on est condamné à rester Jr.Member ici c'est clair les hauts rangs se donne les merits entre eux. Faut arrêter de faire les naifs en disant " si tu publies des posts constructifs tu auras des merites".
J'ai regardé les posts ayant reçu des merits et l'extrême majorités sont des punchlines ou des posts ne servant à rien données et reçu par des hero sr legendary member.
La pluparts ayant obtenu leurs rangs à base de posts de liens twitters, facebook ou encore des " Nice Project..."
d'ailleurs vous verrez les hauts rangs commentant se genre de Topics pour dire que c'est un bon systême, évidemment ce qui est rare est chère !
conclusion c'est une grosse perte de temps pour les Nouveaux, vous êtes et resterez pauvre pendant que les anciens se gaveront . il vaut mieux passer sur steemit ou reddit.

Obvious merit abuse (buy/sell and exchange/swap) will be punished by give the account negative trust or/and ban the account which makes the account worthless (read : can't join signature campaign) and the users wasting their limited sMerit and time.
With active users report, merit work as intended. Also, few members generously give merit to members who try to make constructive posts.

Merit is created for anti-shitposter not for trading and how does it go now? It currently benefit for most of high rank member in bitcointalk forum.
Later on, new members, beside spend a lot of time, have to spend their own money to buy sMerit to reach a higher rank. What a failed system.
Example: if you was in bitcointalk forum a few years ago, you posted a lot of under-quality posts and you earned Legendary Rank, so it is unfair with new people joining this forum now.

Currently, another problem is occurred. Merit system has been questioned a lots. Group of people, they will cheat by giving their own team member, partner, friends their Merit score, even their posts are spam posts. How are bitcointalk dev gonna control that?

If spammers who aren't getting any Merit and can't rank up quickly will leave forum, it will prove that Merit system works as intended. It wont affect new users who are making good posts because they will get Merit and will reach higher rank sooner or later. And if you came here to read, discuss and learn something, you don't need to worry about your rank much.
