epic controllers are not free but you can do really low with them

Wow looks promising. Do you know how low you can go?

I did try to remove 1 and 2 hashboards, but the problem is that each hashboard run at minimun 6-700w and they overheat with silent fans. If i could split the heat over all 3 board i could keep them cool and silent.

I have a S9 with braiins, and on the S9 i can underclock each board down to +-130w and i'm able to keep it cool at 400w total spreading the heat over all 3 boards. Enough to help keep my bathroom warm.

If the firmware on the S19j Pro would work the same as on the S9 i should be able to underclock it down to under 1000w on all 3 boards given that the S19J Pro have a normal power usage at 3.2Kw compared to the S9 at 1.4Kw. In theory..

Hei, just made a account here.

I'm tinkering with a Antminer S19JPro and want to use it as a space heater. Using Braiins OS+ now but it will not let me set a lower powertarget than 1700w for all 3 hashboards. Is there other firmware i could use?

To make it quiet enough to be used at home and not overheat i need less than what braiins os can do.

Hey!

I want to re use a S19 J Pro i have as a space heater, the problem is noise an power usage. Currently i am using braiins OS+ and the lowest power limit i can set is 1700w for all 3 hasboards. The firmware will not let me go any lower. And the hashboards overheat with Noctua fans running ar 2000rpm (for noise)

Ideally would be if it was possible to set it at 1kw for all 3 hasboards.

Om my S9 i can set it as low as 300w and it enough to run it with low noise as it help keeping the bathroom warm. 1.7 kw is too much for the appartment and too noisy.

Anyone else been experimenting with this?
