Yeah, it looks like that, but with a small print: Ethereum has a good reputation, too. It isn't as pricey as BTC, but its blockchains and smart contracts are increasingly becoming commonplace, so in some way it IS a competition, anyway.

Re: Why do we need to regulate digital money

I don't really get it why we are afraid of digital currency regulation? I mean, if you are not engaged in any criminal activities, why would you want to prevent digital currency regulation, anyway? I'll give you more security and better trust by people, which will eventually promote it's growth and power, IMHO.
Greatest threat to the life on Earth is homo sapiens.
We ruin our one and only home with plastics, trash, climate change etc.
Today humanity consumes nature in the name of modernisation, however true modernisation can never arise from exploitation. We shall be in harmony with nature. Otherwise nature will get rid of us.
I certainly agree with that. In some way, we can say that a man is the Earths greatest threats because the man is ignorant and reckless...
Do you think that forex trading is difficult? how long is it difficult forex trading?
If according to ane itself really true forex trading is indeed difficult. But missed his pips. Not difficult to find profit, not too difficult to add analysis or strategy.
However,
1. It is difficult to stop when Profit / Loss lot 2. It is difficult to exit the market while not excited 3. It is difficult to leave the computer while floating minus 4. Difficult to sell OP errors 5. Difficult to CutLoss 6. It is difficult to stop when the target has been reached 7. It's hard not to be greedy
Well, that guy 7 is hard for a trader hehe
Happy trading guys emoticon-Congratulations
That is why we need to control our emotions while trading, and it can be obtained through experience in this field. But every field has hard faces too but if someone want to successful we need to overcome all the difficulties in their.Simply don't be too greedy.
Not being too greedy isn't that easy to master, but thank you!
Great tips and with that you can help many people.
I just wanted to add that experience is very helpful as well. If you do not have any experience in trading I will suggest that before using your real money for trading you try to feel trading by using a demo account. If you are in a rush to trade then do not put in a lot of money. Once you are comfortable then start putting a big money.
Thank you, guys! Very useful stuff! Have a good trading!

Yes, the world is ready for cryptocurrency. Otherwise, I don't think we would be using bitcoin and blockchain the way we do today. But don't confuse being ready for it and using it globally. It might take some time before BTC becomes as usual as any fiat

Nope. Unless a country's leaders do anything wrong with the tax money, in which case it's obviously a theft.

I guess it should promote transparency and responsibility for everyone and, probably, result in better living conditions through better management.

Re: Alternatives to death penalty?

Sometimes I have doubts as to whether death penalty really promotes good behavior and prevents crime.
For example, "Capital punishment remained a legal military option until 1983 when it was explicitly forbidden in the Constitution of the Netherlands. In 1991, all references to the death penalty were removed from Dutch law."
OR: "Dates for abolition of the death penalty. Capital punishment was abolished for all crimes committed in peacetime on 30 June 1921. Capital punishment was abolished for all crimes, including those committed in time of war, on 1 January 1973."
At the same time Sweden and Holland have crime rates that are lower than those of the countries where capital punishment remains....
Just some food for thought before bedtime

Being calm when the market falls (especially, when it lasts months... ARGH!) is by no means easy, but look at it this way. The market went down, but hey, you're still alive and kicking. Hopefully, you didn't put all your eggs in the same basket, did you? So you have something to live on. That's what I say to myself whenever anything happens because it isn't the market that should scare you, I say, it's the panic that may come from my negative emotions and lead to a big error I will regret... When I think of it, it helps, but it might not work for everyone, so find your own ways. If mine proves to be good for you, I'm happy

Re: How to get rid of emotions when trading
by
MrPresidentIM
on 19/07/2018, 22:21:28 UTC
In order to get rid of emotions when trading you'd better do something before you actually start trading. Just a couple of simple rules: - Never invest more than the amount you are comfortable with losing. Otherwise, you are very unlikely to manage your emotions and that is a recipe for losing your coins. - Take care of your health by working out and getting enough sleep. Don't forget about eating a balanced diet.
We all know how risky bitcoin is. Let's imagine the most riskiest money deposit situation. What do you think guys, will this moment ever come and banks decide to offer us Bitcoin deposits (e.g. fixed profit on 1 year deposit and etc). This can be very, very profitable for banks if they make correct decisions. P.S I don't mean freebitco.in's offer of holds on their wallet. I mean if official banks ever offer us this service.
I'm with all of those here who say it's a matter of time, i.e. as soon as the banks find a decent way to protect themselves from the loss on BTC, which could run way too high, I guess, they are going to offer btc deposits, etc. No doubt. I bet they've been working on it pretty hard.

Re: why do governments don't make BTC illegal worldwide ?

I don't believe it's technically possible. Besides that, I guess some governments are interested in transparency and control and, ironically, blockchain and btc are a part of technology that might potentially make the global economy more transparent, IMHO.
