Re: Tau-Chain and Agoras Official Thread: Generalized P2P Network
by

Wow.

I have just seen this project is not only alive, but doing really well!

I was going through my old password book from 2014+ and i made  a large investment in Agoras in Sept 2016.

i bought 225k Conis at 16k sats each (36btc total).  But thats all the info i have.

Id like to know, how we bought the coins, was it via Bittrex? And did we get the coins, i cant ever remember getting any tokens and in my note it said locked for 1-2 years.

Also, to make matters worse, Bittrex has now closed for business (no surprise) and i cant log into my account
(i have a feeling it was closed).

i guess the coins are now lost forever?  Can anyone help please?

The Withdraw cleared and went through and it was sizable sum.
<snip>
6. .... BLOCKED !!!!  (again, no explanation)  Thats right, after trying a withdrawal, waiting in "Pending" it gets BLOCKED after 30 mins.
Wait, so were you able to withdraw your funds or not?  The way your post was written, it's unclear as to whether you were successful or whether you went through all that KYC bullshit just to have your withdrawal blocked at the very last step.

It's true I haven't read every post in this thread, but you're the first member with an established history on bitcointalk who's posted that they got their money back from HitBTC--but I'm not sure if you did.  Can you clarify that for me?

Also, you're absolutely right about using a burner phone, but it's ridiculous that you'd have to submit your real dox to them in order to withdraw.  As was stated in previous posts, these guys are total scammers and there's no telling what they're going to do with your personal info.  I'm pretty sure they don't actually need it to satisfy any regulators.

Hi The Pharmacist, Yes, i was able to withdraw all my funds, 1.5btc worth as well, so a big chunk of cash.  When i passed kyc and they sent me the email to tell me account fully restored, i tried to withdraw and it failed (last Friday) i had to send another Customer service form and Monday, i get same email, saying account was fully restored.  I done the withdrawal as before, it gave me "Pending" BUT this time after 50mins it Cleared! And i received all of my funds.

So, i had to think "outside of the box" i dont think they will hand over funds to "joe public" (normal people).  IF people want to know what i done, please DM me.   It requires using ID of a person from "the law" i think this is how i got my money back.

HitBTC is Scamming People that is crystal clear.

My Recent Experience.

1. Deposit coins.  Try to withdraw, account blocked (as what happens to everyone)
2. Submit form to customer support and im told i need to do KYC  (shock horror)
3. Submit photos, phone number and utility bill 500kb+ they need to be really perfect quality (this makes it easier for HitBTC to sell or use the ID to create fake id's of their own)

NOTE: they also ask for Phone Number... yeah, im sure this wont be used to try and Sim Hack/swap you.

4. Receive email (within 24hrs) to say KYC Passed!  and "Account fully operational".

You can guess whats  coming next right?

5. I go to withdraw altcoin (ETH)  To a address that was whitelisted a few weeks previously.

6. .... BLOCKED !!!!   Thats right, after trying a withdrawal, waiting in "Pending" it gets BLOCKED after 30 mins.  So CLEARLY the KYC is purely for them to use to try and scam you more, most likely they are desperately trying to hack into all exchanges possible with my info.

7. So you go through all the hassle of handing over "Sensitive" info, for only to be Blocked again. This is such a obvious scam is beyond belief.

All feels very automated i must say.

So 48hrs later after sending another request form to ask wtf is going on......  No response yet.  But this is what they do...

I fully expect a next message, to ask for more super private, personal information, to help them hack me more, like the "Proof of funds"  having to hand over all known transactions ids from the last year or more, information that is purely required to help them hack you.

WHY IS HITBTC STILL OPERATING? It seems they are so powerful and clearly super rich, they have best hackers in the world hired and stop any attempts to shut them down.  The worlds No.1 scam and its been operating since 2013......    No one can get to them..

Hitbtc 100% UNTOUCHABLE.

Re: Cardano (ADA): A New Cryptocurrency and More
by

Hello Everyone.

QUESTION Please.  When you have a bunch of $ADA where is best to make it grow?

Currently Kraken seems like a very good option (and most importantly safe and secure) for "staking".

4 - 6% returns (not exactly sure if it depends on level of account to get the 6% or its a case of fluctuation)

Key advantages to staking with Kraken:

Start accruing and earning rewards on ADA instantly, with no waiting or lockup periods.
Enjoy one of the highest returns in the industry
Receive payouts on a regular schedule, weekly
Quickly exit from your staking position if you want to trade or withdraw by transferring tokens from your Staking Wallet back to your Spot Wallet
Available for Starter, Intermediate and Pro account tiers

Interested to know what other people "use".

Thank you.  Cool

EPIC!!!

Well well well!   Look who showed up to the party.  The infamous Mr. White.   Its been a long time since youve trolled dash.  Welcome back is in order.   No need to lie that you were just holding dash...we know you've been hating in dash for years.  Thought you'd disappeared...guess not.

Hello,

You must be confusing me with someone else.  The last time (before a few weeks ago) i Bought Dash, it was called Darkcoin and i bought it on Mintpal, around 2014, 2015...  and sold it just before it first ever mega pump, that does still haunt me, would have made me four figure BTC even if i just hold sold 50% of the Mega Pump.  Anyhow...

Just to put the record straight.  Im not calling Dash a Scam, any coin alive and kicking since 2013+ gets a thumbs up from me, but any sign its partnering or promoting Scam sites, it gets dropped like a hot potatoe.

FACTS that CloudBet is a scammy as they come, i hope everyone here avoid it like the plague. Just have to look at the hundreds of reviews from the poor bastards that lost money there.

Anyhow... Carry on.

Why XEM's price is now ~50% greater than XYM's ?

Would have thought that it is vice versa.....

Many people are dumping. Whales like low price. They will buy with this low price then resell on pump.

NEM Support HitBTC.

HitBTC worlds biggest Scam.

NEM Supporting Scammers gives ZERO FAITH in project, thats why we see 1 BTC buy support and less than 3btc daily vol on XYM on Bittrex.

Thank You for this!  What is very interesting to see....  There are transactions with 0 balance as they wanted to "Leave a Message".

Click the You Tube Link for a nice surprise!

Also last message reads "Listing Me".   There for all to see.

Binance look certain to list $XYM.  If it does not pull a 3x on listing... Run..

HitBTC is 100% Scam exchange.

They never (well, maybe one in a milion) let you verify KYC.

They use your KYC for criminal activities. They sell it on to the worst people in the world.

Do NOT give them KYC, you will see many posts saying how people cant get verified and HitBTC asks for all kinds of id, letters, proof... to scam you again.

Report them to FBI  https://complaint.ic3.gov/default.aspx

(thats the real link to the Complaint Referral Form
Internet Crime Complaint Center FBI)

they owe me 3/4 of a BTC. I will very likely never see again, but im not going to let them bend me over and do me over and over, like a lot of you guys are letting them take your ass, FIGHT... STAND UP AND FIGHT!!!!

I really dont know if i want to LAUGH or CRY about this news.  Hitting new lows of "partnerships" thats for sure. What next? Partnership with  HitBTC?

https://probonoaustralia.com.au/news/2018/02/former-charity-head-found-guilty-misusing-grant-money/

"A former managing director of the Australian Rainforest Foundation (ARF) has been sentenced to 12 months imprisonment following an investigation into the misuse of almost $45,000 in Australian government funding.
"

All these "Foundations" are Scams, barely any of the donations ever go to where they are meant to.

Excellent Thread Thank you.

This needs said.  WARNING  - DO NOT SEND ANY ID TO HITBTC

They will use our id to sell to criminals to steal your identity.  These criminals can then, with your ID open bank accounts, apply for passports all kinds of things.  HitBTC also ask for Phone number (NO Exchange does this) They do this to them try and Sim swap/hack you and take every last penny from you.

they are currently holding nearly 1 BTC worth of $ETH token of mine.  The usual story, account get blocked and now they ask for KYC.

EVERYWHERE absolutely everywhere people are posting about how they get the "run around" KYC is NEVER verified and they just get trolled along for months on end.

Its time to bring this, THE WORLDS BIGGEST SCAM to its knees, FBI found and shut down Silk Road, surely they can shut down a .com exchange.

Coinmarketcap can clearly not be trusted, for keeping HitBTC scam exchange listed.

EVERYONE HERE. Please provide email to all companies so we can add to our own email when we file complaints.

there is no way i am going to let them get away with my money.

REPORT HERE ALSOhttps://www.ic3.gov/Home/FileComplaint

I'm impressed with the delgated harvesting yields of symbol compared to XEM.

The block bonus rewards really add up at this moment. Might be due to limited harvesting nodes/delegated stakers?

The Team and Developers own the most of the new $XYM tokens (which they got from free, having previous got a boat load of free XEM)

So they can and are reaping 99% of all rewards.   Its just like a 99% premine. But done in a less obvious way. I would not be surprised if the NEM team asked for exchanges to delay coins releases so they can pillage as much of the  rewards as possible before "John Doe" gets his coins.

Reddit page is a ghost town, no "Real" news from XEM/XYM team either.    Certified #shitcoin

PLEASE  Who is the best Crypto Lawyer i can contact?

HitBTC have scammed me also, i sent some tokens, they gave me the "ooh you sent to wrong address" BS speech.

"dont worry we will return coins"

55 days later, i now see 14 days ago, they withdrew coins from "old address" and , shock horror, they did not return funds to my address, but they sent it to their own address.

Are there any good hackers in the world, that can wipe this exchange of the face of the planet? Its ruined many lives and no doubt, people have taken their own life after loosing all the money to these crooks.

First. i want to go the legal way of handling this.

It's dead on arrival boys. Lets forget this scam ever existed.

To explain this a little more clearly.  No one... and i mean ABSOLUTELY Bleeping NO ONE.. with Trust anything from NEM Team.

Therefore the new token (Symbol looks like a 3 way purple dildo) is DOA Dead on Arrival.

Not to worry, the NEM team are super relaxed and calm....  i wonder why that is?

Give the SEC a call. Time to report another one.

Mark my words, this is going to drop to double digits. Then it will be delisted and the team will make some BS excuse about needing to concentrate fully on the new token.

Well, XEM price has fallen by 10%. It's more then I have expected. A lot of others assets reacted better for the last decreasing BTC price. Unforunetelly, it's hard to make any prediction about cryptomarket.

Its actually fallen by 35% in Satoshis (the only thing that matters)

Here another Pro Crypto Tip.

AVOID these Old Shitcoins.   They are dead broke, no money, so use snapshots / swaps to take money from noobs.

Crystal clear whats going on ooh and for the people who says "The Team has sold nothing" thats complete BS.  The address are so diluted and watered down, its hard to know who has what and who sold what.

Also AVOID any coin that has "Foundations"  always a very bad sign, just ask the long suffering ZEC supporters.

With anything in life, there are always lessons to be learned. I hope people here made some profits or at least did not take too much hard from this PnD event.

So guys what do you think? Can we see further increasing of price of XEM before snapshot will be done? In my opinion, there can be some price increase....

Been in this game since 2013.  I can confirm this is the biggest EPIC FAIL for any altcoin with a "Swap" coming up.  Clearly, the writing is on the wall.  Looks like "insiders" with 100m+ XEM have been opening big shorts on Binance and then using there big bags to unload, causing price to crash and at the same time earning them even more Bitcoin.

Well done, team, really well played!

STRONG Community. But do you have Strong Hands?

I have been very impressed with community and the whole XEM team! They are on point to answer questions and are really helpful and informative. This is rare in Crypto and goes a long way.

Xem, a rocket on the launch pad.
