You should increase the listed exchange. Because if the cryptocurrency had listed on many exchange, it will easily reach the new investor and traders also. All the coin use to focus on New investors and new traders. Since they had good money to inverse. Because new traders had a brave to inverse on new coin then the old traders.

Actually that reminds me  Grin . . . . I have a Pi running 24/7 and my PC goes for a few hours a day, is it an issue that I have 2 devices on the same public IP address?

Could be, as I was unable to see your IP even though I was connected for a while. I've had to add your address manually.

It appears that my IP address changes on a daily basis. Cry

This looks bad, any ideas?

philosopherstone-qt: /usr/include/boost/thread/pthread/recursive_mutex.hpp:113: void boost::recursive_mutex::lock(): Assertion `!pthread_mutex_lock(&m)' failed.
Aborted

 Huh

I think you need to go back to the previous version(s) of Boost library; check the readme.
On Linux you also need to compile with an old SSL library (but the above doesn't seem to relate to that issue).

VladK? Noob_two? Palmdetroit? Any other idea?

The system has been running for about a year with no issue and no updates, this has just popped up.

Something was updated in your system, not the QT/Wallet

Would that happen automatically? It's a Pi running Raspbian and I haven't updated manually.

No it shouldn't happens automatically, at least not that I'm aware of. The technical issue is probably above my competencies, but here is how I'd go about it, step by step if previous step didn't fix the situation:
  • Kill the process and restart the QT
  • Erase the blockchain data and resync. I can provide a link with an old bootstrap, which may at least speed up things if you don't have it
  • Remove PHS entirely and re-install. Make sure you use v1.6.6.9b
  • Check that your raspberry Pi (or the VE in which you run PHS) uses the right dependencies/libraries: https://github.com/philosopherstonecoin/philosopherstone/blob/master/doc/build-unix.txt
  • Run the PHS executable on a Windows machine or Windows VM

Hope that helps.

Awesome, thanks for the 'how to', I'll give it a try and see what happens, cheers.

Step 1 above seems to have fixed it, weird!

Thanks for the help team!!!

not a sound investment proposition Smiley as you cannot even make a "gentlemen's agreement" for a criminal activity...

it's true however many PoW coins don't have the hashpower to withstand a serious 51% attack, they might benefit greatly from modifying their blockchains with the newer and more robust proof methods.
Like the sign says, "If the cash is there, we don't care."

I just ran a check of my wallet because the balance kept changing unexpectedly. There were a few orphans so I ran a repair and lost about 10% of my stones, is this normal?

At what block does halving occur?

Block 1'060'000 ...  Wink

So I guess the question should have been: "At what block did halving occur?"  Grin

How is 'Weight' calculated? It appears that most of my weights are a direct relationship to the amount e.g. an amount of 95.0211231 has a weight of 950 (so 10 times the amount). But then I have an amount of 112.270821 that has a weight of 892 (8 times).

The number of confirms doesn't 'seem' to have any influence. I have stones that have in excess of 2100 confirms with zero weight.

Hi everyone,

This is previously Sorrros but my BTC account was hacked. So here i'm back.

I'm delighted to tell you that...

PHS will now trade on FREI EXCHANGE: https://freiexchange.com/market/PHS/BTC

... Thank you Reza and Fedde from the FREI community, you guys rock!

They are listing us free of charge. Of course Noob_Two if you want to give them some of the budget you were saving in case of listing I'm sure they will appreciate the gesture. We may also want to use some of the fund to prepare a faucet and relaunch the coin. PHS is a beautiful project, and it has proven its resilience over time. It makes no doubt that it could grow big !

Today the Daemon/QT in Linux is an OpenSSL library which should be updated. Noob_Two Would you be up for the challenge?
I tried to contact VladK and Palmdetroit over Github/email/Telegram but these may not be the right channels.
VladK is still behind the project because he is still hosting our community website http://philosopherstones.org.

Today is a great day!

Happy staking and long life to PHS !!

Boom!!!

 Grin
