Of course they're "regulated" by the FINMA, because they're active in Switzerland.
Their presentation suggests that they're actively working with them though.
Well, now I contacted the FINMA, and while their reply wasn't 100% conclusive, they literally said that "UTRUST doesn't have a direct FINMA authorisation for activities in the financial sector and are not a member of the SRO*" and that they will investigate this. Their complete reply actually sounds like they didn't hear about UTRUST until today.

I got a reply from fintech@finma.ch, so you might as well use that address. Please remember that you're dealing with a major financial regulation authority here, so try not to sound like you're a mad 14yo if you do.
While it's possible that they didn't get in contact with the FINMA yet because they're not yet doing active business in the financial sector, you'd expect them to have clearance for the ICO ahead of its start. And like somebody else already said, no matter if it's a positive signal for investors, I'm pretty sure you can't just change the conditions of the capital raising procedure at will while it's already running.
Possibly the case officer just didn't have the information required yet, or there's some other valid explanation. Until there's a clear statement on this, this is a major red flag for me though.
At least this is very dishonest marketing. But we already know they're paying people to shill in this thread and all over social media, so I wouldn't really be surprised.

I really don t get it why everyone is so upset.. they are telling you the following : reducing total supply by 50% is ✅ since less tokens will be availble which will "normally" result in an increased value of our tokens in the future.
Giving up on 50 millions from their own supply ✅ means they do believe that even 50 milions will be more than enough for them.
Smart contract aproved ✅ if you don t know what it means, I don't know why you  invest in crypto.
Private investors are not allowed to sell their tokens for the next 12 months✅ That was a worry for everybody regarding the post ico dumping so not so many worries now..
Extension of ico 🚫✅ both of them.. it really doesn't change a lot either way they had almost 50% of the initial 1B tokens but in the same time it will allow a last push for late investors.

As for bounty etc IT CLEARLY SAYS 5% of the total of tokens sold! Which means, that if the ico would have ended tomorrow it would have been 5% of 430 millions, not more. Now it will probably be 5% of 500 millions.

So and extension and a lowering of total number of tokens. I guess this will impact the bounty hunters the most.
For the investors, lowering the amount of tokens is good news, as they will be worth more in the long run when the product is released.

that's why I hate forks. it affects the alt coin market disproportionately, thought it's still a good way of making money by buying low and selling high.

That's true, but Ethereum will take the blame, especially if they will need to do a hard fork to get the funds available again. Solidity isn't so easy, but it worries me that someone who is actually not a solidity expert can lockup contracts and actually kill such a huge product.
