It's like saying in the 90's that the internet is not for humans. It's hard for joe blow to use btc because it's not very user friendly yet, but just like with the internet this will improve to the point that any fool can use it with ease.

It has a huuuuge impact. Countries with comparative advantages and/or excess supplies of some goods or resources can now sell those to other countries and earn a profit which they otherwise could not -- and obviously this is a win for the receiving countries as well. The world economy in total gains a ton on this.

The good thing it could do is to make it impossible for the central bank to print money thus making unnessecary inflation. Can't see any gov wanting to give that power away though.

Child labor. Yes child labor leads to lower prices but in the long term it's bad since the kids miss the chance of getting education which lowers the total pool of the educated population which in turn means less people to innovate new tech to increase the economic output.

The common man splurges too much and doesn't think long term. The investor tries to make financial decisions based on increasing his money over the future.

You should not pick the current winners, you should pick the potential winners that no one has heard about yet. Those are often low cap coins with unique use cases and good teams. Good luck hunting.

Only thing that can help Venezuela is to discard their socialism and begin anew with a model based more on capitalism, a small state, and personal freedom.

Re: Did Satoshi ever mention anything about the taxing of Bitcoin?
None that I can remember upon reading some of his posts and interactions with other notable figures in bitcoin. From the looks of it, Satoshi seemed to be that anti-government guy that wants things to stay clear of government intervention and control that's why he created bitcoin. Also, his views are mainly crypto-anarchism, so that per se explicitly states that he will never ever support taxation in any way or form.
This pretty much sums up what I think as well.

I agree that it will come a huge economic crisis due to quantative easing and states issuing way too much debt too be able to keep going with their socialistic agenda.
