I saw the news that Filecoin finally launched, and it made me remember the datacoin project. I'm glad to see it's still alive, but it seems to have been rather quiet in recent years. Is it still under active development? It's hard to tell if this is the main discussion forum anymore. Also, now that there are (at least) Filecoin, Storj/Tardigrade, Siacoin and MaidSafe competing in or near the crypto space, how will datacoin carve out its own niche?

If he is a scammer then what purpose does it serve to continue to post updates?  He has the money and the BTC so what more would he need?

Keep your GPU fans clean and you shouldn't have a problem.  My GPU fan got clogged with dust to the point that it stopped turning and the PC started to fail all the time.  The case fans were louder so I never noticed the change in sound.  The lesson is to check actively that you don't have dust buildup.

It would be nice if there was some kind of test to enable automated promotions from newbie to Jr.  For example, I've been reading these forums for quite a long time, but I didn't registered until I needed to post, so I'm not exactly new. I think I can answer advanced questions about bitcoins, and also It's not the first time I write on a forum, so I'm not a newbie. A simple test with 4 or 5 questions would allow people to prove they are ready to be "freed" to the "adult" forums.  Grin
