This has become a big issue because I've recently been scammed by a senior account that was sold by the name of silverleafy. I've following the litecoin address that he used and apparanrently let to multiple transfer into an account with about 500 lite coin.
That is his litecoin address but if you track his transfers on www.blockcypher.com with the following address...who knows how many of those lite coins came from scamming people.

I tried to buy some coupons from silverleafy too. I bailed when he told me to go to telegram.
Other red flags:
Said will accept PayPal. Then refused saying "i'm not doing PayPal anymore because someone just opened a dispute."
Said will accept escrow. Then went silent when I offered to contact OgNasty. After I asked again - told me to contact him on telegram.
silverleafy had some other threads, GPU sales (very suspect), some deleted threads in currency exchange etc. Basically trying to sell ANYTHING. No real trade feedback, possibly some alts posting in his thread like
Broomy101 newbie account "purchased" coupons with half hour after thread was opened
Skipbay69 another suspect "trader" never interested in miners suddenly "buying" Bitmain coupons

This is the type of sh!t that ruins a community that's built on trust. Honest people doing honest business seems to be harder to do with these low lifes that are scamming people. I've recently been scammed for the amount of $610 in lite coin in a deal exchange for some bitmain coupons. Conveniently the telegram account that we communicated on was deleted and also the OP in the link was also deleted. This is was i have that's left. The telegram account he went by was Sergey. In his profile it said he was an "entrenpeneur" from Russia.

Anyone who was scammed should proceed to open up a scam accusation against the account involved. You can do so here

Make sure to include your PM's and any other information you have to prove your case. If it appears to have been a scam a DT member will usually come along and tag OP as their tags are more visible to the community.
Also tag them with your feedback, as some people ( Not enough people) do actually read these.
As a rule of thumb you should always use Escrow, the cost may not seem worth it but then you see a case like this that serves as a reminder.

Yah.... orginally i was going to purchase just one coupon but he offered a better price for a couple. =( I seriously want to break this guys legs for the low life that he is...because i'm a nice guy...i won't but just want to show the amount of resentment i have for stupid stuff like this...

For sure i got scammed. I'm wondering if it would help if we started a stickied post with IG of names of scam accounts so people can cross reference with the thread as an extra step of precaution. I'll definitely escrow next time. We should probably have a stickied thread of a list of trusted members for escrow as well.

Just got scammed by this member who seems to have a senior member status. I was going to purchase a couple of $420 coupons from this member and got away with $600 worth litecoin without ever sending me the coupons. Conveniently its all deleted but i have the telegram conversations.
