Re: [ANN] DGEX.com multicurrency exchange BTC <-> NXT no trading fees
by

Well it looks like I sent 10k NXT to the wrong address.
I missed one digit on the account number.
No idea how I could have been that careless.
NXT doesn't have reversible transactions right?

In any case I was stupid enough to make this mistake.
But DGEX really needs some improvements.
Allowing copy paste in the address confirmation should be disabled.
Withdrawals take way too long (I sent a small test transaction first but that hasn't even arrived yet).
And being able to cancel a transaction is a must.
So that in case of user error it can be corrected.
Since manual verification is done on your end, it shouldn't pose an issue.

Well here's hoping my luck starts turning soon.
But I'm pretty sure my appetite just flew out the window.

Received, wonderful.
Once my coins arrive I shall send you back double.

I think I have an account running. But the faucet is taking hours to send something.
All I need is a small amount to confirm I set up everything right.
Any gentlemen willing to help me out? 1 NXT will do.

I look forward to the extra documentation at launch.

Can't hurt to post wallet address.

However there is little information about this altcoin.
Find someone who can correctly translate for you.
Or else this thing is defintely doomed.

I'd expect to hit 2 BTC/share and maybe even dip under that.
But in the mid term more than 3.5 BTC seems like a fantasy at this stage.

Would rather have seen the dividends kept at around 0.019-0.022 instead of higher.
With the rest saved for a rainy day.

Hey, is 1000 more than 400?

Haha even though my blood is in the streets that comment had me laughing.
Well played on all fronts.

My apologies and best of luck with the auction.

It's always fascinating going through the post history of whales.
Selling BTC at 15 dollars each.
Wanting to sell AM shares for 1 BTC.
Even entering a raffle.

Any who, congrats on reaching MM level.
Don't spend it all in one place now.

this is a bit off topic but I thought it might be more proactive and than some of the recent "discussions" have been:

I'm working on a personal project creating some promotional visuals (posters, video spots, etc.) for BTC as a brand.

I was hoping I could get some feedback/critique as I respect more than a few opinions in here:

bold/braveBTC

be as critical as possible, I'm thick skinned.

I was expecting something awful considering how many "designs" people have posted online.
But these are actually quite nice.
Although some of the backgrounds don't work with the visuals (b001, b002, b004).
I'm not totally convinced about using nature in the background.
But for some reason mountain tops don't bother me as much.
Although I think the connection of the pattern and cities is a better match.
This could also look good when used in a video.

But I guess it depends on what image Bitcoin would want to convey.
Your design goes for less serious and more cool.
While the current image is serious with some nice playful animations.

tl;dr keep working and experimenting with it.
And maybe open a thread in Off-topic.
Also: +1 legibility

Monitoring this security with optimism once more.
Nice work and good luck.

I enjoyed that, thank you.
Even though it may not have been the best of recording equipment.

It was nice to hear the motivation about the company.
But also the confidence in Bitcoin.
I really hope you reach your target.
Because both Kenilworth and Bitcoin itself stand to gain wonderful perks.

However it's true that this IPO needs more attention from the community.
You talked about contacting podcasts.
I hope you'll contact the guys at the Plan B podcast:
http://www.jupiterbroadcasting.com/show/planb/
Maybe do a live interview there?

It wouldn't be a bad idea to do another one of these live sessions.
But make sure to explain a bit more slowly for people new to mineral extraction.
Which is probably most of the people on Bitfunder.
Maybe get the technical quality up as well (a decent microphone ain't expensive).
And minus all those people talking in the back.

In the meanwhile I'll talk to some of my small-time-investor-friends to see if anyone's interested.
You're starting to win me over, but not quite yet.
Hopefully I won't miss the next live session.
So I can ask some questions. Wink

Did I miss it?
If I click the link it says "We're sorry, this meeting is not currently active".

Hope someone recorded or has a summary.

EDIT: nevermind, resend confirmation and now I get a recording.

What's with all this zealotry?
Some people are asking questions about this security. And they should be allowed. Because most of them have concerns that they want put to rest. Before investing their money into AMC.

But then random people start getting into arguments with them.
If you've invested in AMC. Fine you seem to have trust.
But is it necessary that everyone follows your vision?

Seriously it's like a Mac vs PC discussion here.
Where everyone is fighting but nobody is winning.

And the idea of cleaning up the thread seems like an awful move.
I fear this thread will turn into a "open" discussion where only praise is accepted.
