Re: Is it dangerous to store all bitcoin in 1 address?

Yes it is because the hackers will easily steal all your bitcoin there. Best choice is to divide it into many wallets and enable all the security measures of that wallet to keep the hackers away from targeting your wallet.

Re: Why Good Altcoins Fail
by

Why do you think good altcoins fail to keep going?   It seems there are some that are good and people collectively have put in tens of thousands of hours supporting, but the team decides to give up midway.

Maybe they given up believing together with other alt coins who have reached so far that they can’t keep up the competition nor they have any ideas to develop to gain more investors. Then they have decided to stop wasting their time and realized that they are just keeping a front image.

What do we really need from an altcoins, what is the next big thing?

We have anoncoin, platforms for trading and smart contracts, tokens..

Where are we heading?

Bitcoin was something completely new, can we expect another one?

These alt coins are hoping to be the next Bitcoin if sometime it will just die then they are there to take its place which in fact Bitcoin is irreplaceable. Alt coins is a good one to earn profits from it thru trading and some good little things more.

Re: Investment in cryptocurrency

Hello fellow traders! Wink
It happened that I have a large sum of money (about 50k$) which I am planning to invest into a promising cryptocurrency. I have time to wait, I just need its cost to grow at a good rate. I was thinking about investing into Emercoin, as I  have studied them and found that its cost has grown substantially since its launch and there is a number of projects that they are working on, that would increase the price further.
Could you give me your opinion, and if its negative, give me a hint on what better currency I should invest my funds in.
Thanks!

Actually, it is better to invest with Bitcoin than any other coins now that it gains its momentum as countries began accepting it. You can also invest in with some big and well-known currencies there like Ethereum or Litecoin. Other alt coins really are good for trading.

This is a good throwback really and how successful it is today with the prices rising up and the use of it in the ICO projects but still I prefer Bitcoin. I just seen this thread and here I am amazed really – an alt coin who is still standing for 3 years.

Re: So Bitcoin is better than Gold?

So Bitcoin is better than Gold? Roll Eyes

While their units of measurement are not comparable, the falling price of gold and rising price of bitcoin is still nonetheless, Significant.

Now the cost of a single Bitcoin rose above the cost of an ounce of gold for the first time but ,
with the two commodities now in roughly the same price range, it's worth putting aside some of bitcoin's short-term volatility and liquidity concerns to compare them as long-term stores of value side by side.

Sure, you might argue bitcoin is newer and flashier, and that it has arguably more utility in the digital era than gold. But, gold has the indisputable track record, having been a cherished store of value for thousands of years across human civilizations.

However, bitcoin's traits have led to those backing the cryptocurrency to believe it could potentially unseat gold over the long haul.

Re: Bitcoin as a source of income?
by

Today many people rely on bitcoin, in the sense that they are now focusing on the world of cryptocurrency, leaving their jobs

Is there something like this, is there any special tips because i want to focus but not yet dare?

Yes. I would definitely accept bitcoin as my salary! Its because i could simply convert it to any other currencies that I need afterwards. It would make the whole getting paid process much quicker. Without Bitcoin I have to take a check, travel to the bank, deposit it, sometimes there is a hold. It is very inconvenient. I would love to have Bitcoin deposited into my wallet every hour and no need to wait to get paid instantly.

Re: Do you believe in god?
by
Mvaporis1961
on 25/05/2017, 08:19:21 UTC
Yes because HE is our SAVIOR, Do you know who created us,this planets, animals, The NATURE.
God is Real The chances of all of this complex universe happening without the existence of an involved God who cares about his creation are less than a million billion to one. It is kind of lame to believe in chance when the odds are that low. I don't even bother to play the lottery because a million to one is too low. It's much easier to believe in God than to believe the one in one million billion chance that He does not exist and care about what He made.YES, I believe I do believe in God. I admit that sometimes I do have my doubts and I'm unsure. However, It's SO important for people to believe in a God of some kind. We need to keep the faith in order to help us get through life and the difficulties of life. Sometimes it gets hard, and we need faith to turn to. THAT'S WHY I BELIEVE AND TRUST GOD

Re: Bitcoin treated as money in Australia from 1. july
by
Mvaporis1961

I've just read that Australia will start accepting bitcoin as a currency from July 1st. Also allowing bitcoin to be integrated better into the economy and offers no tax on it. Anyone else read about this?

What a good new indeed! Another country have now joined Bitcoin and soon there will be more others to follow this rising trend and Bitcoin needs to improve itself also to get ready for this because this surely is a big one to happen before the year ends.

Re: If Bitcoin had a stable price, would it still be as popular?
by
Mvaporis1961
on 16/05/2017, 18:58:51 UTC
When bitcoin is in stable price maybe it will not become popular.Because people are looking for a  much bigger income.
People attrack to an easy money earnings. And have future to be reach their goal.
Maybe people will just ignore bitcoin if the price is constant.
Bitcoin will have low promotion if the price is stable

Yes it is since people will worry less that it will just go dump though the happiness of pump is also a nice thing which will profit a lot of investors, those who trade. By having stable price it will have a good chance to be adapted in daily transactions.

Re: What about the idea of a bitcoin shop in big cities?
by
Mvaporis1961
on 16/05/2017, 17:26:52 UTC
Hey Guys,

what would be your opinion if there would been Bitcoin shops in big cities like London, Berlin or Paris (also smaller cities).
So you could go inside the shop and buy or sell Bitcoin for a good price.

I think it would be an good (and an advantage) idea because more people would use Bitcoin so the price would rise up and the people who are owning Bitcoins at the moment would have more money in Bitcoins. Wink

Best regards,

Patrick Smiley

This is a good idea actually but I don't really know how it will work like you need to wait for hours for your transaction to be confirmed right now. Though same wallet would be easy and instant in transfer then this would be more probable to be used.

Re: Tell me a secret: any way to earn 0.1 BTC per week?
by
Mvaporis1961
on 16/05/2017, 16:17:17 UTC
I play gambling and altcoin trade, 0.1/week profitable always does not include a signature or other giveaway.
if you want, many tutorials at forum bitcointalk Already neatly arranged page to page . Smiley
I do not encourage gambling whether it's the way you can earn more Bitcoins in a week. We all know that gambling is largely dependent on one's luck. Today we are lucky and win big money, but tomorrow you will be unlucky and lose, no one is sure anything in gambling. Currently, the price of Bitcoin is quite high makes earn 0.1 BTC in a week is even tougher, if have capital should invest in some type of potential altcoin but first of all it will require a bit of knowledge and skill. That's just my opinion

Potential Crypto-Currency is Bitcoin, you can try altcoins too, but the real safe profit is made by holding BTCs, for me it's better than any other altcoin. Gambling is very risky as you said, but it can worth with a big bankroll and wise bets. With a really huge bankroll you can place one bet daily 0.1 BTC, 50% chance of winning or a bit more... One win and you are done! Doing this for some time can be profitable, but after several months you can start having losses...
What you say is true, profit is really safe when you keep Bitcoin and wait for its price to rise to make a profit, this of course will outperform some types of altcoin. Investing in some types of altcoin will of course be a bit risky, but if you have the knowledge,  experience and a little time to learn I think you can make a lot of profit. As for gambling, it can also be profitable but it's only in the short term, no one can predict the future and no one will ever win gambling forever.

Gambling will help you in winning once or twice depending on your luck but you can never expect positive results from it each and every time and to make profits regularly is possible from trading if you have good knowledge and skills of analyzing the charts and price movements.

I believe there is no secret actually not just by using gambling. Just continue to discover new things(trading, stocks, faucet, blogger, ads, forum and everything)  and have that urge to do so because sometime all has been in the plate but you just stare at it and do nothing. But keep in mind that it needs effort and time to earn this amount.

Just curious, since the Internet is mostly an Earthly thing... would astronauts be able to access and transfer their Bitcoins whilst traveling throughout the solar system?

As long as there is an internet access and a device so you can browse it then you can. Though there is not that too much to buy in the space since mostly as we know it is on earth that everything we need is.

Any idea why BTC confirmation taking days to confirm?
Sometime BTC get refunded to Sender....Should we use high fee like advance option for send BTC?

if i want to send 1500$ BTC then how much network Fee should i use to make BTC confirmation fast?

There has been a speculation about an attack that spams and yes there is no evidence and proof whatever this is true or not so let us just hope for the best that this will be fixed in due time.

Re: Bitcoin implants?
by
Mvaporis1961
on 16/05/2017, 10:36:05 UTC
I'm not sure if this has ever been implemented yet, but can you imagine a way of paying with Bitcoin by just using your own body?

It would be more of like a microchip implanted into your left or right hand that would contain both your public and private keys to send and receive Bitcoins.

So in case you want to send or receive some BTC, you would just pass your hand over at a scanner and it would perform the desired operation. This is would make it a very convenient and easy way to transact, and carry your Bitcoins with you anytime, anywhere. However, the only thing to be considered would be the security of your private key from within your implant, to protect your funds from theft.

Nevertheless, I want to know your opinion about this, since it would be pretty cool to have such a system to help spread mass adoption of the cryptocurrency.  Smiley

What a nice thing it is! A convenient one and a new evolution of technology. But still we need to examine it closely as to its effects whether its good or bad.

Re: Kaya Pa Bang Kumita Ng Maganda Sa Pinas?
by
Mvaporis1961
on 15/05/2017, 10:19:06 UTC
