Prices have fallen again and again, and the development is too slow
Don't know about the development, but I think the price drop right now is related to the overall price drop in the crypto world.

Your article is like "security for 12 year olds", the entire VPN business is a scam...
Allowing a 3rd party to install a keylogger and keep 100% of your traffic forever is "fake security".

There is NO WAY for you to verify anything that a VPN service claims to do.
That's why MYST behavior is so troubling... it's a 100% trust-based business...
So you want the Devs to be known, highly qualified and dead serious...
Unlike, say, the complete idiots behind VPNcoin who are basically some random Chinese gamblers.
How are the Mysterium VPN providers protected in this case? Or will this end up existing VPN providers will join due to the nature of the business - in this case getting in legal trouble due to shady VPN users.
If you read their WP https://mysterium.network/whitepaper.pdf on point 4.1, it look like they are going to create another Tor network with incentive as added value.
Considering that, I suggest to check that following link https://www.torproject.org/eff/tor-legal-faq.html.en
Basically, the legal risk should be for the exit Mysterium node, not for the relays. Anyway, that's really a shame that the "dev" of Mysterium is unable to come here and respond himself.

Oh my god. That guy is really bad for communication. It should be better to remain silent.
Basically, he said that he don't give a fuck to investors and that he don't have any compassion/respect for them.
Moreover, if he don't hold any MYST tokens, he just want the price down, so don't expect any real news for the next few months.

Theyre too busy with their development hiatus (aka sippin on margaritas at an island resort thanks to the millions made from ICO) to give a sh*t about updates right now. Hopefully they return. Or they're doing this on purpose for it to dump hard and get some cheap along with whales they might be working with. Not to sound like a conspiracy theorist, but do you realize how easy it is to control the price of a coin if you're a dev and also take advantage of this control? You can accumulate and then hype up some update anytime you feel content.

Before the ICO they had all the time to hype. Now, as they get their money, they have no more time. This is really not fair!
Look at Tenx ICO. Before, during and after the ICO, their PR is always the same with very active support and updates on their social media.

It's not hard to update all their social media at the same time. Why they have a twitter account if they don't update it. A small tweet with the link of their last blog post worth nothing!
They have no excuse and they are very unprofesionnal with their community and investors.
A project is not only coding but public relation is very important. If they miss that, they don't deserve my money.
