I mine with ProHash and NiceHash.  NiceHash's estimate pay out before electric costs right now is about $330/month/D3.  I run 4 D3's and am rather happy with them.  I wish they were of higher quality though, its my only gripe with them.

There is more profit in a D3 now than has been in the past 3-4 months. 
Right now your looking at $300+ per month with a single D3 (Of course that is market dependent and can shift at anytime).
Previously I was looking at almost half that.  I think the biggest problem with the D3 is lack of quality control on behalf of Bitmain. I have 4 D3's and only one is a quality miner, another 1 is a problem child and the last two only run on 2/3 boards.

I have no idea, but i am very interested in this as well.  I have been asking what are the ideal values for each section and i have never found a good answer or even what each section means.

Sadly i can't pickup at the moment, I live in Southern VA and will be heading home for the holidays, but could possibly arrange a meetup on Jan 2nd as i drive back home after the holidays.

What are acceptable Discard and Stale numbers?

In my mind running a machine for days will result in some discard and or stale results, but what is the accepted ammounts for that and how can we modify our equipment to meet that?

I recommend these steps:

0. Check temp, should run at sub 80*C. Any higher and you risk damaging your equipment.
1. Update firmware.
2. unplug for 1 hour or longer
3. Check all Cables.
4. Reset to factory settings
5. Turndown Freq. 

Are you getting anything other than "O"s under ASIC status in the bottom right of the Miner Status screen?

I have recieved some D3s through eBay that had issues, i unplugged them, checked all the cables, then did a complete reset, updated the firmware and i have had no issues since. 

Would you mind letting us know how your farm is going, Where you are located, what arrangement you made for power, your monthly income, and issues you face running such a large operation.
 I run 7 ASIC's in my basement and i live on the East coast of USA, so right now cooling is not an issue, i just had an electrician run additional outlets so i could run all 7, and it runs well.  I check on it 4 times a day, and correct as i need.

I just turned my problem children down to 525, It looks better so far.  I'll play with is and see how it goes.  Thanks for the recommendation. 

Any idea how HW issues impact mining?

Has anyone here had any luck correcting the HardWare (HW) issues with their D3's?  I have 2 that are running with over 50,000 HW in a 24 hour period. I have tried letting them cool down, a complete factory reset/reboot, updating firmware, etc... The temps are good, with the highest being 74*C right now.  Output is good, power is good,

Two of my other D3's run with less than 100 HW in the same period. 

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

From my limited knowledge and experience i would say your values are normal.  Your temps are high though, i try to keep mine sub 80*C.  Any higher and you can risk damaging your machines or fire.

The L3+ is already in circulation, I was able to buy 3 of them back in Sept and they arrived late Nov.  I really enjoy them, quiet, cool, effective, and efficient.  I would like to order more but can't wait the 4 months from purchase to delivery on them.

Yeah, I'll go with that counting. I'm hoping to avoid some of that come summer but we will see.  Have you seen "Two Ton Hasher" on youtube?
He runs maybe 10-15 GPU rigs oh his screened in patio in central Florida. 

That is crazy to hear about a $400 heating bill. Congrats on that.  I live in eastern VA so i don't think i will get that much, but the miners should help ofset the costs by a fair bit.  Any tips on routing the airflow?
