MrBigHang, I bought in about $8800. It is a bit worrying. I'm not sure if i should be putting in a sell just before it hits that or not. I wouldn't want caught in a trap and sell, then a second later it reverses.
Sounds like you are trying to day trade. Looking at the charts daily means that you are day trading and you will lose. Everyone pays tuition day trading and tuition these days are high. Day trading is an emotional game and it sounds like you don't have the stomach for it. Bitcoin doesn't go up in a straight line.
If this is a true investment, you'd buy and forgot for a year.

What number did you buy in at? We might be going down to 4-5k. Bitcoin hype is dying down so there are no new buyers. We might be in a two to three year bear market. Only thing that can save BTC now is Wall Street Whales.

Re: Sentiments indicate globally disruptive event in 2018 that will tank markets
Elliot would be spot on with this and 2018-2020 bear market.
Entire marketcap of crypto is 400bill right now so the claim of hundreds of billions is a bit of an exaggeration if you own 40% of the market. You'd own practically the entire market if you had hundreds of billions, not 40 percent.

Re: Bitcoin CRASHES to $6K today as THE PROPHET warned in this forum
If you wanted to crash the USD/BTC market why would you head to Bittrex?
As for Richard Heart, he appears to be a hype merchant. His super whaleness probably amounts to his change left over after buying some (fake) Viagra via Silk Road.
Probably because the withdrawal limits are higher compared to other U.S. based exchanges.
Okay, I figured it out. That's a crazy amount of BTC. How did you come upon this address?

Now you see how volatile this market is. I wasn't predicting that LTC will get to $20. I was saying that I've seen MANY 90% drops from ATH in BTC and LTC. Those that can withstand such a drop without flinching are the ones with lambos eventually. The others pay for these lambos. https://t.co/ozcR11N68o
Words from Charlie, the man who sold all of his cryptos last December. Also, he created LTC.

I really do not know where to fall further. There's a wild support. Weekly MA20, daytime MA200, Fibonacci retracement of 61.8% of all annual growth, historical trend lines ... In general, all this should bounce off. When drains
let you go ... Here you are, the merchant traders. The reverse side of the ETF is yours. Let them do it .... I expected a general decrease in volatility when all this was beginning to be predicted. And it is - that's what it is Mihalych.
New post. He doesn't know how low we can go. Also, if someone is good with Russian, I'd like a better translation. Direct translation can be iffy.
Just to be clear, what would be the critical bearish limit before one should really get worried? As indicated by the below stated new lows?
I think that this market is headed well above 20000$ in the upcoming weeks/months, for completeness a possible bearish scenario would imply first a drop down to 7500$, a subsequent reaction to 9500$-10000$ before resuming the fall to new lows...
That's ENKY's analysis , he hasn't mentioned anything since that. Seems he has stopped analyzing the market
Does anyone else have any further analysis from where ENKY's analysis stopped, that's if they agree with it. Or do they have a contrary one, because it would seem this bearish trend isn't going away anytime soon?
it does seem that way. I think ENKY will post again, but, might be a while, he said he was busy in one of his last comments.
Also, would like pics as proof that you are in China! Take a picture with four fingers up in front of a landmark. You don't have to be in the picture, just need your hand with 4 fingers.
Ok, Feel like an idiot for doing this, but here are pics out of my apartment in China. I was in Beijing where I met up with people I've known in crypto since 2012 and yep indeed they're whales. There are no landmarks here in Cangzhou (hebei) and the best I'm gonna give you is pics out of the window as it's too bloody cold outside here.
The majority of Chinese BTC is done between the wealthy OTC direct and using banks in HK.. I never mentioned any Chinese exchanges as they don't trust them. Come here and see the cash economy for what it is..
There isn't a financial wall around china and moving funds for the wealthy doesn't change in any country.
Enjoy your smog filled air pics as I breathe the shit when I go outside.
heh, that's funny. Are the whales in love of BTC because it's the easiest way to get money out of the country? I've read that the country banned people from spending more than 50k over seas. I'm assuming that the people of China want to invest in anything but China because the government artificially inflates their money. That true? Keep us up to date on LTC BROTHER!
Short position ordered at $12485 with a stop-loss at $13017 on BTC/USD (Bitfinex).
With gains of +15% thus far, the short position from $12485 remains active with a stop-loss at $13017. Target range remains at ($8061/$7599) $7907 on average for an additional 25% gain.
Idealised and speculative Elliott Wave model indicative of price and structure, not time:
Are you expecting a big bounce once it hits 8k?

In order for the community to understand correctly, it is worthwhile to place thoughts on the current situation.
Volumes do not grow when falling. So while falling from ATN is considered a correction in the form of a bull flag or a pennant or something else.
Critical, I think the level of the beginning of the previous bottom, about 7700. Well, in general, closing in the negative zone of the weekly BB. While we close in the positive zone - everything is good from the bullish point of view.
Anyone know what he's saying? What does weekly BB and ATN stand for?
