Rat4, will the blackcoin have new functions? Do you know EOS? The world of block chains has changed greatly. Do you have any ideas? Can you talk to us? Say something casually.
Why is it since the new wallet staking has been crap..for me? 47k staking and I received six (6) coins for all of 2017, very weak imo 8(
You must have made something wrong. Check the blockchain an in/out of the huge staking wallets. 47.000 coins should give you 5 BLK a day, something like that. Something between 3 an 10 I guess.
For new money to make it to alts it must first go through BTC. When a BTC surge begins to level off expect huge surges in various alts. VIA is a solid project, and at this point it wont take much to skyrocket the price. Be patient and don't let emotion effect your decisions...
For a newbie on this website you make a very mature and fundamental point. Did your legendary account get hijacked or something and you had to start over? :-D
Not totally true anymore, as I've now been buying LTC instead on coinbase since the fees are cheaper.
True. BTC is no longer the only doorway from traditional currencies into crytpo, but it is still, for the most part, the gateway to the alt coin world. Some exchanges will trade ETH or XMR for a handful of alts, but BTC is still the only real way to speculate throughout the entire altcoin landscape.
I sure would like to see some new development with this coin. I had high hopes for it when it came out, followed it for a while, got away from it, checked back in, and it looks the same as it ever was...
Janko33bd and Vinceblk are both almost always available there.
This bitcointalk thread is fairly ignored.
I went there and it's very active, but I'm not a member and don't feel like joining yet another online doodad that I'm going to forget my password for, but I do have a suggestion that can be passed along if somebody thinks it's worth it. Any bounty for my brilliant scheme would be appreciated...
A long time ago there was an internet service provider called Juno, and you could get free internet if you allowed them to use your dormant, online computer to perform complex mathematical computations, and Juno would find buyers that needed this service, presumably make money, and for letting them use your computer you got free internet. The cumulative power of thousands of computers hooked together made a sort of supercomputer, according to Juno. I've long thought that a proof-of-stake wallet could provide this same kind of functionality and reward the wallet holder with a higher stake payout. I have absolutely no technical ability to make this happen, but always thought it would be a great option for crypto coins.
Just so you know, gitter uses github and twitter accounts, don't have to sign up for anything if you have either of those.
actually, I do think as well that Viacoin is way underpriced.. I got some now and wanted to place them on my Nano Ledger S. Does anyone know which blockchain I should select? Is it "Viacoin" or "Viacoin Segwit"? Or what's the difference? Thanks a lot.
Good to store it there. You should go for viacoin Segwit
How safe is it to store coins in Ledger nano compared to Exchanges? Misplacing or loss of ledger device or device not working after transfering coins to it!
There's a long history of exchanges closing (mtgox, cryptsy, etc) and others acting flaky and making it difficult to withdraw when they run into problems (poloniex, bitfinex come to mind). Do not leave coins on an exchange EVER unless you are comfortable loosing them.
Unless you alone have the private keys, those coins are not yours. Store it in your own wallet always.
yes wallet it the good place. backup the wallet.dat you can save you coin everywhere you want to store
