Wow, your energy cost is totally awesome. I did not know that it could be that cheap in the USA.

they charge u less for electricity u will loose about 5 times more of wat they charge you in offline episodes
lost crypto is about 5x times more for wat they charge for me and i have stable asic rigs

be aware

these guys are a joke  i have  5 asic miners with them out of 5 usually one or 2 are offline then the other 3 a running below spec because they dont provide cool air for them

and it takes anywhere from 2 days to 1 week to get support and restart the miner

loosing about half the hash rate while hosting with them

just unacceptable

first thing ass soon as i wake up check how many of miners are offline only one? good day at least 4 are running below spec ofcourse

Lucky me forgot to pay my nepy order, and I just figure it by last week, I'm so stupid awaiting for my nepy from knc, and finally look into my accout found I didn't pay it two months ago, woo~how lucky I am after read lot of reviews!
Now that's a fast refund.  Way to show those guys!!

i get it that knc faked up they KNC should triple there hash rate  provide 3rd neptune for batch 1 costumers
even low life bottom feder scum of asic manufactureres like BFL dubled there hash rate for early costumers

on the bright side bfl is about to ship there super eficient 28nm miners any time  now

only 2 more weeks:)

eerrr wait

actually its ready when its ready  chef master duchebag josh proclaimed in a recent post

I switched the failover sequence of my merged minings pools to put bitparking's mmpool first instead of my own p2pool, and boom, I am now seeing 3.35 terrahashes on the LCD readout. So somehow p2pool was causing me to lose 2/3 of my hashing power.

I tried removing geistgeld, the fastest block time merged mined coin, such fast blocks that mmpool does not merge them, from my merge but still as soon as I switched back to using the p2pool pool the hash rate shown on the LCD started dropping back down again.

So I guess it must be something about my p2pool, rather than the fact that I merge more coins with it than mmpool does, that is causing such massive losses.

is its pool related u need to check dificulty sentings  for 3th u need 2048 a least

My question is, wouldn't it be better to make up some cables that go from two sockets on the PSU to one PCI-e rather than void my year of Neptune warranty? That and demand compensation from KnC for the woeful inadequacy in their design, obviously.

u27

I doubt such a thing exists but I think the best solution to avoid warranty issues would be some sort of dual adaptor.

Something like this audio adaptor but with PCI-E plugs obviously Smiley

u got bfled? ha:)

its ok 2 more weeks

is ok 2 corsair ax 1200 i platinum?

that would be my PSU of choice. without having looked at the exact spec, i'd assume that would suffice to power your new Neptune.
Why need to use 2 1200W?
I think 1 1200(1300) and 1 850W is OK

if use 1x 1200w and 1x850w, how to connect to the 5 box + 1 controler?

1-st option - 2pc 1200W PSUs - one Psu for 3 boxes - another for 2 boxes + controller -> one 1200w PSU - work with 3 boxes
2-nd option - 3pc 850W PSUs - (one PSU for 2 boxes)x2 , another Psu for 1 box + controller -> one 850W PSU - work with 2 boxes

 1300W+850w is OK
I'm with 1 1300w (3 boxes + controler) + 1 850W (2 boxes)

hey a cube draws minimum 400 watts  up to 425w so  u can barelly run 2 cubes on 850 if ur lucky and single rail

u need single rail  evga 1300w g2  u run  3 cubes
and and a 900w -to 1000w second power suplly singel rail  to run 2 cubes plus controller card

fallow as i said or u will burn:) is as simple like that

evga 1300w g2 =3 cubes single rail
900w =2cubes plus card  -single rail

I'm not agree
1950W from the wall
this is 1950-10%=1755W from PSUs
1755w/5=351W per box from PSU (I think controler consumation is no high)

1300W PSU  load is 1053W (+ a little for controler)
850PSU load is 702W

my total draw is close to 2100 so its safe to asume a 400waat avarage per cube and

use single rail  1200w - 1300w = 3 cubes   evga 1300 w g2 im using - single rail
single rail 850 - 900 w = 2cube plus controller cooler master  1000 w im using - singlerail

its always good to be on the safe side:)

...maybe you'd like to review your calcs and give your excuses then... at actual FW stage (& no OC), ONE (1) cube barely draws 300W of juice... enough room to split them on 860W PSUs too, and enjoy these babies stabilyzing! Smiley

Cheers!
-akw-

a a i masured  850 watts draw on 2 cubes at the wall without controller card

and previous poster mentions  jsut short of 2000wats for 5 cubes plus controler 2000/5=400w

i guess some cubes use more some less   400 watts is to be safe per cube

Ignominious gloating

people, why is it you feel the need to rub salt into the wounds of fellow miners?
We have all been burned at one point or another, and if you haven't been burned then you are either more mouth than money or a god-damn leprechaun with all the luck of the devil in you.

We all understand how to calculate what our own mining rigs will make in their return of investment and whether or not they will break even, so can I just make a plea here; for the benefit of the community as a whole... quit with the ignominious gloating about how rolled-over one or other of us have been? please? It does you no favours to make folk feel badly about our expensive purchases. Let owners of these rigs discuss them in peace.

rant over.

jsut wait when bfl whos like always  2 more weeks away from starting shipping(since last year) in a few months, they have like 30 million in costumer orders like  50 procent network hash rate

Hahaha, shill all the way... pegged me there...
I did indeed have a slight advantage, due to the kindness of KNC, admittedly...
I don't however, have any inside knowledge, I'm just as you, a customer.
Feel free to call me whatever name you want...  if it makes you feel better.

no-one said anything about insider knowledge, you shill!

keep the act up...

who is this fucking guy? who let you in here? man, we need more security.

says the whining crybaby who posts endlessly about how life & the world isnt fair??

and then sticks his worthless oar into other peoples affairs.

we also need a 'mentally older than 18' function..

jeez who stuck a stick up you a*ss? If he gets Neptunes and it works out so be it. Big deal.

so you are stupid after all, it was patently clear but well done on the clarification.

no one gives a shit who ordered what - thats their business.

what is un fucking acceptable is apologising and excusing KNCs fuckups and lies constantly over and over again.

and getting free boards when most (if not all originally) received under-performing, faulty, disabled and LATE equipment.

or did you actually know that and were just 'acting' the fool?

KNC royally screwed up my Nov Jupiter. When it arrived it would only hit 550GH, I was totally screwed. PLUS the completely lied about shipping in Nov, as it arrived Oct 30th.

mine came with data cable missing from one of the chips

and the fans where bouncing around the case as they fell off the heatsinks during shipping i asume

there costumer service reply was hey no biigie just buy one on ebay

wow thanks alot knc

well still compared to bfl its still more then u payed for:)

11:11 u know what it means?

So 1200 Units for Batch one = 3.6PH minimum.
Batch two will probably add the same amount.

I think I am going to sit this one out.

smart move for the win:)
