenging for forgotten or used fleshlights and I was thinking, what if instead of one of those magic toys I get my macho pride stuck in a genie bottle? But after hitting the genie so hard in his head probably he will only be able to grant me one wish, and that on shitty conditions, what if I asked him to make me richer then Satoshi but I'd have to choose:

- Bitcoin gets accepted everywhere, every government legalizes it, all mining is centralized, everyone must register every address with the local IRS, you're not allowed to send money outside legal addresses and miners are refusing those, every single transfer is taxed, the government can decide at any point to seize your coins and can do that with ease. BUT the value will go up 1000x times to 30 big ones!
- Bitcoin is not legal tender, but the genie makes it so that the government has no way and no intention of making any move against it, nobody is banning you from owning, nobody is taxing you, nobody cares about your KYC, AML, taxes, profit, any legal action against anything that involves Bitcoin is impossible and illegal, any seizure impossible as it would break the law, you're as free as one can be. But the price stays forever at $30,000.

No middle way, no trick, no further questions, no this or that, your choice and tell me why this and not that!

I would choose option 2. I think 30k is a normal price, but the price of anonymity is much higher.
