Re: TerraMiner IV's For Sale - 3 Day Delivery *2000 Ghps*

Sorry I haven't been working much this weekend. My best friend just got married, and its my two year anniversary with my girlfriend today. So I've been beyond busy. Still working on getting a photo from corporate, the one they sent me did have the business name or date on it so I decided not to post it.

Anyway, after much talk and debate we have decided to list our units on ebay. Using paypal as a payment option protects the buyer from paying for an undelivered product. We have one listing on right now to test the market. I'll post the link for interested parties.

Please free to call, email, or message me if you would like more info or a quote. Our prices have dropped significantly from the original price we went to market with. Who wants to print some money?

http://www.ebay.com/itm/261443350812

A noob ebay account with 8 transactions and the last one 2 years ago is not a proof. Plus you sold that one for 6K and NOT 10K as the OP. It does make a difference. Also that sale could be a trap (fake sale to another account of yours or your friends) to get some bites form real punters. Buyer had only 3 feedbacks (LOL), and the picture attached was NOT yours either.

Something smells funny about this whole deal. (Are you from Nigeria by any chance Wink )

I stopped mining at this address since the 14th of March. The account still has un-exchanged that is holding up my payout.

http://www.clevermining.com/users/1A5WnmPbYZkEBzDhaiia6Z8Ze9FFNtm1hT

Please investigate.

Thanks!

Are you seriously asking the pool operator to investigate just over USD$1 of bitcoin that is held up in your account?  Simply wait until the weekend when the system automatically pays out amounts under 0.01 BTC and let him tend to more important matters.  If it does not arrive over the weekend, then contact Terk.

The unexchanged in your account is worth less that USD$0.02 -- between one and two cents!

Its not holding out his payout either, he just didnt even bother reading main page nor faq nor anything.

Looks like you guys answer to somebody and have no clue what he was asking about.
The point of the question was that when he STOPED mining for over a week there were still coins "Unexchanged".
sitting there for way too long beyond normal, reasonable time, (actually they are still sitting there).

The amount doesn't matter, every cent should be accounted for and released to the owner/miner.

I don't believe that it would take a week or two to auto-exchange whatever most profitable coins were mined at the time as the auto-exchange system takes care of it at whatever the price is at the moment.

When you stop mining and the balance reaches over 0.001 BTC, eventually it should be paid out and account balance would be ZEROED.

I have tested that claim and noticed the same outcome. Once you stop mining, the account stops exchanging and there is always something left over. - Most likely a system bug, giving the benefit of a doubt to SysOps honesty and integrity.

Yes, escrow only. People don't be stupid and don't get trapped into low price offer, bcs most of the time you get NOTHING for that price, so it is not low at all.

So far, every order I have placed with Chinese sellers for bitcoin related equipment have NEVER arrived, despite their promises and (fake) tracking numbers.
Fortunately, I did uses escrow and had to dispute, but it's a hassle, bcs money is tided up for long time, before i get it back.

Chinese will not think twice about scamming people from other countries, it's their new national sport and favorite hobby.

So, ... in case you get too hot on the price - take it easy and be careful. ... and if you don't and get scammed, then remember --- I TOLD U So! Smiley

Board Pools (Altcoins)

by

on 30/01/2014, 16:41:14 UTC
Did anyone notice the top miner in Doge stats of multipool.us?
The user  name shows up as rwisozk.

Yesterday he was mining at 825,000 KH/s and today jumped to 1,250,000 KH/s (now it dropped to 979,901 KH/s)
That's crazy, he needs to invest about $1,000,000 in equipment to mine at those rates or it is a botnet or something.

his hash rates are equal to next top 10 users combined. I think it is just increasing the difficulty for all the rest of the miners.

At very least it should be investigated and made sure it's a legit operation.

Never used a water block, so don't know how it works. I just think that expensive electronics and water usually don't match well together, therefore other coolant might work, hence my question.

Don't expect you to know, maybe others have more experience.

Just wonder if you can use mineral oil in that water block instead of water. Just in case of a leak or spill, It would not damage any of that expensive equipment.
How does the liquid circulate in it? is there a pump?

Thanks

Thank you!!! Grin

This is exactly the info I was looking for, the best explanation and a very valuable information for all newbies who deal with Satochis.

It does make sense and now I just have to adjust the strategy in managing my "savings"

This also relates to why some pools and faucets have minimum payout of 0.01 BTC (like Slushe's) or a 100k Satochis

I thought it was just to make the pool owners richer from people who start mining and never reach the minimum, bcs it takes forever to mine this amount in BTC.

Thank you for the explanation, but maybe you misunderstood me.

Those coins were sent in 1 chunk to my local wallet after many days of collecting micro payments on coinbox.me

The Bitcoins are already in my local connected wallet.
Now, since I have them in one wallet, I wanted to move them to another wallet to see how it works, just like moving regular money change coins from one pocket to another.

When I move physical coins from one place to another they don't lose on their denominated value and there is no fees.

In here I tried to move all I had: 0.00016519 BTC from one local wallet to another and they tried to charge me over 60% of my savings to do so just for 1 transaction.

I think that is ridiculous. These coins are already in the system and don't need to be mined any more.

I guess that's why they are renting them, so they can double their earnings.
Some people just can't count, and some are just mis-informed.
Why would somebody pay thousands for a miner that will never pay itself off when it gets delivered months after it's real usefulness? Yet, lots of people do.
That's why is better to sell mining rigs than do the mining yourself.

Vital info for Newbies regarding fees
by

on 17/01/2014, 22:25:26 UTC
I just did some faucet mining and got 0.00016519 BTC -- So, in their terms 16,519 Satochi.
It was sent to my wallet and it's all good, however, when I tried to send it to my "savings"(LOL) or  a holding wallet,
the Armory wallet tried to charge me 0.0001 BTC as a "transaction fee" and would refuse if I have changed the amount to 0.0000.

I was under impression that transaction fees are voluntary and not mandatory and this is trying to take in 1 swipe majority of my savings, the whole 10,000 satochi - this amount takes many days of work to collect.

Could anyone more knowledgeable explain how it works?

Is there a way to send those coins from one wallet to another without any fees?
Who is collecting them? (I use local wallet, so my computer does the processing).

What are the fees (if any) for other coins and wallets?

Any other info in this regard would be greatly appreciated and very useful to all newbies.

Thank you.
