Can you help me choose projects? Last year I met 15 scam projects. very depressed.
First of all stay away from ICO's. Only experienced investors should consider those. ICO's are mostly overpriced, and have little or no guarantee of delivering what they promise. Second, there is a massive shortage of good crypto-devs. The good ones are mostly already working in other projects, so it's really hard to find good devs for a new coin or token. Third, the "experts" that are available to you in forums and social media are mostly accepting payment to shill a coin so noobs like you go and buy it. So until you have gained sufficient knowledge yourself or by chance get access to one of the private channels where real experts discuss, you are easy prey for the sharks.
We are now in a bear market. That means a lot of very good and established coins are cheap. They are a lot easier to research than ICO's. With established coins also noobs can do proper research along the lines that several people in this thread have suggested.

You have not clearly stated what kind of market/target you are talking about. Based on your posts though, I'm guessing you are talking about black markets. If you read old posts in this thread, you will see that the topic has been discussed several times.
I'm not going to repeat everything that has been said before on this topic, but here are some main points. Although BitBay (like almost any other tech) can be used for illegal purposes, we do not encourage it. There are three main reasons for that:
1. No one in the BitBay team wants to encourage illegal activities.
2. Many members of the team are listed on our team page with their real names. We do not want our names tied to black markets.
3. Although it takes more effort to conquer the legal markets than the illegal ones, the reward is much bigger if we succeed. Legal markets are so much bigger than illegal ones that we only need a fraction in order to become much bigger going the legal route.

I see there are questions about how to receive the Opti airdrop. We will post detailed instructions when we get them from Optitoken. The snapshot of our blockchain is Mai 1st, so you can't do anything until then anyway (except moving your Bay off the exchanges)

I beleive this project can overshadow Ethereum. Driven by community its already a top-100 in CMC.
The idea of blockchain 3.0 with proof-of-signature and super secure data storage is great.

This does look interesting as you say. XBY could be groundbreaking but as yet no top developers have done a peer review as far as i know

Like and share our social media posts, post in forums like this, and also on reddit. We particularly need help with reddit. If you have contacts in media, try to pull some strings to get us some coverage.
Facebook and other social media have some big crypto groups. Join them and tell people about BitBay.

BitBay has its own practical work products in the intelligent contract technology roadmap. It still boasts that they have no real products, and they haven't done much better than many coins and tokens.

Yes constant updates from one of my fav projects on here. How this is nearly sunk out of the top 200 is more than crazy.
It's not because BitBay is going down. Quite the opposite, Bitbay has had a very big increase the last year. The reason is all those vaporware ICO's that have come with big(mostly manipulated) marketcaps.
That's ok, it will implode at some point, and then the real projects will be the ones left standing. But I guess that's a discussion for a new thread.

Good update. I have a question for the GUI release. Is the release in the middle of this month a preview of the new GUI? Or will it be fully integrated from this point on. I'm wondering b/c why update a new version of the client with new BST templates and then have to update again later this month instead of rolling out all at once in big update.
The release in the middle of this month is a new GUI -not a preview. But there will be more changes in the future. A GUI is never done once and for all.
The reason not to release all in one big update is complexity. Keeping it as seperate releases makes it easier to manage the workflow. There is also the matter of delivering on deadline. You might have noticed that we always deliver on time in accordance with our roadmap. By making the releases more complex, we put that in jeopardy because people almost always deliver last minute internally (working on that). So if there is a last minute issue the night before release, it might be harder to solve in time when it is more complex.
